We booked this tour thru the ship. We booked the bike and tram package. Great experience. This was one of our favorite tours during our cruise. They picked us up early from the port and we were on our way. We rode a van up to a ski lodge and were then assigned our bikes and given gear. We had a great ride down with several stops. The guides were very informative. Highly recommend.

Very helpful staff and a good place to find new and discounted bikes as well as electric bikes. Full bike service can be found inside, and a quick adjustment area can be found outside as well. Also a good place to get a rental if you have some guests in town!

Cycle Alaska provided such a unique and personable experience for our entire group. They provide everything, are very knowledgeable, and make you feel comfortable with the entire excursion. If you want to do something with a small group that is "a bit off the beaten (bike) path". You really can't go wrong. Both Ryan and Li made the whole group feel welcome and were super personable and made the time fly. It was honestly a one of a kind experience. Thank you so much!

Had a nice scenic bike tour with Ryan and Henry. They were knowledgeable and funny! I like trivia and the driver Ryan was asking fun questions so I enjoyed the interaction. Biking to the glacier was fun but once we parked and saw it, it was a breath taking view!! Loooved the brewery restaurant after too! Yummy amber beer and delicious salmon chowder. I walked over to the famous crab restaurant and extremely recommend the crab cakes!! Thank you cycle Alaska for having this tour and led by nice wholesome guys!!

Booked an excursion through Princess Cruises called "Bike and Tram Elevation Sensation." The biking part was handled through Cycle Alaska with tour guides Dylan and Liza, who were great. The Cycle Alaska van took us up to Eagle Crest ski area and we cycled down a gentle grade for several miles, stopping along the way at various sites, such as a salmon spawning, a waterfall, and a forest site.

Cycle Alaska provided helmets and raingear (needed due to weather). The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and the trip wasn't strenuous at all. There were only 2 small uphill portions that required a bit of pedaling, but everything else was totally feasible for the most novice of cyclists at any age.

Liza drove the van and played the forest naturalist role, pointing out Devil's Club, Sitka Spruce, wild blueberries, and other features. Because we cycled on the shoulder of the road, Liza in the van followed behind the group, letting Dylan know of any approaching cars. We weren't passed by many cars at all (maybe 5 total).

The bikes were Trek FX 2 bikes (not e-bikes, thankfully!) and all in decent shape. Nice variety of frame sizes too. Raingear was mostly Showers Pass gear (which is good). Don't expect any hardcore cycling. You won't be going down mountainous trails bouncing along roots and rocks at 20 mph. These excursions are geared toward cruise demographics, so they're super easygoing. It was definitely worth it! I loved being on the bike for a morning ride, seeing a new area and exploring the side features.

Near the end we stopped at a lake and wandered along the pier and beach for a bit before finishing the ride.

Note: You will be required to wear a helmet. If you don't want to wear the helmet, you can't ride. One person in our group ended up riding in the van because he wouldn't take off his cowboy hat.

We rented bikes from Cycle Alaska when we stopped in Juneau during our Royal Caribbean cruise. We wanted to get to see the Mendenhall Glacier. They were very helpful before our cruise helping us reserve the correct bikes for all the people in our party. Once we arrived at the shop, they gave a thorough explanation of how to use the bikes along with directions for how to get to the glacier. We had a great trip and would highly recommend using them.

The bike shop is a short walk from the cruise docks. Very friendly helpfull staff. The bikes were awsome quality and completly outfited with spare tube and even a bottle of water and granola bar. We biked to the glacer and put on around 28 miles round trip. I would consider a ebike next time because we could have fit more in. The ride to the park is pretty uneventful but a nice easy flat ride. I would highly recommend this bike shop they are great.

This place is great. Everyone working here was so friendly and answered my never ending onslaught of questions. I rented a Kona Rove one day and my Mom rented an electric Verve cruiser and we rode all around Juneau and Douglas on the roads and bike paths. Very bike friendly town and so gorgeous to just ride. A couple days later I rented a trek rail 5 electric MTB and hit all the trails around Juneau and Mendenhall glacier. The rail ate up everything I threw at it on the trails and the pedal assist was a game changer since there are some serious uphills everywhere in this town. Great bikes, nice people and close convenient walking distance from downtown where I was staying. Would absolutely rent from here again next time I'm in Juneau.

Fantastic customer service. I booked online and showed up with the bikes ready to roll. Ivan helped us out and provided great advice on where to go and overall extremely helpful. I would highly recommend renting from them. Top notch outfitter.

We were in Juneau for the day and wanted to explore Mendenhall glacier on our own. It's surprisingly difficult to get there without joining a tour group or excursion, which we didn't want to do. (Other options: city bus or taxi). We're pretty avid cyclists and thought it would be fun to rent bikes. Who else can say they've ridden bikes to a glacier?

Staff were very friendly, and helped us choose our bikes. I selected an e-bike. My friend chose a gravel bike. They provided maps and showed us directions to the glacier (which we also mapped on our phones). They also provided us with bags, helmet, lock, granola bar, and water. The bags were equipped with an extra tube and pump. Both bikes were in good condition and we didn't have any problems. The e-bike still had about 40% battery life left at the end of the ride.

The ride to the glacier is about 13 miles, and took us a little less than an hour (much quicker than riding the city bus). The ride was pleasant if not especially scenic for much of the way. Most of the ride is on bike paths, or on roads with dedicated bike lanes. And now I can say I've ridden to a glacier!

Booked an excursion through princess and so delighted. Lea and Ryan took great care of us. I was concerned that it might be too hard, but it was not.

My group loved our tour with Li and Ryan! Both were great tour guides and very knowledgeable of the area. The bike tour itself was awesome. They provided us with rain gear which was definitely needed! I highly recommend booking with Cycle Alaska!!

We walked into their store to rent four e-bikes. The gentlemen working were fantastic! They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. While we were out riding, it started to rain so one of the employees drove to find us to offer us waterproof gear! Outstanding service, friendly staff and an amazing experience! Thank you Cycle Alaska!!!

Wonderful staff who made sure I had an amazing ride while visiting town. Also they are an absolute godsend for providing a tube and pump because of course I forgot mine. They provided some amazing trail beta and were a pleasure to talk to after my ride. Will definitely be coming back!

We did a shore excursion called "Bikes & Brews" during our stop in Juneau. Autumn and Henry were our guide team and they were fun, friendly, informative & professional. We felt safely outfitted with bikes and gear, and the entire Cycle Alaska team rounded out a wonderful and safe ride through Juneau and the Tongass National Forest. Would highly recommended!

Was looking at a Trek Farley 7 but was not crazy about the 2023 color. After an online search I found a brand new 2022 at Cycle Alaska in the size I needed. Spoke with Ter on the phone and purchased the bike. Cycle Alaska made arrangements to have the bike flown to New Jersey and everything worked out perfectly. Thank you Ter and Cycle Alaska for your help in getting me the bike I wanted!!!!
