The beef & potatoes are a must try, so delicious! And the best egg rolls in Minneapolis! It’s been a staple in NE Minneapolis for a very long time.

Always a Favorite! My parents and I have been going here for over 30 years. Portions are phenomenal and economical. Never had you had an egg roll so large and flaky. The flavor is amazing. Staff is very kind and on top of their service. Even if you're looking to grab dinner on your way home, you will make it in and out in under 15 minutes. Their ingredients are consistent and plentiful. Be aware of the hours because there is a break in the day where they are not open. Their recent renovations have put them up with other hip spots in the metro area. I love what you've done with the place and love even more that my favorite dishes haven't changed. Keep up the excellent work! Can't wait to visit again.

Best fried rice
Egg rolls are deep (and I mean deep) fat fried with at least a quarter pound of beef
Service is crazy fast
Portions are huge
Food prices are good.
What’s not to like?

Delicious, flavorful, and generous portions....also, the egg rolls are a must when you visit. The atmosphere is relaxing (as if you're at home) and the staff has been pleasant and helpful every time we dine-in or take-out. This place is a favorite of ours.

Very cute little restaurant, I love the decorations and interior design. Great service, we ordered take out and they were very fast, the staff was courteous and friendly. I had the bun vermicelli noodle bowl and it was tasty, although I wish it had namasu (lightly picked carrot and daikon salad) and the grilled pork was a little fatty. We also got fried rice which had a nice charred flavor, and the Nuoc Mam chicken wings which were delicious! The only minor negative is the prices are not the cheapest ($70+ for takeout for 2 appetizers and 2 entrees). Overall definitely recommend stopping by here.

Delicious and wonderful food. We simply love it. Highly recommend to visit then . Cleaned and well maintained. Staffs are friendly and every staff are wearing masks and they maintain all the protocols. Food is awesome at their best , egg rolls are wonderful, we love the vegetable roll also. Lo me-in are best.
I wonder about their prices, it’s really pocket friendly. Should come again.

Last week had a missed part of a take out order. Picked up at 12:00, did not find error until 7:00 pm. Called Que Viet and asked to get missed rice the next day. Went at 11:00 and had the nicest, kindest encounter with staff / owner !! Was sent home with missed item and extra “goodie”. Such wonderful customer service!!
Easy decision to go to the Johnson Street NE location.

Que Viet dinner: beef with crispy potatoes and chicken chow mein. Both tasty, in fact, Bobby couldn't wait to get bck to have the beef with crispy potatoes which come in a finger-licking suce. This is a neighborhood-type restaurant that closes at 8:00 - which means at 7:55 they lean over your table and whisk your empty plates away without a word and begin spraying tables to clean them - leaving unfortunate smells to replace the lovely food aromas. Wait staff definitely needs training in customer service.

The staff was really friendly and are willing to adjust whatever they can to accommodate for food allergies. The inside was really attractive and the food was served crazy fast!

These egg rolls are the real deal and are a feast on their own! They're stuffed to the brim with quality fixings and the dipping sauce is the best I've tasted. I was almost full before my pho arrived! Their pho is also great. Noodles were done just right, broth was savory, and the rib eye was generous and thinly sliced.

I'm definitely retuning to try their banh mi!

I give full marks to the service attitude of this restaurant because I ordered this noodle when I didn't know the noodles in the chow mein was hard, but I was stunned when the bowl came. I tried a few bites and it didn't suit my taste, so I went to the waiter and they were willing to help me change the food I liked. Of course the Vietnamese rice noodles in this shop are very good, I recommend this shop.

Best Asian cuisine you'll have in America. Everything is made with love and a whole lot of stir fry oil. An order of egg rolls is for two people as you'll be full after just one.

Love this place. I’ve had lunch here a number of times and always get great service. Even during lunch there has never been a wait to be seated. Definitely recommend the egg rolls and the spicy chicken. I always get the Vietnamese coffee as well for a nice afternoon boost of energy. Zoom zoom.

Known of this place since it opened. The daughter of the founder and current owner was a student of my father in high school. I have been eating here since it opened in 1980. They re-defined the top tier in egg rolls and transformed the entire Asian food market here in Minneapolis. You still will not find anything like them on either coast. Probably the best Deep fried egg roll in the continental US. They make a sticky pekingese style garlic chicken wing, one of the better ones in the city. Can't tell you much about the main menu I rarely get past these appetizers. But I can tell you they are BUSY for a reason. Save the number on speed dial. You will be back.

We love Que Viet the Village House for its egg rolls, Hot and Spicy Chicken, and it's Lomein. Each offers a generous portion with ample opportunity for sharing. It is our favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities for Americanized Vietnamese cuisine. Their new location on Grand Avenue in St. Paul offers the same menu but expands on it by also offering additional dishes which are considered "more traditional" Vietnamese fare.

One of my all time favorite restaurants! I have been a regular patron of Que Viet since 1987 when I first visited the Brooklyn Center location. I am happy to see this restaurant prosper and serve the same delectable Vietnamese dishes in all their locations.

Get the egg rolls if you've never had them. They are incredibly good. Not like your standard egg roll full of veggies, this is a huge amount of ground pork. Pictured is the bun noodle salad with egg rolls.

Ten stars. The rib eye pho and egg fu young is the best I’ve had in the United States. Super tender meat. Amazing gravy. Super friendly and fast service.

I came here just for the egg rolls everyone's talking about. It definitely deserves the hype, the outside is super crunchy and it was packed with flavor. I was surprised to find so many Chinese food options at a Vietnamese restaurant, but I gotta say my beef with vegetables was delicious. Not only is the food good, but the staff is exceptional. I highly recommend!
