Short Version: Strength Camp is grounded in community, with the best coaches and an incredible community. The knowledgeable coaches are always ready to guide and assist, and the diverse classes truly offer something for everyone! I started with the 6 weeks because I wanted the guidance, and I highly recommend it, especially if you are newer to strength training. I like how the classes are set up (stretching, strength and speed), lots of options for different times for classes, and different teaching styles! It's a work in progress, like everything else.

Long Version: My experience at Strength Camp began with an interaction with Jeremy. Initially, I felt he was just trying to sell a plan like other gyms, but I quickly realized he genuinely cares about wants what's best for you. Jeremy is the MOST SUPPORTIVE person in the room, always checking in and initially guiding me through the jitters of being a newcomer. He pushes you when needed and offers support when necessary! It is safe to say, I stayed because of him!

Coach Patrick has been another pillar of great learning and motivation. His attention to detail is unparalleled. He meticulously focuses on form, function, and mobility—everything you need to improve and stay safe. He constantly looks out for you, offering guidance and assistance at every step. Coach Phill's positivity is contagious. He notices your small victories, acknowledges your hard work, and encourages you to push further.

A huge shoutout to Coach Janet, whose insight and inspiration are invaluable. It's empowering to see strong women helping to build other strong individuals. Coach Kobe is direct and highly knowledgeable. When you ask for help, you get it. Lastly, thanks to Coach Richard for always emphasizing on form and Kon for believing in my ability to safely lift heavier!

If you're willing to put in the effort, the coaches, community, and classes at Strength Camp are exceptional. They meet you where you are in your journey and help you grow!

Just finished the 6 week challenge; and have signed up to continue. The gym and the community are fantastic. A good mix of heavy lifters and learners. The coaches are excellent, technically and emotionally. Everyone is incredibly welcoming. Now I just need to go buy smaller clothes.

If you don't want to join a regular gym and want some guidance on strength training and a supportive community look no further! I've been working out here pretty consistently over a year. It's long overdue to write a review. The strength camp gym been nothing but amazing for me. Mostly because of community and coaches. I increased my strength and gained substantial amount of muscle since I joined. It's fun, always feel great after a workout, been a life-saving having those workouts in my daily routine. You just show up the rest assured. Also love that this gym is staying away from politics of any sorts. way to go!

Worked out at Strength Camp for three months before I moved to NY and have nothing but great things to say about the coaches Eric and Kobe. Like many others quarantine was taking a toll on my physical and mental health, but since working out here and being around the energy of the other members I have been getting my life back on track. (Cliche but true Imao) Both guys are super approachable and attentive to helping all the members get stronger and achieve better technique and form in a variety of workouts.

I joined Strength Camp in February of this year to get stronger. I found this hidden gem looking for a different kind of training than the normal commercial gyms, and I absolutely love it! The welcoming community coupled with the motivational coaches really gives you that extra push to get through a difficult workout. On top of that, their well-rounded workout program is structured to increase your overall functionality and helped me with my stiff shoulders and overall rigidness. What’s even crazier is that their 1-hour classes feel like what I do for 2 hours at 24! I was pleasantly surprised to see changes after 2 weeks into the program. After completing a month, I started to feel limber, stronger, and overall better.

At first coming in I was a little nervous of joining in a group session workout, but with the friendly and motivational staff and gym-goers, I felt comfortable enough to hop in and join the group!

I highly recommend checking out this gym for anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive environment. It is for people of all different fitness levels, whether you just started or you’ve been doing it for 10+ years.

10/10

I absolutely love this gym and the atmosphere it provides. Coach Eric & Kobe are wonderful at what they do. Being able to get direct feedback on my lifts was something I always wanted. They are both very knowledgeable and have plenty of variations of workout for individuals of all skill levels.

While the coaches are great, I also have to give a shout-out to my fellow members. For those who may be self conscious about going to the gym rest easy. I've found that most members tend to be very encouraging and their hard work often pushes everyone to work hard together.

The ability to sign up for classes and the Covid precautions are both very well implemented. For anyone who's debating on joining, I would highly recommend at least trying a class. Chances are you'll be hooked and want to come back for more.

Eric & Kobe are awesome at what they do and the plans they create are very conducive of building muscle & maintaining good body structure!

Highly recommend to anybody who wants to take the next step when it comes to their fitness.

Strength Camp provides great training for beginners and experienced strength athletes. Strength training can be kind of overwhelming at first, but Coach Eric and his team are perfectly suited to work with athletes of all backgrounds and skillsets. You instantly feel super comfortable with everyone and the coaches and members are very supportive and non-judgmental. I have been training with Coach Eric for almost two years now and I have never felt stronger or more confident in my abilities as a strength athlete.

The facility itself is very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The equipment is brand new and top quality so you're training with the best stuff. There's also lots of parking and transportation options nearby so check it out!

Regardless if you're a beginner or an experienced weight lifter, Strength Camp is the place to train for all your major lifts. The environment is perfect for getting stronger and improving all aspects of your fitness.

The coaches Eric, Kobe, and Andy are as dedicated as I've seen anyone be to managing a successful gym. It's even more impressive how much knowledge they collectively have given their age.

The camaraderie at the gym is also a huge plus. Everyone is on your team and everyone wants you to succeed and do better on your lifts and push yourself further each time.

I've become a recent regular and their pricing for the value that you get to come is unbeatable. The format is perfect too, 20 minutes of warm-up, 20 minutes of strength training, and 20 minutes of conditioning. Very efficient and safe to come 5 days a week.

Highly recommend this gym if you're sick of the conventional stuff and want to up your fitness game.

This is a great community of coaches and athletes who want to get stronger and get fit. If you're new to weightlifting or have never used a barbell before, no worries because the coaches will walk you through every step of the way. I've been coming here for the last six months, have learned a lot, and definitely feel stronger than ever. Shoutout to all the amazing coaches: Janet, Stephen, Andy, Kobe, and Eric...thank you!!

I've tried so many gyms at this point that it isn't funny, but I finally feel at home at Strength Camp.

I've always been self-conscious doing strength training as a woman, but even on my first day I felt welcome (and not judged!). Strength Camp has the focus on form and the supportive environment that makes me want to get stronger and lift heavier. Everyone works hard, and no one I've met has any toxic competitiveness.

The coaches are attentive to correcting your form when necessary and push you just enough to give you a little boost of confidence when you aren't sure if you should add another plate.

I love the PR testing! It's really motivating when I can keep track of how I'm improving.

Strength Camp is amazing! Coach Eric and his team really work hard to help you meet your strength goals. They push you to train your hardest and provide excellent guidance on technique/form - which, for me, was daunting as strength training is relatively newer to me. They're all also really good at holding you accountable for your progress and how you want to grow.

I know that we are working out during a global pandemic, but Coach Eric ensures that his attendees, his coaches, and his facility all adhere to COVID guidelines including the use of masks during workouts, appropriate social distancing, limited capacity, etc. If you're looking for a place to train, a place to hone your mental health and concentration, or just a place to shed some steam, definitely check out Strength Camp!

I started walking because I knew i needed to lose weight. One day I walked by Strength Camp and decided to schedule a trial. After my first day, I can tell the coaches knew what they were doing and signed up for a month. Coach Kobe took us through the full warmup and showed me how to deadlift keeping my back straight so i don’t hurt it. Just over 1 year later, I lost over 35 pounds, got a whole lot stronger overall - I even competed in my first novice strongman competition this year!

The classes and community really help my mental too. I would recommend checking out this gym to anybody that wants to lose weight, or wants to get started working out, or even if you’ve worked out before it’ll be a great push and you might learn something from the instruction.

2 month review update: Best decision of 2022! I am down 8 pounds!
I am more than happy to have joined Strength camp and would highly recommend the place to everyone

2 week review: It's been two weeks since I joined and I've been going about 3 days a week. There are few things that Strength camp does really well:
- All the trainers are extremely invested in you, they will guide you through every step and make sure you don't injure youself and they will also push you to go heavy and stimulate growth
- The exercises are challenging and make you sweat, having a group class gives you the motivation to follow through
- the gym and equipment is pristine, extremely well maintained and well stocked

I’ve had a really amazing experience with Eric as a trainer and mentor! Eric is exceptionally knowledgeable on fitness technique and helped me craft a personalized fitness plan to meet my own goals. I felt that I was in a slump in terms of changing my body and growing bigger and Eric has helped me make substantial progress in our time together. My goal was to increase my upper body strength and size and he helped recommend equipment to invest in and taught me new workouts that I can do with body weight and with equipment. I’ve seen a good amount of growth already in the number of reps I can do for pull-ups, chin-ups and pushups. He keeps workouts varied, unique and I appreciate the individualized feedback.

I’m excited to continue working with him and growing even stronger.

Love coming to strength camp! Coach Eric and Coach Kobe have some amazingly thought out and amazingly structured program, where I can truly see myself growing stronger with observable data. The environment is clean and the "vibe" is so chill. With the coaches and members being so inclusive, I don't feel shy to push myself a little harder with the heavy lifting regardless if I hit a PR or flop. There is enough equipment for everyone to get a good workout.
In regard to covid-19, they follow guidelines of following max occupancy and everyone is wearing masks with all windows open with continuous airflow.
100/100 recommend!

Coach Eric is the best strength coach out there! He completely changed my mindset on how I should approach my fitness goals. He taught me to enjoy the process and always strive to be the strongest version of myself! I would definitely recommend Eric to anyone looking for personal training, strength classes or just wanting to become stronger!

The community here is awesome and it’s a great place to learn proper technique on your big lifts. The coaches build in accessory workouts that boost your larger compound lifts over time which is what a professional power lifting coach would tell you to do. 5 stars without a doubt.

Eric a great coach. He has a plan and a program and you can tell he believes in what he is doing. Its a great place to get a good workout from a quality coach. The parking can be difficult, but in Daly City, all parking can be difficult at times. I highly recommend going to this gym. You will get results and you will get strong!
