I just discovered this theatre around May of 2023, and have come to two shows - one of which was opening night. When I tell you I was blown away! The set designs are amazing and I’m always astounded at how they make it work, because the theatre isn’t big at all, so I know they have to get creative with their designs. The shows I’ve seen so far have been incredible, and I’m looking forward to seeing many more! This is definitely a hidden gem that’s tucked away in the back of a weird shopping center, but I’m happy I found it and can’t wait to see more shows!

This little theatre packs in so much talent! I saw Ride the Cyclone here - the staff was friendly and helpful, the set looked great, and the cast was excellent.

I've been here a few times and I've enjoyed the plays I've attended.
The check-in experience is smooth. You buy your tickets online and give them your name when checking in.
The plays have been entertaining. The cast is full of energy and there's usually a few opportunities for audience members to participate in the play.
There's an intermission about 50 minutes into the play to go outside or use the restroom. The whole place is clean and well-maintained.
I highly recommend anyone interested in experiencing theater to give this place a visit.

This is an excellent venue to see theater up front and close. There is no bad seat. This was such a surprise. The actors are invested and animated and extremely talented. The set is small well-constructed and inventive.

I’ve been here half a dozen times over the last five years and every play has been excellent. It is an intimate theater where every seat has a great view. The cast and staff always do a fabulous job.

Awesome small theater! Intimate seating but didn't feel crowded. The management carefully checked covid tests/vaccine cards at the door which made the whole experience feel more comfortable.
I've never seen a one actor play in person before and this was a fantastic first time. I could quickly tell the difference between characters based on her voice, posture, and mannerisms, with some assistance from well managed stage tech. We will definitely come back for a full cast performance in the future.

I have never been to a live theater before. Its small, maybe only seats 100 tops. What a surprise. The performers were amazing. A familiar melody is the title we saw. The most outstanding performance was the pianist. She did an amazing job. She played nonstop for 75min. Incredible. The others sang so very very well. The acting was great. Such a wonderful little gem.

The “Cake” was a great play. We were thrilled by the actors, especially those who were playing Della and Jen. We would love to enjoy them again in other plays in the future.

Great little local black-box theater. I’ve been coming here for years, back when it was Elden Street Players. It’s amazing how they can transform their little space into exactly what they need for their performance. I will admit, there have been a few performances I didn’t care for, but those are very rare. The staff is wonderful as well, and their snack bar is a great treat, too. lways a great experience.

We saw Shrek there, which was mostly youth actors, and loved it! The adaption was great, the acting was very good and some of the actors, young and adult, had amazing voices. The little girl who played the dragon's voice was amazing! And, best of all, there was a great energy to the show. Everyone seemed to be having fun. Highly recommend!

Intimate, punctual, engaging shows, and great cast members. Not a bad seat in the house. What's not to love? Just saw Nat Turner in Jerusalem. Full Covid protocols. ID and vaccination status at the door, plus a limited crowd and cast. Good show.

A very nice, intimate and talented community theater. The theater seats about 120 but all of the seats are excellent and the foot room is much better than in many of the seats at the Kennedy Center. The sound and lighting and technical aspects of the show were very professional. There were no weak spots in the cast of 10 and one of the leads was an Actor's Equity performer, so it was a pleasure to watch. The only downside was that it was a little difficult to find. It is located behind the Hyatt hotel in a strip mall with two sides. Leave yourself a little extra time to find it on your first visit.

Bottom line, if you like theater, especially musicals, and don't want to pay $60+ per ticket and get a quality, high end community theater shoe, give Nextstop theater in Herndon a try.

We took the grandkids to see the production of Willy Wonka. We all loved it! I have never seen so many kids perform with such energy, confidence, and skill. They obviously were talented, and more importantly rehearsed well. The whole performance was well-paced and entertaining. We go to the theater a lot, and this was one of the more memorable performances we've seen for a long time. Applause!!

Just saw Godspell at NextStop theater. First time at the theater which is an intimate experience with stadium seating with only 8 rows of seats. Great show, wonderful experience. I expect we will be regulars now.

Parking can be tough near the theater, but there is plenty around. It is in an industrial park - on the Herndon Parkway side, furthest from Spring Street.

My wife & I love NextStop - been there for 3 productions. It is low cost; small, cozy atmosphere; places to eat nearby; and no traffic. When you go there, throw then a few extra bucks. It is a hidden secret.

Small intimate theater with friendly staff. Very impressed by the professional level of performance, stage and lighting they put on for Amour. I would definitely go again.

You can rent the theater to watch movies or streaming content on their 16 ft screen. We brought a blu-ray disc. The sound and video quality were good,
