National Car Rental

I love going through National to rent my cars. They have excellent customer service. They take the time to make sure I'm in a car that works for my 6'6" frame. I recently rented a vehicle from the Minneapolis Airport. Nina was one of the best employees I've worked with. She showed me several car options and took the time to make sure I was okay with the car I planned to rent. She was an exceptional employee. It's employees like Nina that keep me coming back to National.

I typically only rent through National for a couple of reasons. One the car selection is always the best, if they do not have what you want you can ask, and if they can they will find u something similar. 2, the prices are always lower than anyone else. 3, the customer service you get from the time you are looking for a car to the time u return is outstanding. There has been a couple times where my price didn't match theirs, no problem at all they will adjust it to make you happy.

I'm not really sure about the other competitors and how they work because I've been only using National. I love that I come out of an airport after a long flight and simply pick a car without having to fill in paper work. It makes air travel so much easier. Will probably always use them as long as their pricing is competitive.

Great experience with National at MSP Terminal 1! Our original flight was cancelled, so we made a last minute switch to fly out the night before, arriving nearly at midnight. Easy online change to the rental via the National App. Great directions that were easy to follow to pick up location (greatly appreciated as we were running on adrenaline after 22 hours awake). Grabbing car was simple as was the exit process. Car was excellent, clean, new, and ready to go.

Return was simple and easy in reverse. Great directions via email, and Ty at the drop off was very pleasant and helpful early in the morning. He answered all our questions and pointed us in the right direction to catch our flight, all with a smile and positive energy that we borrowed for the day.

Great rental experience at National last week. At the counter, I got a deal on an upgrade: a much needed minivan. The minivan, a Pacifica, was clean and rode like a dream. My elderly mother was able to get in and out of it with no problem. Drop off couldn't have been easier. Thank you!

Even late at night, when I'm grumpy and tired, these people were so helpful and efficient. The process of getting a car was SUPER easy as an Emerald member, and I've never had such great quality service!

Rented a Nissan Rogue and it was great. Very clean and ready to jump in and go. The check out was smooth and I appreciated that the attendant gave me a window scraper since MN still has snow days. Great experience

Being an Emerald customer really helped with the whole process. They are open 24 hours at MSP airport, was able to walk straight to the lot and there was an agent to help if necessary. Essentially picked the car I liked from the Emerald section and drove away. Returning process was very smooth as well.

As usual, my experience renting an automobile from National Car Rental was "5-star." Reserving the car was easy and because I am an Emerald Club member actually picking up the car could not be easier. Excellent service, easy process, and a clean, comfortable vehicle all made for an outstanding experience.

John, the greeter, was very helpful at showing me what vehicles were available to me. There was a discrepancy with payment that I was planning on sending an email about but when I returned the vehicle it was already fixed. Overall it was a quick and easy rental!

Having used many different rental car agencies I always keep going back to National. Their process is the easiest, and their people are a pleasure to work with.

I travel for work, 3 to 4 times a month and no matter what Airport in the US I am in, my preference is always National. They have good customer service. They have great cars and great check in and check out. I have used other carriers, but when possible I always use National. Sometimes the company I work for will opt for another company due to cheaper prices typically 3-8 bucks per day. My motto is you get what you pay for, so when you can choose national!

John Williams at the MSP airport is a Greeter. I travel there for work every other week. He literally NEVER fails to greet me with a positive attitude but also helps me find a car to fit my needs. He really is amazing and makes my trips just a little happier. Thank you, John!!

Excellent Service as usual.
Although my car had a really bad smell this time. I will still use national rental car in the future. I do recommend to friends and family. Except for this car. National has the nicest fleet of cars.

I had a business Trip into Minneapolis and I am a member of Emerald Club. Once i got to the airport to pick out my car, there were only three available. Once I picked one of the cars I checked out. Within hours I received an email from Minneapolis apologizing for the few cars to select, and offered me a discount on my billing or a free day. I responded immediately and had the free day in my account the same day. Great Customer Service. Thank you National Car Rental.

I rented a vehicle at the MSP airport 3/7 - 3/13. The vehicle was as clean as it could be when I picked it up and performed as expected. National cars always seem like they were just detailed. Returning to the airport, I was in a hurry to catch my flight. Amanda working the return lanes was able to get me checked in and a receipt generated quickly. She was also very friendly and wished me safe travels. I don’t usually notice the people checking me in, but her positive attitude stood out.

My experience with National at MSP Airport was fantastic. New, clean cars to pick from when landing. And drop off was easy. On my most recent trip, I left my jacket in the car. Joe Flynn helped me get it back, taking time to go find the car on the lot and bring the jacket back in time to catch my flight. Knowing I’ll get great cars and even better customer service, I’ll keep renting through National

Staff was great! helpped me get into a larger SUV because I had bring equipment to a customer. At first I was going to do a one way down to Indianapolis but then decided to drive back. By the time I arrived they had the account set correctly and it was a breeze. Nina was greatg and there was another gentleman as well.
