Would give more stars if I could. I had the Caesar salad and dinner rolls as an appetizer. The lettuce was finely chopped and topped with freshly made dressing and finely chopped croutons and fresh parmigiana cheese. The Hangar Streak was cooked and seasoned brilliantly. And I paired it with the green bean casserole and red wine. Great service as well!

Best place to eat in Newport. Was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. For the starters, we got the green bean casserole, brussel sprouts, and bone marrow w/escargot (phenomenal). For the entree, we got a new york strip (cooked to perfection). The service was good. We sat in front of the open kitchen. It was an experience watching the chefs cook. They have a good system going. More high end vibe. Prices are reasonable. I’d definitely recommend this place and go back if I return to Newport.

We ate here on a late November Thursday night and sat at the bar. A wonderful experience. Not crowded & not too noisy. We ate at 6:30; some of the specials were already sold out. If you sit at the end of the bar, on the left side, you can watch the chefs preparing the food. Masters at work. Menu and the cocktails are distinct. Not a typical seafood style menu. No clam chowder. Try a different Nagroni cocktail! The Caesar salad was delicious and unique. See the picture. We may never be able to appreciate a traditional Caesar salad again. We split the halibut steak with tator tots (also different) - first rate! The least expensive bottle of savignon blanc was $55 - very good. Total with tip $174.

I'm writing this while still in the restaurant. I stopped by on our last night in Newport, without the two other people in my party. They absolutely missed out. I am not kidding when I say that the raviolo - and warm bread to gather up every drop of sauce - was the best bit of food I had this whole trip. And I'm a seafood lover! The hash browns were perfectly crispy, and the hatch chile pimiento cheese was the perfect punch of flavor. My whiskey drink was delicious, too. I can tell that the people here are doing something special. The food is art. I wish I had another week to try everything on the menu. Sit at the bar facing their open kitchen - you won't regret it.

TSK is a really amazing restaurant to visit when in Newport. The food is exciting but familiar in a good way.

Everything was so delicious and I love the open kitchen concept and the sitting at the kitchen counter.

The drinks and wine selection is great and the staff here are attentive and have a great rapport with each other and it permeates throughout the entire experience.

We're just visiting Newport, but our AirBnb host said TSK was their favorite restaurant, and we are SO GLAD they told us about it!
We had the perfect dinner here. I read another Google review, and we took their suggestions (plus added a couple of items) and it was seriously probably a Top 5 meal we've ever had.
1) Started with the raviolo and the bread with cacio e pepe butter. The butter is to die for, plus the sauce on the raviolo is 5 stars, so you'll have plenty of goodness options to dip your bread in. (I failed to take photos of these because we dug right in)
2) Shared the halibut porterhouse for the entree. I took a pic next to my hand for comparison - it is huge! Plus we ordered the tots and the broccolini, and both were so so good. It was the perfect meal for two (we were stuffed - you could get by with one less side but they were just so good!!) We also took an order of the chocolate chip cookies to go and the combo of the cookie with the marscapone cream is *chef's kiss*

The waiter was extremely attentive and helpful. All around amazing experience!

Really interesting and varied menu (who knew tomato toast could be so amazing!). Everyone loved their meal - all delicious and presented beautifully, but not fussy. Outstanding service! Sunset with light drizzle made for a lovely sky, too. Highly recommend.

Thames street kitchen is like a culinary oasis in a town full of mediocre sea port traps. We ordered the raviolo, warm bread and cacio e Pepe butter, hash brown , halibut porterhouse with broccolini on the side. Outstanding, dishes. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The halibut was the best fish dish we have has in town. The bread , was warm fluffy and fresh, with the black pepper and pecorino coming through from their compound butter. OMG moment when dunked in the raviolio goo.
Kitchen view was great. Conversation with the chefs was fun. Service was solid though we had to remind them on a missing side. Cocktails were also on point. The team at TSK is doing things right and we will be back next time we’re here!

Was really impressed with the cooking here. Everything was delicious, inventive, chef-y and composed but not stuffy or excessively technical. Decent wine list with some good values but also some bottles that feel a bit too expensive even taking inflation into account. At any rate, this place feels like the proverbial great neighborhood spot. If it was my neighborhood, I’d probably be here all the time ; )

Food is great! They are all spot on.
I recommend to try their desserts too.

Ambience is okay, it could be very loud inside. So if you're looking for a quiet restaurant, this is not the one.

Cozy, comfy, and elevated! Genuine hospitality with a refreshing culinary flair made for a great night out by myself at the bar. The orange wine and lamb tartar set the stage for even more delicious plates to follow. Moving back to RI after being in DC for 25 years I was worried about finding an eatery that would offer a progressive menu. TSK 💯 all the way!

Came here for dinner with a friend and had the best meal. We just split a bunch of apps and sides and everything was delicious. We had the tuna crudo, heirloom tomato toast, summer squash, Caesar salad, and shishito peppers. I would recommend every single dish. The flavors were fantastic. The waiter selected a glass of white wine to go with what we ordered and it was perfection. Cannot say enough great things about this spot.

I was here for NYE dinner and it was so great. Food is amazing and very tasty.
Had ribeye steak with soy butter + bonito flake sauce, escargot with bone marrow and broccolini with pistachio puree. 😋 House made chocolate chip cookies with mascarpone cheese was also great.

This place is a great date night or just an epic meal anytime you need one. The mission cut 30 oz rib eye is to die for. Pair that with a salad (they are all good) and a raviolo and you are going to be stuffed. I suggest you share, but that is hard to do with a menu this good. The food is all excellent, I suggest the halibut or the chicken dish which is honestly to die for. I do not order chicken when I go out but there are exceptions for dishes like this. The staff is top notch, the atmosphere is intimate with an open kitchen concept that allows you to watch and see just how talented and attention to detail these guys really are. They are artists at their work and take great pride in the food. The espresso martini is one of the best in town. Again, the staff is also top notch, expect an incredible experience, I have never had anything but here.

Incredibly prepared, unique flavors and great service. We ordered the halibut porterhouse, scallops, and grilled asparagus. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu!
