What a great spot. A great pub/ sportsbar with the perfect atmosphere. Dark interior, neon lights seem to be the only light source.
Pool tables and dart boards and TVs all over the place. And a bonus, this is the oldest pub in Juneau!

This billiar and bar is a local classic where you can find locals and visitors alike. The food is good and the drinks served with a good conversation.

If you like a classic midwest burger with all the usual toppings this place has it. Nice localy owned place that has a good hometown bar feel.

A wily frontier-woman has partially domesticated a small piece of Wild Alaska in the name of the Imperial Saloon on Frontier Street in Juneau Alaska.

The Imperial Saloon is just a few doors past the typical tourist taverns. An unassuming watering hole, the Imperial Saloon seeps the same self assurance that has long populated the furthest outposts of modern societies.

Out host, Shelly, has been running the Imperial, 365 days a year for over 30 years. For Christmas and Thanksgiving Shelly serves a full turkey dinner for the locals. Shelly has made the Imperial Saloon a real, old fashion, community-building, Public House.

In Juneau, if you would like a positive, local experience then I strongly recommend finding Shelly at the Imperial Saloon. Ask her to share some fascinating history about Alaska’s oldest and most famous liquor establishment.

Stopped by while in port from a cruise so we could have some Alaskan Brewing Co beer. Loved the open seats by the street, great atmosphere and good prices.

Good time watching Seahawks and Broncos

Perfect place for beer and chat!

We stopped in here to sit and cool off for a minute and ended up having lunch. And so glad we did! The carne asada tacos were amazingly good! And the loaded tots (maybe nacho tots) were delicious as well.

Awesome place offering the best burgers in town. Drinks are great at very fair prices. Staff is overly friendly and the atmosphere is just welcoming and cozy. Absolutely recommend this place for to grab a bite or for a smooth booze 👌

Short and sweet. It’s a dive bar that’s really red. They have mystery shots for 3 bucks. They somehow only have 4 darts in the whole vicinity but 3 dart boards. Super nice bartenders and reasonably priced drinks. BUT DONT SLEEP ON THEIR FOOD. That Taco Bell Crunchwrap thing they do? Holy moly. Their loaded tots? Delicious. The curly fries? Well a little salty but still good. If you need a lil dive bar to have a drink but still want to eat decent food this is your spot. But beware, the food stops at 10 even if you don’t.

Fantastic dive bar with friendly staff and a great grill inside. The jalapeno poppers were an excellent accoutrement to the wide selection of local beers.

A nice game of 9 ball and a great burger. I’m sure this place gets busy in the evenings but I found it to be a nice lunch spot without heavy tourist traffic.

Beers were cold and local, food was perfect comfort food and big servings, bathrooms are clean, and staff is very friendly! Would definitely recommend for anyone

The best bar in Juneau.. Watch UFC on Saturdays and very cool staff that serve good food.. great beer and pour strong whiskey

We arrived rather late after our flight and were greeted warmly by the bartender and waitress. Good prices, drinks and pretty friendly people!

Imperial Bar may be the oldest bar in Juneau (and maybe Alaska), but it draws a distinctly younger crowd. Bar has great energy to it, with lots of younger people, nice bar tenders, and a club-like atmosphere in the back.

Such a great place! The food is good and drink prices are amazing. I highly recommend stopping and checking out the Imperial bar!
