Vigilante Carriages

We went on a stagecoach tour with Shiloh and it was amazing! We got to sit up top and the view was spectacular. She told us interesting and fun stories about the local area. She has such a talent for story telling, we could’ve listened to her all day! Highly recommend taking a tour with this company.

First time doing a horse riding tour & a very hot minute since I've been on a horse. Did the 2 hour one ( sore booty from it) and it was breathtaking. Had the honor of riding Zeke a gorgeous Percheron. And at 5' 3/4 inches, it was no small leap up there but what a view from the top. Had an amazingly, kind and terrific guide Cody who lead the way, literally lead the way. God bless Zeke, but he knew I wasn't experienced and put that Percheron stubbornness on display. But, just like his namesake in Surfs Up, once he got in the zone it was smooth riding. We went over hill and dell. Through forest and brush. But it wasn't until we went through open prairie that I realized the vastness of where we were; and the smell of sage after the rain is one of the most intoxicating smells.
Cody showed me his favorite view, over looking Virginia City from a hill and what a view it was!! Sitting on top of Zeke, looking out and down at the city below, you get a sense of what those pioneers felt when they came over the Bozeman Trail and dropped down in the valley. A sense of awe, wonder and relief. Sitting up there, feeling Zeke breath, listening to the wind - at that moment the world fell away and there was nothing but stillness and peace. A feeling I hope to God never to forget!
Later that same day, partook in their Ghost wagon ride tour. Extremely informative and showed me new places to visit and the history behind those places. Though I will admit, I was hesitant on going down Cover St. Place gave me the goose bumps.
All and all, highly recommend all services they offer. You are guaranteed to have fun, learn a thing or two, meet some wonderful people and hopefully forget all the worries and/or stress you have and just have fun and find your peace.

We enjoyed every minute of our Chuckwagon dinner and ride. Matt and Shiloh were so welcoming and the food was amazing! We spent the evening celebrating with them to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday- He said it was the best birthday ever! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!!

What a wonderful experience. Our hosts Matt and Shiloh made us so welcome. The food was amazing. Loved the tour that followed the meal. We would highly recommend this fun evening for the whole family, both young and old.

My husband and I did a 1 hour horseback ride, the stagecoach ride and the chuck wagon dinner ride, all in one day. We were so happy with every experience! Lawson and Aidan took us for our horseback ride and they were great. I'd ridden a horse maybe once before, many years ago, but they made it all really easy and I felt very confident. It was all at a walking pace, taking us through the town and then along a trail through trees and up a hill for some wonderful views. The stagecoach ride was fun, and so was the chuck wagon ride. The dinner was delicious. Matt and Shiloh (and Aidan and Lawson) are very friendly and on every experience we learned a bit more about the history of the area. For us city slickers from Australia it was an awesome taste of past country life, and added to our impression of Montana as an amazing place.

Took a trip to Montana with my sisters. Found this place when researching horseback riding. None of us had any experience and the two guides were amazing. They took us through trails with nothing but beautiful scenery. Absolutely breathtaking. Some of the trails were very steep going up and down but our tour guides did great coaching us.

Great people and even better ride! Very knowledgeable about local history and working with horses. Awesome communication and would definitely book again! We can’t wait to go back, it was our favorite part of the trip!

What a fun trip and check off the ol’ bucket list!! We went on a Sunday morning and had the stagecoach to ourselves! It was like a step back in time and gave you a whole new appreciation for the travelers of old! Along with the ride you are given a brief history of the area while stopping at the point of gold discovery. You’re also treated to a load of information on the stagecoach itself! Shilo was a great guide and driver! You can see and hear her passion for the team, the area and her job!! Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!

It was a great experience with Matt on carriage ride. Great for all ages. Friendly, fun, and good history details on the city. Our families favorite adventure while visiting Montana. We had the best horseback ride with Shilo. She made us so comfortable and felt in good hands. The best horses you could ask for. Beautiful views while horseback riding along with details and information about horses and more history.

Our family had a wonderful experience! Shiloh was patient and knowledgeable, and Waylon and Willie (the horses) were the best boys! The ride was comfortable and even my husband, who grew up locally, learned so much about Virginia City. Thank you for the awesome trip—we’ll be back for sure!

We have been doing this dinner ride the past 4 years for our anniversary and we absolutely love it! Matt and Shilo are the best hosts and the food is always amazing! It has now become a tradition for our anniversary and we include friends when they are here!

Such a cool and fun experience for our family. The couple who drives the carriage is so friendly and accommodating. They know lots about the area and were open to all our kids' questions. We didn't feel like we were rushed. They also were able to get us in earlier because we had another appt in town for another business. We would definitely do this tour again!

Awesome experience. Lots of history and facts and an enjoyable ride. They made the experience fun and told us about the expansion of the ride for the future. My family will be excited to attend again!

We, two seniors and a couple of teenage grandkids, had a fantastic time. We did both the Stagecoach ride and the Chuckwagon dinner. We got a lot of history and information on the Stagecoach ride. The Chuckwagon dinner was fantastic. Louis L'Amour had me expecting beans, ribs and black coffee. Who knew that the cowboys ate tri tip, spiced mashed potatoes and corn. I'll ride with that crew. Highlight of our Montana adventure.

We did the horseback riding. The whole experience was amazing and I’d suggest it to anyone visiting. Matt was extremely accommodating when we had to change our day and time. Thanks for such a memorable experience!
