Delicious! One-man operation today, and the food came quickly, and was delicious. The steamed bun was generous, and a nice mix of flavors without being too spicy. The "Old Friend Noodle soup" had a rich and surprisingly complex broth, and the slices of meat were good. Plenty of skinny noodles, and it was really tasty to the end. The decor is simple and bright with a hodgepodge of supplies lying around that actually gave the place atmosphere. Really recommend this place.

The place itself is small but pretty cozy. It is a little bit of walk from the cruise dock but the food taste great! Tried their egg fooyoung and it's pretty good. They have soft and delicious rice and the portion is ginormous! Gosh 2 people can have 1 portion of rice+ egg fooyoung with no problem. Haven't tried the noodles yet but I will! Definitely will comeback

Absolutely delicious!!! All the photos are already half eaten because it was that good, but trust that all the dishes were beautiful upon arrival! Best steam bun I've ever had! And it's not one of those places where you get each soup and all the broth tastes the same, each one has individual flavor and it is super tasty!!!! Will definitely be recommending to friends!!

Pleasantly surprised at how tasteful the pho was. Cruise ship stop, have to search out for pho wherever I travel, and this felt like a home town hole in the wall pho joint. Not a ton of menu options but it works for this small business. If you ever find yourself in Juneau and want some pho, try this place out!

This is probably my number one food spot in Juneau. Food is excellent, service is friendly, and food comes out quick, hot, and fresh. Favorites include the old friend noodle soup, chicken steam buns, and cold noodle salad. Only cons are that the seating is very limited (get there early for lunch) and the cafe is insufferably hot. Cannot recommend enough.

Great family run restaurant. I had the Old Friend Noodle soup. It was spicy and loaded with meat, tofu and noodles. I’m looking forward to going back and trying something else.

After a long day whale watching and visiting Mendenhall Glacier I was craving warm and cozy pho. We picked the perfect place. My chicken noodle soup was perfectly fragrant, piping hot and so flavorful with TONS of chicken. My husband had spicy pork noodle soup and he asked for extra spice. He said it was very flavorful and spiced to perfection. We are so glad we found this family owned cafe and it was such a short walking distance to our ship.

This is my go-to spot for really fantastic soups in Juneau. I love this place.

This feels like some of the most authentic Asian food in town. For years now, I always get "Old Friend" soup with chicken, along with a milk tea (hold the boba). Prices at this shop are extremely reasonable (the bowls of soup are huge). As some reviewers already pointed out, the atmosphere is that of a hole-in-the-wall street food spot, so you know from the lack of frills that it's going to be good.

The last time I had lettuce in a pho was in Vietnam. This place does it right. The broth is fantastic. A nice gem in a tourist trap of a city.

Coming from Maryland and then Washington it’s been HARD to find decent food here. This place is deserving of 5 stars here and compared to places down south. A+ customer service and food.

Best noodles in Juneau! I found this gem about a year ago or so and frequently visit at least once or twice a month. The beef stew noodle soup is delicious! There are also a few vegetarian options as well which is nice to see :)
The spicy tofu rice and old friend noodle soup (tofu) are packed with flavor and has just the right amount of spice to it. Although it can get crowded (especially at lunch), it is definitely worth the wait for the quality of the food.

our pick up order was ready in 10 minutes. The owner called to let us know as well as to clarify one of the items. Old Friends soup is spicy and wonderful on a cold day and you get a lot. Steam bun was very tasty. The space is cheerful and very inviting. Will be back!

One of my Favorite places to eat. I eat here almost every day. The food is always fresh and made to order. The staff is friendly but the Gentelmen working the front of house this year is almost always grumpy.
They are really hit or miss when it comes to their food being spicy. I understand, when customers order spicy it's either it's too spicy and the customer doesn't like it or not spicy enough (always my issue.)
They are great none the less though.

Intimate, eclectic, and very very inviting on a cold day. Broth on the beef pho and wonton was spot on. Sticky bun’s consistency was perfect 👌

Fantastic food and LOVELY people. The food is delicious and can cure any hangover (or illness if you are my boss reading this) and the owner is amazing, I dropped my order and he gave me a new one. also the dumplings omg

When my husband and I travel, we enjoy finding local hole in the wall gems to eat at. This was one of those. It felt like we were back in Vietnam. :) delicious pho and very friendly owner!! Will be back.

Delicious pho, curry, and cold noodle salad! The steam buns are my favorite for a quick lunch and the pho is my favorite for a rainy day meal. Everything is amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone who visits the beautiful town of Juneau.

I am so glad I found this place. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, curry chicken, and shrimp dumplings. They were all amazing and was given a steam bbq bun as a compliment. I will definitely come here again when I visit Juneau. It’s a small little restaurant right in downtown Juneau and parking was a little hard but I found a paid to park just up the street. The waitress was super sweet. You order up at the counter, grab your own drink from the cooler and the food is brought to your table. I want to try the Beef Stew Rice and the Bun Cha next time I am here.
