Budget Car Rental

Easy rental and affordable. Customer service was great at time of pick up and drop off. car ran well. The car wasn’t cleaned when we got it but we just had to wipe up some things no biggie. Other than that car was in great condition and drove great. Will definitely rent with Budget again.

Rented from Budget at MSP and was very pleased with the service and the car (Mystery car) ! Additional note: my flight was delayed and when I looked at the policy regarding a delay I found that they hold your reservation for 24hrs. I feel that is a very generous policy as that is not always the case.

Hired a 12 seater from Minneapolis airport. High quality car. Helpful staff. Easy pickup and drop off.

Karen, the Minneapolis International Airport Budget site management representative processed our car quickly and her crew rep was fun to experience in the whole environment. We really enjoyed our entire trip and Budget was certainly part of the effort at looking for an investment property. Good reps and managers are your face.
I see continued patronage of Budget in our future.

Rented swapped to a Bolt EUV 2023 for the same price as a Corolla. Simpler process being a Fastbreak member which is free. Recommend signing up for this before getting the rental. Service desk member was helpful. Charged at a nearby EVGO charger. They had extra paperwork for an EV.

Soon after I rented a car from Budget in mid-December 2023, I noticed a slow leak in one of the tires. I had the tire repaired at a shop, and submitted the invoice for reimbursement. I hear back from Budget -- with full reimbursement -- within three hours. This is unheard of, in terms of service that was as fast and efficient as it was satisfactory!

From pick up to return things ran very smoothly, even with a slight issue with the original car. (mystery car). However, my replacement was a brand new Jeep Gladiator and for the price it was well worth the experience. Kudos!

Best rental experience I've had with over 30 years of renting vehicles. My flight was behind schedule, but the counter was still open and Mike and Audrey were super helpful and got me on the road in a timely manner. The vehicle was outstanding, I really didn't want to turn it back in. Great job to the Minneapolis Airport staff!

Great vehicle. Friendly service at check in and good help with a needed car upgrade for a minimal increase. Car return during the holidays was a bit more difficult with no attendant but worked out fine. I’d use them again!

ease of picking up the vehicle at the airport was great, lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful.
my only small issue was that we booked a certain car and we were not offered that car, even though we saw the car we had booked in the lot when we collected our car.

This was my first time renting a car and the experience was smooth and easy. I reserved my car online in advance. Pickup was fast and easy, I was upgraded to a larger car with AWD for free. I took photos of any damage before I left the garage. Then for drop off I filled up the car, followed the rental car return signs at the airport and returned the car in less than 5 minutes. Received my receipt via email with no surprise charges. Overall great experience

They just pointed at the SUV and said “take that one.” I took photos of the surface damage that I could see in the dimly lit ramp area but didn’t see a few spots/dents until later. There was also a tear in the passenger front floor carpeting that I didn’t see. No charges yet but I’m wondering who WILL get charged? Great Highlander though!

I was very impressed I haven't rented from Budget in years, but that will change. The vehicle was great, it was exactly the model I specified, I thought the price was very reasonable. The vehicle was clean, relatively low mileage and was in great shape. It came with matching tires, which is an indicator they maintain the vehicles. My family and I had a great time with renting it and it was easy and quick checking in and out.

Renting a vehicle from budget was an ease. Customer service was friendly from start to finish. We use again in the future.

Very pleased with all aspects of rental. Employees were friendly and helpful at pick-up. We called the 1-800 to change our rental plan. Again, employee very helpful. Returned at a different location with no issues. Seamless. And loved the car.

The staff at the Minneapolis Airport location were kind and helpful. The app was easy. I selected the plan that the vehicle was determined upon arrival and I was given a fun vehicle (for a big guy) that added to my long weekend. Thanks Budget!

The Budget FastBreak system whereby you go straight to your reserved vehicle (and bypass the counter) is a great appeal. The staff at the pick up location were also very helpful in directing me to the precise location. Moreover the fact that there is NO papers to sign or carry along is also very pleasing. Drop-off was also a no hassle experience! The budget rental experience is exceptional.

Easy to find on airport property. Helpful staff even when problems happen. That is what sets companies apart, good customer service when issues arise. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Budget again.

- Reading other reviews/seeing photos of crazy long lines…I had a late night flight. Maybe that’s what made it pretty quick/easy to get vehicle. I still had an issue post rental and they were great to fix it.

Budget’s Fastbreak Program is incredibly efficient as it allows you to grab your bags and move directly to a waiting vehicle that is invariably clean, and fueled up. After a brief check out at the gate you are on your way. Drop off is even more simpler, just fuel up before returning to the airport, park in the designated spaces, leave the keys on the dash with the drivers window down. On the rare occasion that I do interact with Budget staff I have found them polite, knowledgeable and thoroughly professional. Budget’s vehicles are all well-maintained late models fresh from the factory floor.. Come to think of it, I don’t I’ve ever driven one of their vehicles that had more than 30K miles. Having a new car experience is definitely a plus. I am recommending you sign up for Budget’s Fastbreak program because I think you will find it a pleasure. They gave me exact vehicle that I booked early. Pick up and return processes were very easy at MSP renting location. The office staff was very friendly and clarified all questions. Only little concern was that given vehicle had not been properly washed/service and garage team did not much aware of some functions in the vehicle. Happy Renting and Thanks for the service!
