Terrace Oaks West Park

Nice park with great trails for summer and winter. Lots of parking, a playground, some hiking trails are 3.5 long and offers good trails for cross country skiing

This is a wonderful natural park in the city of Burnsville. Natural hills, lots of trees, and a small body of water. There are ski trails, walking trails, play grounds, and restrooms. Only port-a-potty open in winter. We had a great walk there. The west entrance starts the walking trail, East entrance starts cross country ski trails.

Great park in the heart of Burnsville. I didn't realize how extensive the trails were until I went for an evening hike. The oak savannah is beautiful and the heavily wooded section is very well maintained. Rolling hills, wide turf and dirt trails and wildlife abound! Plenty of parking, bathroom facilities and convenient location make this a great family park.

Terrace Oaks @ approx 7am. Critical habitat restoration project on-going, and so she looks a tad desolate 😩. Old faithful will resume her glory, when its all done, I’m certain...

@ early dawn, the dew is undisturbed, and the air fills your lungs BIG. The hiking trail is just long & rugged enough to help work up a sweat, hopefully burn off some of that yummy summer nosh😁.

Beautiful park! Blue trail (longest) took a bit over an hour to hike. Variety of trails. Quite hilly. They also have singletrack trails that convert into winter hiking.

Beautiful varied trails, mountain bike trails, multiple lengths of hiking trails. Savanna, woods, ponds.
Somewhat loose gravel on the hills.

Love this park it has just the right level of difficulty for hikers and its not super busy so my dog loves it.

I love walking the trails in summer and winter. Easy to navigate with the trail maps.

Terrace Oaks is a great hidden gem in between Eagan and Burnsville. In the summer it's great for quick or long hikes and the winter there is a warm chalet with restrooms for cross country skiers. The ski trails are typically well-groomed. Dogs are not allowed on the cross-country ski trails in the winter.

For me it is a good workout and I still don't know my way around so it is always an adventure

Quiet little park with a nice playground and a building you can rent for small events. Hiking too!

Great park with tons of woods and walking trails right in the middle of the suburbs. Highly recommend going here if you want to go on an enjoyable walk

Good hiking trails. The Oak Savannah restoration is beautiful.

Very shady park. Look for piliated woodpeckers hawk, and owls. Can be buggy but it's by woods and water so great for a walk and playground with kids. Nice pavilion but can be lots of foot traffic going by.

Great hiking and running. Good little playground too.

Fantastic park with lots of amenities and activities for all age groups. Mountain biking trails in the summer, cross country skiing trails in the winter (they offer ski rentals and groomed trails for novices if it's something new you're looking to try), nice playground, parking, topography....there's woods, waters, meadows, and fairly abundant wildlife. It's a great park that has the feel of a state park you'd hit for just a day trip (no camping) in a lot of ways.

One of my wife’s and I favorite trails to go to just for a quick ride. However today there is a Very large down tree about a mile into it. If you go take first crossing of hiking trail or what looks like a small road back to start it’s still a fun little ride.
