Alamo Rent A Car

Picked up a rental mid-size sedan rental at the Philadelphia International Airport. I reserved a smaller sized vehicle, but I asked to be upgraded to a full-size when I saw that there were two Toyota Camry available. My dropped off location was here at DCA. The car on pickup was clean. I try to make a habit of taking pictures or video of the car upon drop-off, especially since at DCA and other airports there is no attendant that sees the car immediately as you drop it off especially at late or early hours.

Nothing less than FIVE STAR treatment. I was traveling with two car seats, stroller and three children and not to mention wheelchair assistance 😔. Torrence and Robin were on it. I called from the train and he heard the stress in my voice and moved into action and met me in the rain to assist me 🥹. He made sure I was well pleased with the vehicle and gave me the reassurance that his team would be there to assist me when I return. They were and this is the best form of leadership and customer service at its best. Robin called and followed up with an emailed to make sure if I needed anything she was there to assist. From the manager all the way to the parking attendant who drove and dropped us off at the curb ask were very polite, professional and concern with my needs. This manner of service was sincere and very much appreciated. This Reagan DC rental department did an amazing, excellent and attentive service to customers that they should be the model for all. I just want to take a moment to give a shoutout review to Mr. Brooke at Alamo rentals at Ronald Regan Airport. He assisted me and my friend with our rental checkout and he was very kind, courteous, and helpful. I hope all other staff can look to him as an example of how excellent customer service is done.

Alamo was very fast, convenient and affordable... I will be using them in the future for sure. Car was nice and clean with no issues... Customer service was top notch and I was able to be in and out on pick up and drop off in a blink of an eye!

Renting a car from Alamo at Regan Airport was a breeze. I feel the rental car was priced well, looked and smelled new and had great gas milage. We took the free shuttle to the rental car to pick up but ended up just walking to the airport terminal upon returning it which was smooth and enjoyable brisk 5-minute walk. All the staff we encountered were polite and professional.

The service I received at Alamo was efficient, fast and professional. Despite it being the holidays. The daily rate was affordable and the process to pick up and drop off my rental was easy and convenient! I will definitely be returning.

Dewit at the return center was phenomenal and so friendly. The wiper fluid was completely out in the car, and after driving to Annapolis and back my windows were annoyingly dirty. He asked if everything went well; I informed him I had to stop and clear off the bugs because of the wiper fluid being out, and he immediately jumped into gear and started offering solutions. Amazing customer service, friendly attitudes, and wonderfully efficient. He even helped me unload my luggage! I come to DC a number of times a year on business and will absolutely rent from Alamo in the future.

Pick up and return of vehicle was quick and all employees that I encountered were professional and courteous.

Return Lane Agent - Jeremy Henderson expeditiously provided rental return information and also provided a quick and easy return.

The DCA Alamo rental operation is one of the best I’ve ever encountered. Seriously, after renting cars across the country for business travel, they are near the top, if not the top. The staff members are helpful, friendly and efficient.

Alamo had our vehicle ready and waiting for us at Reagan Airport in VA. Since they had electronic sign in, our wait to get paper work for the car was less than a minute and we walked right out to our car. The Alamo Representative was kind, courteous and helpful in directing us to our car. Returning the car was a easy as picking it up! Thanks, Alamo!!

Renting from Alamo went smoothly. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The car was new and clean. Th one negative item was that they did not provide an Ice Scraper in the car.

I’ve been using Alamo for many years now as my preferred car rental agency when I visit family and friends and for vacations. Often when I arrive at an airport, other car rental companies have large lines and Alamo never does. They are fast, courteous and responsive. I highly recommend them.

Excellent car rental experience overall. No line at pickup, quick and easy drop off, car itself was in great shape with one exception: no wiper fluid for front windshield.

My rental went fast and smooth. My biggest concern was that because I was arriving in the evening there might not be a car available. To my relief, there were many cars available and I was able to choose from a variety of cars.

Love Alamo! Booking with them is so easy and a breeze to pick-up and return the car. Highly recommend using them for all your rentals.

We had a wonderful experience at Alamo car rental in DC. The staff member was very friendly and efficient processing our car rental. Also the staff member who assigns the cars in the parking was very welcoming and accommodating. The car was in great condition (low milage), clean and comfortable. Overall the experience was very positive and we will consider Alamo for our car rental again!

He made check in easy and even went the the extra mile to assist with traffic and toll information needed for my trip to Fredericksburg. I arrived on time from OAK to DCA on 8/17 at 2200. We sat on tarmac for 2 hours and I ran to get my car before midnight. When I arrived at Alamo counter, I was greeted by 3 very kind men and they immediately reassured me that it's ok and your office stays open until 0200. I would like to particularly call out Derek (sp) who completed my check in and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for my rental. He made every aspect of my experience outstanding!! I also had great service with the two gentlemen that checked us out at the gate. SO kind and thoughtful - particularly at 0100! My daughter goes to college in VA and we are coming from California. We have half a dozen flights a year and because of the outstanding customer experience AND that your office stays open until 0200, I will be certain to only use Alamo moving forward!! I hope Derek and his colleagues hear about this review and know how much their kindness meant to my Mom and me. And that they secured a customer for life!! - Lauren
