My family and I enjoyed this excursion. The staff made our visit more pleasant; they were willing to cook my salmon the way I asked them to (medium rare).

The waterfall was amazing! The trail leading to it was short and easy walk. Enjoy the view!

The food here is incredible! Didn’t expect much when we read that it was a buffet but I was blown away. This was part of our cruise package and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing - DO IT. The salmon had this amazing glaze they put on it and their clam chowder was glorious. They have live music, plenty of drinks, a little shop, restrooms, and a pathway to go to a beautiful waterfall. The highlight of our excursion this day. Plenty of buses to get everyone back to their cruise ship too.

Wow!! Just WOW. If you are visiting Juneau, you NEED to visit this place! We were overwhelmed. This was a highlight of my trip to Alaska as a whole. Amazing food. Fast service. They were very on top of the buffet! Clean - very clean! If any mess was made, they had someone clean it right away. The washrooms are accessible & clean. There's a waterfall behind this place that you can visit too, and it's absolutely beautiful. You absolutely need to try this!

We went here for an excursion from our cruise ship it was a part of a whale watching trip we took. This place has amazingly good food. The salmon was the very best I’ve ever had. The glaze they put on it is amazing. I ate 5 pieces and the baked beans are very good also. Loved everything about this place. Don’t miss it.

Good food, friendly service, awesome atmosphere. Pan for gold, watch the salmon swimming, very scenic peaceful location, very knowledgeable friendly bus driver. We had a great time. Put it on your list of places to visit!

This experience was part of another excursion. Low expectations for a venue feeding bus loads of people. But Wow! Organized, adventure, fun, professional, live music, s'mores and tasty food including fresh salmon. Highly recommend

The Salmon bake was part of our Princess excursion. The salmon was great and the area is very nice. They actually cooked the salmon correctly. Not over cooked at all, just enough smoke from the wood it’s not overpowering. I would leave out the salmon hatchery if you can skip it. It’s just long enough to get off the bus when we went in the first week of June.

Absolutely a must. I recommend going around 1 pm. We had our first course and then spent some time relaxing at the waterfall. Second course! We spent a good 3 1/2 hours.

The food is great. The fresh salmon is the star of the show. There are many other food choices though. The area is beautiful nestled in the woods! A creek running right next to it with a wonderful waterfall within 100 yards of the food area.
There also is an old gold mine on the property which is now boarded up. But you can still see pieces of equipment from those days.

This place is fantastic! Highly recommend. The food is excellent and the al fresco dining was so cute. They have heaters so don't worry about being cold. There's a short walk to waterfalls and an old mine as well.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed ourselves the evening we were there. We were there on July 24th, so we got to experience the salmon run first hand. It was awesome. The food was really good and the staff was extremely helpful.

I loved the Salmon Bake Village whimsy, practical and creative. And great double Waterfalls, thundering and gorgeous!!! My Salmon tasted amazing, and all the Gold Panning ahead of time totally intrigued me.

Totally worth the visit! In the beautiful outdoors with a raging creek going by, live music, and great food. The salmon and ribs were outstanding, and the salmon and clam chowder was amazing.

Wonderful experience. Friendly staff. You are greeted with hot clam chowder with salmon in it, then an all you can eat buffet including salmon with the BEST brown sugar sauce on top (optional but highly recommended). Ceasar salad with flaked salmon, coleslaw, baked beans, wold rice, cornbread, cheesy scalloped potatoes. My only complaint is that they used to serve chicken breast and it appears now they serve chicken thighs and they are really tough. My daughter doesn't eat seafood so that was the only option for her. They also offer a delicious blueberry coffee cake for dessert. Complimentary hot tea, hot chocolate, coffee, lemonade and water. They have a trail which leads you to a waterfall at the end of the creek (in August we could see the salmon in the creek bed), which had some photo opportunities and gold panning. They also have fire pits for you to roast marshmallows and beer and soda for an additional purchase. As well as a small gift shop where we could purchase the glaze mix that is served on top of the salmon. Great experience, beautiful setting.

Well worth the cost it is all you can eat. You are not rushed. The layout was set up to handle large crowds but at the same time very quaint and personable. You can start off at the Clam Chowder station then get your adult beverages for a fee. There was free water, lemonade, coffee. Buffet style setup line. Salads coleslaw, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, rice, and chicken. Then the Salmon was being grilled separately and make sure to get the brown sugar glaze. You won't regret it. The staff was amazing and friendly. The yellow busses leave every 15 minutes to take you back to the port area.

This was part of our combined tour with the mendenhall glacier. We got to see salmon running upstream and the salmon bake was decent. Was a nice way to grab some food after the first half of the day.

Just a 10 minute drive from downtown Juneau and secluded back in the trees this is one salmon bake you don’t want to miss. It’s all you can eat buffet style, and the salmon is fresh, tasty and tender. The Buffet line offers assortment of salad, scallop potatoes, chicken and corn bread. Included in the meal is bottled water, apple cider or lemonade. Today’s dessert was a blueberry cake. All the tables are clean and sanitized in all in a covered area. The grounds are litter free in the staff is extremely friendly. After your meal you can take a short walk up the trail to the water falls snd an old mineshaft. There is some equipment left over from the mining days and apparently was just left it at the site. Most cruise ships offer this as an excursion and I would take advantage of it. Bus Services offered from the cruise ship Piers.
