Hidden gem! Ordered the family platter which includes 3 types of meat, rice or pasta, salad, and a few bananas. Really enjoyed the beef, goat, bbq chicken on top of fragrant rice.
Really good stuff and worth a try if you’re curious!

Food was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. Goat meat was falling of the bone it was perfectly cooked. customer service was on point, the guy taking orders was very helpful. we got our food promptly after ordering all nice and hot.

Best gyros around. The FRIES ARE AMAZING!!!! More than a decent portion as well. They really fill the box. So good, I didn't a picture. I always forget to because I want to start eating right away. Haven't had their goat meat, but it seems they're always selling it all day. Sambusa is also good. LOVE THEIR TEA. MUST TRY.

So delicious! I was so happy to hear a gyro place was coming back to Shakopee and does NOT disappoint! We haven't tried to many things on the menu yet because I can't bare not to order my beloved gyros. But we ordered the Sambusa one day and now its a family favorite! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Was driving by and saw this place. It's right across the street from McDonald's. I ordered three Gyro dinners to-go for the family. You can get soda but I elected to have the pineapple fountain drink (wow!!!). These meals came out to be roughly $10/each and it's a total bargain. They served up a generous portion of meat with veggies. Everything is wrapped in a fresh pita with a perfect tangy cucumber sauce. Not to mention the seasoned fries on the side (probably a whole potatoes worth)....oh my! In all, it took them only 5-6 minutes to cook up. Absolutely outstanding...one if the best gyros I've ever had.

10/10 even. Wow!! This is the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. Perfect combination of flavors. And please try their Somali tea with milk…if you love chai, you won’t be disappointed! Try all of it! Why are people going to McDonald’s across the street when this piece of HEAVEN is here?!? Come onnnn…lol

Best place to eat for sure. Came yesterday with some friends, I already wanted to eat there, they just came with and we all ended up loving the food. Beverages were wonderful, staff was very friendly and welcoming. Menu has wide variety to choose from. If I get could go past five stars for how great of a place this is I would go to 100! Will definitely be heading back soon for more!!!!!

I went to the "Empire Cuisine," for the first time today and what a find! The food was excellent!!! I ordered a dinner to go for my husband and he loved it as well. We will be going back again and again that is for sure. Try it out, you will love it!

My husband & I love this place & frequently eat here. I usually get the Chicken suqaar, chicken kotleti, or katakata always with chapati and we have never been disappointed. They always give plenty of food & we always have leftovers. The staff are always welcoming & the food & drinks has always been amazing.

I came here based on the reviews and was not disappointed.

For lunch I got the gyro platter with seasoned fries, the house pineapple drink, and a beef sambusa. The food is reasonably priced, cooked to order, and served in great portions. This is easily one of the best gyros I've ever had, and it's loaded with tzatziki and meat; no skimping here. But the real winner is the pineapple drink, it's amazingly sweet and refreshing.

This place is clean, has lively music, and most importantly is hospitable. The guys running it are very welcoming and went out of their way to take care of me (and the other guests that came in after me, I noticed). If your local or passing through Shakopee, definitely stop in here at least once.

East African cuisine! Empire is a great way embrace other culture in the community. Many traditional delight & a few American classics. So everyone has a little variety for everyone.
Burgers, gyros, smoothies, coffee..

The restaurant side has great food and huge servicing for a great price. The store is neat and we'll stocked. I just wish I lived closer to them good old boys!!!

Good food, good variety. Decently cheap. One of the few places to get a good gyro and the tea and rice is very well made.

Best Philly cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had 😍 Also, very generous portion sizes. I would definitely recommend!
