Farmers Insurance - Jeffrey Thornton

I've been with Farmers Insurance for several years. I recently had an issue (not with a claim or anything like that) and Jeff really took good care of me. I feel like he's a stand-up guy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

The agency was able to look beyond the usual insurance offerings and find the coverage that I needed for my business

Knowledgeable! Professional! Competitive!

Fairly neutral experience as of now. We started off on a rocky start just do to my account being transferred to a new agent right around the time MI Law was going to require additional Insurance details, and my Emails went unanswered until my old Agent eventually reached out to me.

However, recently I got a call out of the blue because a way was found to save me a considerable amount of money without changing my coverage.

These two events balance each other out, so as long as I escape the need to contact my Agent for any claims/issue, it would be hard for my opinion to sway one way or another.

Farmers switched my agent about a year ago, and while I haven't had much interaction with him yet, this was in the time period where my auto insurance needed updates for the changes to MI law. I had some questions and never heard back. It wasn't until my old agent reached out to me that any thing was resolved. Not a good first impression, but I am willing to stick with them for now since I think my account fell through a corporate crack.
