Holiday Inn Express & Suites Duluth North - Miller Hill, an IHG Hotel

Nice hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. At our request, emptied garbage everyday. Had a crib for our one year old. Warmish pool. Good breakfast with lots of options. Friendly staff amd service.

Overall great experience. Fresh and clean rooms, nice selection for breakfast and the kids enjoyed the pool, although there was so much chlorine that my eyes were burning every time I sat in the pool area.

Very comfortable property with a friendly professional staff. Plenty parking, very good breakfast, nice area close to many restaurants, airport and Miller Mall. They do increase their room prices during events. We paid $371.00/ night due to the Duluth Air Show. The parking at the air show ranged from $20-50/day. The hotel manager could have offered shuttle service to/from the air show about 2 miles away to help defer the high cost of the rooms, but you were on your own. That would encourage us to definitely pick this hotel next year. Anyway, this is a nice, newer property and you’ll get a great nights sleep.

I was very pleased with this hotel! Great staff, service, and rooms. They have a pool and fitness room that was wonderful. The hotel room was very clean, crisp and a great set up. I drove up to study and relax before my nursing exam nearby, and was very pleased with all the amenities. Great bathroom, comfortable beds and great workarea. Would for sure stay again.
The location is a bit busy, but that is good for traveling, Fleet Farm is right down the road, Target as well. Many restaurants to order from, but it was just a wonderful stay after a long drive.

Very clean and very friendly staff! Great options for breakfast. Our only complaint was we were hoping for a 6am start instead of 7am breakfast.

Really great experience so far! Greated by incredibly friendly staff at the front desk. Super helpful and informative. Breakfast in the morning, pool, jacuzzi, and fair gym. We added an additional night with no issues and the room is more than nice. Safe in the closet, big walk in shower and a big comfy bed to top off a long day. Very happy so far in our stay.

We like this hotel. Very clean. Good beds. Close to Duluth downtown.
One negative thing is that the bathroom shower water pressure is very low. Water flow is very low. Same issue in both rooms. Management must take immediate action. Showering is a very important part of our hotel stay.

The room was very clean and a nice size. We had a king suite which included a sofa, arm chair, coffee table, desk and chair, flat screen TV, microwave, single cup coffee maker, and mini fridge. The toiletries provided were Dove brand. The location is a short drive to all the sights, without being in the bustling downtown area. The breakfast was actually great, they had a hot buffet and warm baked goods. There was a nice patio with a firepit. Will stay here again!

This hotel its pretty great! Vary friendly/helpful staff they truly want you to have a great experience! Super clean! When I was searching for hotel in this area it was really had to find a decent gym and a hot tub

Very nice and tidy hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Nice pool area and breakfast. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very nice and clean room. My only complaint is poor coffee and the hot tub was in fact a warm tub. Would recommend to everyone

Staff was amazing, rooms were very cozy and clean. The TV didn't have too many channels and the breakfast was not great, but those are very minor things. Will be staying here again in the future!

This is a fairly new HIE near the airport and about a 15 minute drive from downtown. Quite a lot of stores (Costco, grocery, restaurants, etc) around it. Only complaint was the low water pressure in the shower and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been. Was comfortable and I would stay there again.

The perfect landing place for our family of 6 after a few days in the Boundary Waters. We rented a very large room that had two queens and a pullout couch. Did some laundry on the fifth floor. Soaked our knotted muscles in the spa. And enjoyed the bountiful and varied breakfast options. The building is pretty new, quite clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a bit far from the waterfront dining scene but it’s an easy drive down there and totally worth it.

Clean and comfortable room, breakfast was great, and we really appreciated the laundry machines (located on the 5th floor). Nice pool area, and outdoor seating with a fireplace.

Near the airport and within walking distance of Walmart. The room I was in is probably the nicest room I've stayed at in a Holiday Inn Express. The room didn't even smell like old cigarettes! Definitely recommend.
