We had a home euthanasia with Dr. Owens for our sweet pitbull pup. Luna was diagnosed with lymphoma at 4 years old and progressed fairly quickly. Dr. Owens came to our home and with the upmost kindness and compassion let us stay with our pup on her favorite blanket on our couch while she passed over the rainbow bridge. Her care during this most difficult time allowed us to avoid a traumatizing visit to the vet, and our other dog was able to be present to help with his understanding of losing his little sister. It’s the worst thing in the world to have to say goodbye but Dr. Owens made it the best possible experience.

Dr Owens answered in an emergency. Our little dog was 15.5 years old and had a very sudden deterioration in condition, almost overnight. I called several vets for at-home euthanasia during the day and no one had availability until later in the week. By midnight, it was clear that he was suffering greatly, so I called vets at 3am intending to leave a message for the morning. Dr Owens actually picked up my emergency call and kindly offered to rearrange her schedule in the morning to be able to come by at 8am. I was so relieved that he would only have to hold on for a few more hours. She was extremely professional, communicative, and respectful, explained what was happening, and gave us our space with our dog both before and after. We never felt rushed. He was very peaceful. The paw print and private cremation turned out beautifully. I am very grateful that because she made time to come by, we were able to arrange an emergency at-home service rather than relying on the emergencies 24-hr service at the local clinic. It would have broken my heart to drive him to the hospital and drive back without him. When she took him away, he got to sit in the front seat of her vehicle wrapped in a small blanket, and I was happy he’d get to ride shotgun one last time. We only want the best for our pets and I feel I found the best in Dr. Owens. Thank you, Dr Owens!

My cat just passed away late at night. To me, I'm writing this, she has only been gone 2 hours... I feel immense grief and sorrow. I feel as though my world just turned black and all there is, is the nothingness.
I continue to be in shock as I'm writing this, but if I don't keep my mind occupied right now, I have to face the reality of this emptiness inside me.

I called the vet and she answered within a few rings. She answered my questions and was patient through my sobbing. She was calm the whole time and truly compassionate throughout the whole process. We didn't know what to do so my husband just brought her in her carrier. She asked if he had a blanket to wrap her in, and of course we didn't because we didn't know what to do.
She walks back in her house in the dark and cold and grabs a blanket for my cat. She gentle transfers her over, and what broke my heart and made me trust her was that she was talking to my cat and complimenting her the whole time. She was also saying her goodbyes to this cat she's only met after she passed.
It was something I didn't know I needed and made me trust her.

Although part of me is skeptical, since I don't see it with my own eyes and she is not our regular vet, I want you trust that the doctor is following through with what she said.

Dr Sara Owens is without a doubt the most compassionate and kind veterinarian I have ever known. She came to my home the same day my little 12 year old cat took a turn for the worst. He had been diagnosed with cancer and had stopped eating then last evening he could no longer move his back legs and was crying out in pain when he tried to move. I called every in home euthanasia vet I knew but she was the only one willing to come out. She immediately called me back on her way from Onalaska. She kept in contact throughout the trip and arrived at my home at 10pm. She treated my little cat gently, with kindness and true compassion when she helped him find peace. I can not recommend Dr Owens enough and will not hesitate to call her again.

Dr. Owens was the only vet that could come to my home same day to euthanize my 22yr old cat. She was responsive, very kind, and gentle with my little girl. I would absolutely recommend her services during this difficult time.

We recently had to seek support from Dr. Owens as a hospice vet and euthanizing of our dog of over 15 years. We found her after having a poor experience with another vet, and she was able to diagnose our dog quickly with the appropriate medication to help her last month of life end with as much ease as possible. She leads her practice with empathy and patience, and provides the attention and care needed for animals and their owners. We are so grateful and thankful to have met her, and couldn't recommend Dr. Owens enough.

Dr. Owens was called to come for a euthanasia of our 5 yr old cat with cancer. Our cat had taken a turn for the worse and we were looking for a vet to come the day we called to perform end of life services so our dear furbaby didn't have to be in pain anymore. Dr. Owens was very responsive and was able to rearrange her appointments to come to our house the same day as an emergency visit to take care of our cat's needs. She arrived and provided good details about her role and what to expect and gave us the private time we needed to spend with our furbaby throughout the process. It was a heart wrenching decision needing to say goodbye without much time after she was diagnosed with her tumor, so it was very comforting to have Dr. Owen's very professional and calm demeanor at our home to walk us through this transition. We didn't want to subject our cat to another car ride in the carrier to our vet so the experience having the service at home was the best fit for our needs. We will continue to have at home end of life services from now on, because it is such an emotional and personal experience best suited for our family at home.

We recently had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our 14 year old dog. Dr. Owens came to our home and gave us peace about our decision. Her demeanor, kindness and the fact-based information were just what we needed during our incredible moment of loss.

My parents found Dr. Owens online when they were looking for a compassionate vet to do a home euthanasia. Their dog of 16 years was losing her battle with cancer and her pain was clear. Dr Owens was kind, compassionate and obviously very experienced. When our family dog took a turn for the worst a week before the scheduled day, Dr Owens agreed to come same day and was patient and kind to my distraught parents. As a social worker in a trauma ED, I’ve heard medical doctors give the “death talk” many, many times. Dr Owens was better than half the MDs/residents/med students I work with, treating your fur baby with all the respect they deserve.l and taking the time to explain and listen to you. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and experienced vet to help your pet take their final journey.

The family dog had gotten to a point where she was in so much pain, and my family decided it was time to say goodbye her. It was such a hard time for my entire family, she was so professional on the phone and walked me through the process, and consoled me as I started to cry. She was wonderful with my parents, as I was not able to be there. It is never easy to say good bye to a pet, but she helped my family through this difficult time. I would highly recommend as she is so compassionate and you can tell she believes in her work.

It is difficult to put into words how amazing Dr Owens is. We found ourselves having to make the decision to let our sweet Ruger (german sheperd) go. He was diagnosed with cancer on his muzzle. It was eating away at the bone. We had him 3 months longer than they thought . We met Dr. OWENS at All Pets Go To Heaven. Dr Owens and Terry from All. Pets Go To Heaven took us into a little chapel. Those two ladies were so sweet and understanding of what we were going through. They were so sweet to Ruger . I will never be able to thank them enough for what they did for us and Ruger.
