Hitting on all cylinders. The sourdough ricotta pancake had a fabulous texture and delicate taste. The mushroom omelette was stacked with filling. Huge portions. Every time I’ve gone on a weekend it’s not too busy and the service is quick. Best breakfast I’ve found in Juneau.

What makes the perfect pancake? These guys know - light, springy, chewy texture. No wonder this place has a wall full of plaques as local favorite. Homey atmosphere, nice staff, great breakfast.
Update 2023 - This place is faster than McDonald's! It was 3.5 minutes from the time I came in the door until I was eating a gorgeous, homemade made-to-order breakfast. This place really impressed me.

The sour dough and ricotta pancakes were delicious. The Crab Cake Benedict was tasty. The service was friendly and the food was served fast. We called ahead to make sure we could get a seat and it wasn’t too busy at 10am. But probably because the cruise ships weren’t unloaded yet. A great spot to fuel up for a day in the mountains.

Wow this place was so delicious!!!!! I got mushroom omelet with bacon and Yukon fried potatoes and a latte. Both were excellent. The wait on a Sunday 12 pm was about 5 mins or less. Place was not hard to find at all. Service attentive and not overbearing. I really enjoyed my meal here. The price was a little steep but I did got quite a few add ons. The latte was very good as well.

We enjoyed a great breakfast here! We got coffee, the vegan pecan french toast, and the tofu scramble. Tasty food and excellent service!

Delicious food and great service!!!! I asked for a pipping hot coffee that could burn my mouth and they delivered! I look forward to coming back here next time I am in town!

This is a highly recommended place to eat from my local family, the Yukon potatoes and the French toast was so yummy. This is a nice place to bring family, friends or coworkers for a nice breakfast experience. We called to make a reservation a day before but you can make reservations as long as they are over one an a half hours out.

Incredibly, delicious bagel with smoked salmon. Breakfast Yukon potatoes were great too! The onion and tomato (served on the side of the bagel) was fresh and crisper than any I've had in a restaurant, ever. My new favorite place in Juneau for breakfast!

We had a delicious breakfast this morning. Chicken fried steak, yogurt with granola and cinnamon vanilla French toast. And the latte was so smooth, I loved it. Service and food is outstanding. We highly recommend The Sandpiper Cafe.

Best breakfast in Juneau. Gets crowded in the summer and can be long lines. It's about $20 / person with good sized portions.

I was seated right away and the establishment was very cozy and clean. I placed my order and received my food within 10 minutes of sitting down. The food was very good and portioned well. Price was $17.95 and I feel for Juneau Alaska I feel I got my money's worth. I would recommend this restaurant.

Great local spot for breakfast. We came from out of town and it was recommended to us by our host. It was busy for a Friday morning but my wife and I were still seated right away. Our server was very friendly and service was good. Food took a little while to come out but that was understandable given how busy it was…. But man oh man was it worth the wait! I got the crab Benedict and my wife got the lox and both were very fresh and tasty. I really recommend this place for breakfast!

This place makes Juneau have a pretty solid breakfast spot! I get their special french toast and its divine. Their crab cake benedict is my favorite and would say the best crab cake benedict ive had! They have a coffee bar and is able to serve me my iced mocha really delicious!

Solid breakfast! Huge portion. Very busy on Saturday and Sunday morning, but we made reservations for 8:30 am and got in as soon as we arrived.

High quality, delicious food. Everything made to order. We had the Denver scramble, hash browns, and a pancake. Portions are quite large, so you can definitely split whatever you order and save a little money. Get there before 8:30am to avoid waiting in line.

I had the French toast sampler which was fantastic. The service was great and the place was clean and quick. I would love to eat here again.
