Superb, compact hiking trail that is well kept with abundant, healthy plant life. April may be the most exquisite time to experience this trail in full bud and bloom though I also surmise that Autumn fall foliage is impressive, too.

Fort Bennett Park has a great playground and walking trails with seating spots along the way. I will definitely be back to explore this park and trail more!

11 acres is very very misleading for someone who has no real understanding of what that is. I went there on a 4 mile run and had to do the out and back about 7 times. Don't expect a longer trail, I'd recommend Roosevelt Island or Potamac Heritage Trail for that. This trail is very cute though with some decent hills to challenge you.

Beautiful hike but dense vegetation doesn't let one look over the Potomac and into DC, so not a great overlook.

Very nice walk run and they have excellent trails . IS A VERY COOL ! A lot of people bring dogs and kids.
