The Bean

Shared a couple of the best acai bowls I've ever had. Both were icy and refreshing on a hot summer day, and loaded with delicious fruits. I'd highly recommend the "kneel" bowl for fruity, and the "hero" bowl for chocolaty.

The Bean is a fantastic spot with friendly staff, plenty of seating, and its close proximity to Washington Square Park makes it a great choice. The lattes they serve are simply divine.

Very pleasant staff happy to serve you. Varied background music to my liking. Alternative, rock and roll, etc. The place has a good atmosphere too.

Tasty morsels such as the lemon bars and brownies. The salmon, cream cheese bagel was good. Next time I plan to try the vegan burrito or wrap.

I had a delicious decaf iced mocha...friendly staff, clean place and you can linger as I was catching up with a friend. P.S. Artist Andres Serrano showed up for a beverage.

I enjoyed everything bagel and dirty iced chai! Both were delicious and I wanted to come back for the smoothies, juices, and Acai bowls.

Good coffee with ample seating. You get 2 hours of wifi with purchase. Save your receipt because the wifi code is on it.

Good prices and delicious drinks. Had the Nutella Fitzgerald. 100/10. Barista was extremely generous and lovely

When i have a heavy workload and want to be on campus, i love to stop by. They have a two hour time limit on the Wifi with purchase, but the barista was awesome and hooked it up for my 6-hour work day!!! Nutella Fitzgerald, hot or frozen is 🔥 I step outside for a puff and get to watch my table from where I'm at. Music is also a vibe, would love more bakery variety items though!

Great spot for NYC organic coffee. Great selection of coffee & smoothie drinks along with snacks and other quick bites.

Lovely cafe, good for meeting up with a friend or just getting some reading done. Plays good music always. Baristas are friendly too

I loved the coffee! So flavorful and though it was expensive, not unreasonable for NYC. I also found the staff to be very nice and they filled up my water for me. 10/10 would go again.

It is the spot when you need a chill area for coffee and your laptop or linkin up with friends. I am so happy that management has done an amazing job with their staff and expectations. I can't recommend this place enough. I always bring all my friends visiting out of town.

First off Everyone who works here has always been extremely helpful and nice! They’re good, hard workers. Especially the closers and openers. People need to be nicer to these hard workers. The girl with the tattoos and glasses is very respectful, I witnessed and you’re very rude! Be nice to these hard workers, I’m a regular and they’re all very respectful.

Great spot for coffee, studying, or getting a snack. They are a little on the specialty/pricey side for a student or person on a budget, but they have a wonderful selection of food (quiche, baked goods, etc) and drinks (coffee, kombucha on tap, etc). The seating is limited but if you can get a seat, you'll either be at a quaint round table for 2, or sitting near floor to ceiling windows lined with cushions and tables. I love coming here with a book or work to do.

I ways come to get my dirty chai with oat milk and it's pretty good. To kick it up a noch, I like to get pumpkin spice syrup in it or Irish cream syrup and... It just makes my day. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the city. The regular coffee and the specialty drinks are well made and priced. It can get a bit crowded at times and there are only benches outside to sit on, so prepare to be a seat vulture.
