Dr. Pristas is an amazing doctor. She takes the time to make sure her patients are ready for surgery. She listens and is easy to talk to. I definitely recommend her.

I have NEVER received better care in my life than the care I received from Dr. Pristas. I had bariatric sleeve surgery and the entire experience was amazing! She is so kind and caring and patient with each person. You can tell from the moment you meet her that she truly cares about each individual and their needs. I'm confident I found the best bariatric surgeon in the area!

Dr Pristas is an amazing surgeon. She is kind, considerate, and extremely knowledgable in her field. Most surgeons rush from case to case, but Dr Pristas really takes the time to explain the patients options and the surgery itself. What a relief to have a Dr who actually cares about her patients!

I started a bariatric program with Dr Pristas in February and had a sleeve gastrectomy last week. She also fixed my hiatal hernia. The support from her and her team has been 1st class all the way. She is a great doctor and I would recommend the bariatric program at St Vincent Charity Hospital to anyone.

I don’t see why anyone would leave a bad review about her. Dr. Pristas is very knowledgeable and caring. She saved my life and I will always be thankful for her and her team. If you’re looking for a Bariatric Dr. she’s the one.

I can’t say enough about my Amazing experience with Dr. Pristas and the staff especially the advocate Maria. I felt welcomed every time I came in for my appointments. Every appointment was informative and she was very thorough with the expectations. I am so happy with my decision and can’t Thank Dr. Pristas enough. I love the new me!!

In response to Test Junk review, the decision to provide bariatric surgery to any individual patient is one that our program undertakes as a team. The staff and I also take this responsibility to heart and value the long term outcome and safety of each patient. Ultimately, the responsibility to operate or not is mine and I would do anything for my patients to ensure their safety and success. I know it is my privilege to care for my patients and I work to build trust in our relationship prior to offering them surgery. (Unable to post without giving a star rating.)
Re: Mandy Glass review, I do not know what this person could be referring to. I would be glad to understand where and when she is talking about because if I was rude I will apologize but I have certainly not harassed anyone.

I am only 2 weeks post VSG, but the care I have received from Dr. Pristas and the entire staff at the St. Vincent Bariatric center has been top notch. She is thorough, thoughtful, respectful and just wonderful! I can’t recommend Dr. Pristas and her team enough!
