Anna's Coffee Shop

Cute and cozy cafe located on the corner of Jackson and Winton Ave in Hayward, Ca. The staff is friendly and Ive always received a good hot plate fresh to order. Typical American and Mexican breakfast options. I enjoyed the eggs and cactus 🌵 with rice beans and tortillas. Waffles are tasty, apple sausage,French toast, eggs and tomatoes, veggie omelettes,veggie burritos, tuna sandwiches.

Before leaving San Fran, we had to grab a little grub for the long drive ahead of us so we decided to stop by Anna's Family Coffee Shop. Now normally I don't eat breakfast but I knew if I didn't take this change to grab a bite to eat, I wouldn't stop until I got back home. Yea I know, I'm crazy like that lol. The staff was friendly and offered compious amounts of coffee refills. Little to no wait to get seated and order our delicious food. This is one those spots that you wouldn't know about it unless someone took you there and I'm glad I can pass on the tradition to the next person. Food was delicious and can't wait to go back when I'm back in the bay area.

A great throw back to 70's dining with a Denny's like experience. Friendly local diner, lots of Spanish speakers and families raving about the food. Big plates, amazing job spicing and crisping those country fried potatoes and I got a close up. They don't open till 7:00 so I will never make that breakfast special price that they do not offer on Saturdays. Slightly understaffed and waitress tries really hard with good attitude. Would come again, prices are decent. 444 Jackson shows the cute little peaked rooftop.

Was here on business trip for breakfast. Good quality Mexican breakfast choices. chilaquiles 8/10. Great customer service.

I want to begin by saying that everybody here is really friendly and polite.
Staff were amazing ,very attentive and they made sure we had all the coffee our bodies needed for the day and speaking of coffee their coffee is the best I’ve had in years and not to mention the food , it was absolutely delicious.
My friends and I were very pleased at Anna’s Cafe and Hopefully we can come back some other time .

My fiancé’s car was being serviced and we were starving. Googled outdoor dining and this gem came up. So glad that we came to eat here. I had the chorizo, potato and egg dish and my fiancé had an omelette. Definitely a place that we will begin to dine at!

Delicious chilequeles !!!! They are crunchy and flavorful complete w a FRIED egg not scrambled!!!! So so tasty best chilequeles !

My husband and I ended up here on a whim and it was the best decision of the day. The staff upon arrival was warm and welcoming and they maintained the same level of service throughout the visit. The food, might I add I'm not a fan of restaurant Mexican food at all, was AMAZING. It could have been just what I ordered so I'll have to visit again and try other meals but the choice for that day was nopales, chorizo and eggs and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere for my taste was 5 stars because I love little hole in the wall places that feel like home vs hustle n bustle big crowded locations but taking into consideration I'm an introvert and my preference doesn't reflect the masses I opted for 4 stars. Highly recommend if your in town.

You might not be able to tell but this plate is big and plated generously. I've been to plenty of Mexican restaurants before and usually can tell from the first bite if I'm going to enjoy the rest of it. And boy that first bite was amazing in every single way possible. I thoroughly enjoyed this simple meal. Of course, it was a bigger plate so I took the rest home! The funny thing is, my husband and I originally stopped here for breakfast but we couldn't resist! I will definitely be returning. Thank you to our server and their kitchen staff for a great experience!

Found this spot because we were storing our stuff at a facility nearby. It’s a solid spot for breakfast with nice staff and friendly service. Standard diner fare with a Mexican twist that tastes good and has large portions.

Love the food! Feels like home. I highly recommend improving/upgrading your coffee! The coffee every time had a burned taste and isn't very tasty. Big part of a delicious breakfast is the coffee!

A real quality coffee shop with spectacular Mexican specialties. Don't miss the Mexican omelet - house made chorizo, tomatoes and onions combine with eggs to make something really special. I tried it the first time and have yet to try something else - if I got there more often I'd be more willing to forgo the dish occasionally to try something else.

The hash browns are crisp yet not overdone. The coffee is dark and strong. The service is attentive and friendly.

It's not fancy - it's an old-school coffee shop. There is a counter to eat at if you want (or if there are no tables left). Weekends it gets very crowded. Parking is tough almost any time.

I honestly hate to say such nice things about it because I don't want it to be any more crowded than it already is. But they deserve it.

Been here 4 times now & have had an excellent experience every time. Wait staff are friendly & upbeat. (Today was Marina). Always right on time with more coffee. Food is excellent. Country potatoes (home fries) are great. Crispy but not greasy. Had mush/sausage/onion/cheese omelette today. No scrimping on the mushrooms. Awesome! (Thank you Jose). Very reasonable prices. Good value for good amount of food. Weekday breakfast special: 2 hotcakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of meat for $4.99 with purchase of drink. I have finally found "my breakfast place" in Hayward. No more IHop! Only open for breakfast and lunch.
