Thompson-Hickman Madison County Library

Absolutely wonderful library with plenty of books, computer stations, and tables for work, study, and leisure.

The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the employees are helpful, the facilities are clean and quality. This is absolutely the spot to go when you need to do some research or have some quiet space or get out of the house and weather.

I did not do a deep dive, but it looks like there are several events and meetups that occur, and there is a large room for meetings and activities. All in all, great example of a communal hub. I would come here often if I lived in Virginia City.

Nestled on a hill in one of the few green spaces of Virginia City and staffed by folks dedicated to bringing to their community all services a library can provide (Which in such a rural area can be problematic) I give the Thompson-Hickman Library in Virginia City,Mt. two thimbs up.
