Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel

We had a lovely stay over the weekend. The breakfast each morning was great. The location was perfect. I thought that the proximity to the airport would be loud but we heard the trains and no airplanes. Even the trains weren't too bad and infrequent. Having the shuttle to and from the metro was convenient. However, be prompt the drivers are serious about their schedule with little or no flexibility.
The housekeeping was prompt. Our bedding was a bit dirty when we arrived but they sent someone up within a few minutes to replace them.
I also would not recommend spending money to use their parking garage. There is a public garage across the street for nearly half the price.

Stayed here recently for the first time, in town for business. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean-rooms are spotless, and with a fantastic restaurant right inside - met my colleagues here the first night and it was beautiful, vibrant, delicious food and drinks. Breakfast in the morning is great - nice variety. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel itself is quiet but the trains and airplanes going by were a bit loud - my only complaint. Otherwise, the location is great - central to work and everything else. I would stay here again - 10/10!

Great views, super convenient distance to the airport. Rooms were very comfortable. We were greeted by the sweetest member of hotel staff, Loren! She was so kind and professional and her level of customer service was beyond amazing. Will definitely being staying here again!

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was comfortable and I received the room type and view I reserved. The front desk staff and housekeeping were all pleasant and I was able to have the room serviced daily.

The hotel gym is awesome and has a variety of equipment and weights. The gym was clean and well maintained.

The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to the airport and the Metro station. However, I found Ubers as an inexpensive option for transportation to the museums and monuments.

I attended a 9 day conference at the Renaissance. I want to highlight the exceptional customer service of both Loren and Sean. At check in, I was not informed that my security deposit would be $250. $50 per day for the first 5 days, and an additional $200 for the remaining 4 days. I typically stay at hotels for 2 to 3 days, and I had never paid more than a $100 security deposit.

Needless to say, I was quite annoyed. Loren displayed the utmost professionalism. In fact, she managed to soften my heart a bit during our second conversation, and I went from thinking she was just reciting corporate policy to understanding & appreciating that she genuinely cared about helping me resolve this issue. Sean also went out of his way to provide exceptional customer service. In fact, each time I would see Loren or Sean in the lobby over the next 8 days, they would greet me with a smile and ask me "How is your conference going, Mr. Frick?" It was like I had 2 friends at the front desk. In this day and age, you don't receive customer service like this very often. Both Sean and Loren are outstanding representatives of the Renaissance brand and the Arlington Capital View hotel. Plus, they were able to resolve my issue, and I had an incredible stay.

The hotel itself is quite nice, as well. The conference room area on the 2nd floor was spacious, and we were treated to meals fit for a King every breakfast, lunch, and afternoon during our meetings. The Wifi was a little suspect at times. Seemed like it worked best in the hallways.

The rooms were well above average, but not as luxurious as the conference room areas. No complaints, though. I had an amazing time, and Loren & Sean are a very big reason why. Definitely recommend you stay here. - Joshua

I have had the pleasure of visiting this hotel many times for conferences and meetings. The hotel is in a great location to drive, using public transportation such as the metro, rail, and rider services.

The interior is very nice and inviting along with breakout areas to allow for conversation quickly or small groups.

Beautiful hotel in Crystal City. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Crystal City Metro station, although the hotel also runs a free shuttle to that station and the airport. There's also a bus stop just outside the hotel. The lobby is really attractive and the rooms are modern, clean and well-appointed. I got a room with a view of the airport runway but the soundproofing was very good so plane and train noise was minimal. The elite lounge wasn't open when I was there so they served breakfast in the restaurant, which was delicious. The immediate neighbourhood is very quiet on weekends, but is very safe. Highly recommended.

Stayed here a few days for business. Room was spacious with modern amenities. Enjoyed the option of a hard wired internet connection. Fantastic whiskey bar on the bottom floor and the food was great.

Centrally located hotel in Arlington. About 3 miles away from the sights in Washington DC. The hotel was modern and my room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were nice and soft...I slept well every night. I was part of a tour group that consisted of over 120 people. The hotel buffet breakfast provided to our group was nice and always fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There is a coffee shop downstairs and a nice bar to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Had to stay here due to a canceled flight. I was close enough to walk to the airport early the next morning (about a 20 minute walk) but the path there was sketchy due to the sidewalk being non existent halfway to Reagan National Airport.
Room was clean. Loved they had available Aveda products in the bathroom. It was quiet as well on my floor (7th floor).
The hotel was within walking distance to multiple restaurants.

This hotel was amazing at first I was very disappointed that there was no pool but that all changed once I saw the inside of the hotel. It is a very clean room and comfy. But the Resteraunt was the best part. It was honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. They were out of whipped cream for my hot chocolate so they made homemade whipped cream for me. Service is very good and the staff are very friendly

The service and staff were great! Second time staying here to attend a 3 day seminar and the experience has been always outstanding. The food at the restaurant is really good, specially the octopus. It would be great if they were open till midnight or 11pm at least. They close at 10pm and during these trips you want to keep the socializing longer. Last but not least I would like to give an accolade to Feshua !the server at the restaurant, she went up and above to take care of our requests. The young guy helping to set the table and clean was also super kind and always with a big smile. These great humans made our experience better than ever ❤

Phenomenal hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I have to admit that I stayed in a regular room and a presidential suite and they were both fantastic. Obviously the presidential suite was next level awesome (tv in the shower and bathroom mirror, seriously) but both rooms were beautiful. If I had to make one downside comment, it would be that the bar closes too early. 10 pm just didn't meet the mark but the food was delicious and the bartenders are very talented. They also have an amazing selection of top shelf bourbons. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay and for any major conference or event. What a beautiful venue.

I had a really nice stay at this Hotel April of 2022. The pictures are an accurate description of the Hotel and room. My interaction with the staff was pleasant. I self parked in the garage and was able to find good parking near the elevator each day. I enjoyed dinner at Socci restaurant inside the Hotel on my final night. The portions size was good. The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic and the french fries was really delicious. The location was nice and easy to access by car it was night a very far drive to the attractions of DC. I recommend this Hotel and would stay again if ever in the Washington DC area.

The rooms were very nice. It was well located. Their fitness facility would be enough for all but the most Abbott lifter. And even they would be able to make do for a few days for a few days. I only stayed overnight so unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity to partake in the lobby bar which seems to be nice .they also have some type of club lounge on the 14th floor that I wasn't able to get to eat that period. They have a terrace with chairs That you can casually relax and partake in as well.

Extremely happy!! The room was Clean, restaurant hours were great, the room was a good size, not a shoe box and great lighting to work. The staff was helpful and they had enough staff to avoid long waits. I will stay there again again upon my return in April.

Excellent staff! Great lounge on the top floor overlooking the airport, capitol building, and river. Really clean too. The downstairs restaurant had live music. The only downside is that there is no pool anymore, but they do have a nice fitness center.

Beautiful common areas. Standard rooms. Quality bedding. Good location to most Crystal City locations and the Metro. Fantastic lounge for those with loyalty status; adequate breakfast offerings, above average evening spread.

The entire experience at Arlington Capital View was a dream. This is one of the best services I’ve ever received at a Hotel. The staff was exceptional; the architecture is beautiful and myself as well as everyone I traveled with were treated like royalty. The rooms were spotless, a restaurant and bar is downstairs. I mean it wasn’t just a Hotel Stay, it was a pure luxury experience!
