Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Oakland Hayward

They are renovating the hotel, I did read a few reviews before going . What really stood out was the lady in the morning making sure breakfast was ready. She always had everything stack every 5 mins was putting new items so everything would look full - amazing . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 the rooms were clean and large enough . We spend 2 nights .

Under renovation did not impact our stay at all. Quiet, clean, good price, wonderful staff. Alexa and Michelle are always a pleasure to see at the front desk. Right off the freeway and close to Starbucks, this hotel has all we need.

I was quite concerned when I arrived as renovation is underway. Did not know what to expect with construction noise. However, given the magnitude of the work, they were silent as a " mouse." I never experienced any discomfort. In fact, from the professionalism of the desk clerk, Alex, to the beauty of my room, I was extremely pleased with the accommodations as my family is accustomed to Fairfield Marriots' consistent product and service. This particular Fairfield Marriot in Hayward was outstanding & and I'm looking forward to returning.

Oh for the past 5 years I've stayed here for 3 or 4 days each year. Clean and comfortable and the staff is pretty darn good too.

Big rooms with separate sitting area. The staff is very co operative and friendly. The location is good and has many restaurants in the vicinity like Indian restaurant Sugandha. Safeway, Walgreens and Starbucks etc. just 5 mins drive to SFO airport.

The best part about this hotel is Alex. She truly impressed us with her friendly and courteous attitude, vast knowledge of the local area and cuisine, and unmatched professionalism. even when faces with an issue Alex had a smile on her face and a solution in the works.

I really wish there were an Alex at every hotel.

We were on a 6 day vacation and are so glad we chose Fairfield Inn by Marriott. It was exactly what we needed for just the 2 of us. Conveniently located to highways. 30 min from San Francisco, 12 min from Oakland Airport and they offer complimentary breakfast & parking! The best part was their staff! They were amazing from beginning to end. Our flight was delayed coming and going so we needed an early check in and late check out, the staff accommodated us, no questions asked! I am forever grateful to the wonderful people working at this hotel who were able to ease our stress while southwest was stressing us out! Thank you again for an amazing stay! Will return when we visit California again!

First of all parking was small so all lots were taken. Check in process was alright the guy got us what we needed. In our room I didn't like the restroom it was way too small for 5 of us in the room. However it was clean and fresh AC with a nice closet mirror plus the front desk brought us towels to the room and toothbrushes. The breakfast was almost done by 8am so we waited until they had more out. We were kinda bummed out that there was no pool whatsoever like in the Marriott I work at.

Clean rooms and super friendly folks here. I stayed here for two weeks and it was fairly quiet. The ladies at the front desk were awesome, called me when I had a package delivered and called again when I forgot a personal item in the room after I left. Great to see someone that still goes above and beyond for their customers.

Great value. Friendly staff. Was able to check in early yesterday when we arrived in town. There's a Starbuck's and a Subway next door! Easy location to get in and out of. Room is large and clean. Bed is super comfortable. Coffee available in room. For the lower end of the Marriott chain, this is a nice property. Used the gym and the hot tub. Breakfast this morning was good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles as well as the usual breakfast items' pastries, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, microwave breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, etc. All in all, I would stay here again! Keep up the good work!!! PS: Paul Mitchell bath products are great!

Checked into this hotel just to make an early-morning SFO escape over the San Mateo Bridge; wish I had been able to stay much longer. The lobby/breakfast area has a three-story atrium with comfy furniture and an awesome water feature. Free decaf coffee in the lobby was hot and fresh even at 8pm. (Do you hear that, Residence Inns? FRESH DECAF at 8pm.) Great staff that handled every request.

First stay was in 2012, on my 2014 return I was happy to find they've built a Starbucks, Subway, and 7-11 nearby. Spent a weekend there and really enjoyed it. This is still a great place to stay.

The king size bed was real comfortable. And the hot tub fit two people without any problems. Plus the bathroom has a tub and shower. Real nice

Attended a birthday party event for my niece at one of their halls. For the size and the price included in the package. It was reasonable and there was no time limit when it was over. They close at 11pm i believe. Bring your own food.

Stayed one night for work just across the street. Can't beat the convenience, right off the highway, and the staff was very courteous. Subway close by for a quick bite, starbucks right outside, good location if you are in the area.

Located away from the center of the city and closer to industrial area which is preferred. No traffic in the area making it a peaceful getaway like hostel. a Subway, 7 Eleven, and Starbucks located 400 feet in front of the hotel. The Kings suite with spa is spacious, included separate living space, and kitchenette all were part of the reason I gave this hotel a 5 star. Another reason is the koi pond that is currently being built. Once done it'll be a beautiful addition to the facility.

Newer hotel. Nice accommodations. First floor rooms have hot tubs. They have a small store inside the lobby that isn't crazy over priced and is rather convenient since there isn't much around the facility as stores go, especially late night

Mr Fallah and his dedicated staff have accommodated my family and I for more than 20 years. They have always addressed my needs all hours of the day when traveling from the UK. I would never go anywhere else.

Just great my second visit here great spot for a nice relaxing evening or a frisky rendezvous in the heat of the moment like I love to do .. 😜😜😄 Anyway Happy 4th Everyone 🎉🎉🎉

Clean. Above average breakfast but still not exactly resteraunt quality. Coffee was decent. Furniture is as you would expect, pretty much Wal-Mart style. In room wifi works well.

This Marriott sports a large interior and 3 levels. It has a small interior gym, offers breakfast, occasional evening snacks, and a small spa. The parking area is small but the hotel is right next to a couple of small food options.
