We used this company for their "Mendenhall Glacier Shuttle Tour". they were fantastic. We got a really good tour around town seeing lots of sites and getting lots of facts. then when they dropped us at the glacier we were given ample time to explore before they picked us up again and then let us see a few last spots on our way home. A bit expensive, but when you count all the extra information and views you get with them, this is a worthwhile tour to take.

This tour was epic. I was blown away with how perfect the guides navigated us to whale waters and found two different spots. The first one had breaching and the second spot had tandem whale hunting. A spectacular tour with great captains, deckhands and shuttle drivers.

We had a wonderful experience on our tour. Captain Mac and his deckhands, Brock and Nate were great! They were very informative on the way to see whales and once arrived, we got to see plenty of whales. Captain Mac then spotted some breaching whales in the distance and took us further and we got to watch a baby whale practice breaching with the mother. Would do it again. Worth every penny!

We had the first tour out for the day, wasn't sure what to expect. We were more than excited with all of the whales we saw. Some came pretty close to the boat! The guides where friendly, and knowledgeable and did everything they could to ensure we all had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic time with the Juneau Tour group. The boat had two decks (unlike the other boat tours), which enhanced the whale watching experience as well as provided multiple spectacular views on the water. Not only did we capture amazing photos of the whales, we also saw bald eagles and seal lions. It was evident the boat team was well trained and very hospitable: Captain Mack accompanied by crew members Russell and Zoey

This was an experience that I depended on to feel like my trip was a success! And I was not disappointed. A fellow traveler mentioned to me the night before to be sure to wear a warm hat and gloves because the wind from the water would be cold and they were so right, and I purchased both the day before so I was prepared. Our captain was fun and took us out where we immediately saw a humpback whale on the surface of the water, sleeping, but then he woke up shot water through his blowhole and we go to see his tail rise up before he went under and everyone was so excited. Then we went out further to find more, and in the distance there was a pod of orca, the stayed a way off, but then we went to another location and we saw another pod moving through the water a little way off, then they went under and the next thing we knew they were right at our boat, about 7 of them, they came out of the water and looked at us and then dove under the boat. It was the most fantastic experience I had the entire trip!!! And I'll always remember it!!! They are so beautiful, powerful, and curious. This is a must do experience!!!

We had an AMAZING DAY of whale watching with Juneau Tours!! Captain John, Captain Russell and Carrie were so passionate about finding whales. When we spotted one, within minutes we were on the trail to keep seeing them. And to top off the day, we were delighted with beautiful rainbows and the first whale tail of the season! Would definitely recommend using this company for your next adventure!

Did a morning tour with Brendan, Noah and Ford. They were able to tell us that the whales were close by before we went out.

We were fortunate to see about 10 humbacks including a mother and calf. We also saw 3 full breaches and a number of flukes including a double fluke from mum and calf.

Noah was very informative and Brendan the skipper kept a respectful distance not to disturb the whales.

Juneau is the best place to see whales imo. The couple in the cabin next to ours went on a tour in Icy Strait Point and saw nothing!

Great tour - keep up the good work 👏👏👏

What an AMAZING day of whale watching. Captain Brendan, and naturalists Russell and Addy were so funny and extremely helpful. We were able to see many whales including a very active and playful calf. On top of that, we saw a ton of sea lions and some ducks/other wildlife. 10/10 would recommend Juneau Tours.

Jamie, Rob, and Captain Charles did a really great job explaining the whale watching tour and they were really motivated and fun. The tour was so much better with them guiding us! It was such a treat to have nice people leading the tour and they were very professional; I felt totally safe on the boat with them and like they were very knowledgeable on boating!

Juneau Whale watch and Mendenhall hike with Jaden Sam Ben was amazing! We booked through Alaskan shore tours and they were significantly cheaper than our cruise and were very organized and fun!!!!! We even saw 16-17 whales bubble feeding!! The guides were so informative, kind, and really funny! They were just as excited as us to see the whales bubble feeding and one even breached!

Best bucket list day! Noah, Sam and captain John took us to all the hot spots and we saw lots of whales! Sam and I may have spotted a sea serpent... Glacier trip was excellent too. Would do it a thousand times again!

This whale watching tour was phenomenal!! The Best boats (no kidding-a bathroom onboard👍🏻), busses & crews. Our crew (Monica- bus driver, Preston- captain, Russell & Addie- naturalists/ deckhands) we’re wonderful, professional, & knowledgeable. Our group size was perfect- and we saw thrilling displays of the humpback whales (about 6?) lots of backs, tails & even the rare bubble net!!! No one got seasick at all & we got GREAT pictures and a great Alaskan memory! Thanks M&M tours/ Juneau Tours for the best day ever. Cruise boat folks, don’t worry about getting scammed here. Support the LOCAL community businesses. We’re glad we did.

Captain Marina and her crew were great! The boat is very nice, with a big deck on top of the boat for open viewing. This was our best whale watching trip ever! Not only did we start out by seeing a double breach, the whales breached at least ten more times! We booked directly, not through our cruise ship. Highly recommended!

Great Experience! Troy was a fountain of knowledge on our way to the Marina. Russel and Cha Cha took us out and we spotted a few whales. 100% worth it.

My wife and I took a Whale Watching Tour that we had pre-booked online with Juneau Tours & Whale Watch on our port visit from the cruise. Our two staff members were deck hand and naturist, Tad and Captain Lou. Super friendly, very educational and fun all round!

We saw several whales on our trip and Tad was able to answer any questions we had be it about the local Juneau area or most specifically the Humpback whales.

Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Amazing!!! Lucky enough to see plenty of whales… and some even breaching!!
Shout out to Jayden, Addie, and Capt John!!! The best!!! They made it fun and very informative!! Do it, you will not regret it! ( and it’s half the cost the cruise ship charges for their whale watching excursions)!!

This was our favorite tour in Alaska. Capt Ken and his crew members, Boyd & Jared, were fantastic guides. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, and we saw more humpbacks than we could count! The really fun thing was when a mama and baby swam within 25 feet of our boat, then baby gave us a show worthy of Sea World! The guys got as excited as we guests did. And Boyd’s Mama, if you’re reading this, you have a fine boy and you did a great job raising him :)
