Il Radicchio

Came here with my parents for dinner one night and we enjoyed the food. Its a cozy Italian spot in a nice neighborhood.
The Calamari was awesome, I mean we had this as a shared appetizer and it was gone pretty quickly. I had an Italian sausage with pasta for my entree and it was fantastic. Topped it off with a cheesecake for dessert.
Glad I was able to have an enjoyable experience with my visiting parents here, filled the craving for Italian food for sure.

There aren't many places our whole family can agree on, but Il Raddichio fits the bill. The food is great, the service is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is homey. Pizza and pasta dishes are equally good; I highly recommend the gnocci!

Go-to date spot/neighborhood eating out spot! We love this place, the service is always friendly and fast, food is delicious, house wine is solid. Some favorites are the bruschetta, penne pollo, and salsiccia e pepperonata.

Il Radicchio is the best Italian restaurant hands down. It is authentic unlike olive garden. Looks to be a family owned business but that’s what probably made it the best. If you ever go to Arlington/DC GO TO Il RADICCHIO!!

Amazing food, the option to build your own pizza and pasta was perfect for my party as some were vegetarian and some dairy free. Everyone deeply enjoyed their dishes and I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere very pleasant.

Great meals on two occasions when visiting out of town with our family of 5. Cozy downstairs and seating for larger parties outside. Gnocchi, veal piccata, Pollo marsala, Lasanga all wonderful. Lovely desserts, nice wine list. Friendly servers.

Fantastic food! II Radicchio should be a higher rating than 4.5. Their food and service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend the lasagna if you do end up going!

This is “Bottle of red… bottle of white” our Italian restaurant. It is cozy and cheerful, approachable and comfortable. The food is great at a very reasonable price. The service is perfect. We will return again and again 🥰

Great neighborhood Italian place. The pasta is fresh and delicious. You can get unlimited pasta with your sauce, but trust me the portions are generous as is. I've been before and got their pizza which is also delicious. They have tasty house wine too.

The food here is fantastic. We had the bolognese and the roast chicken. Both were excellent. The interior is a bit tired and service was slow, but the food makes up for it. Among the best tiramisus I have ever had. Very happy.

Il Radicchio is our “go to” place for pasta, pizza and great dishes when we are in the D.C. area. Staff and service are outstanding! Cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Good prices and portions. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed the creamy pesto pasta with grilled chicken. Caesar salad was also excellent, I do wish there were more croutons though. The Rosa sauce (the star of the dish) with cheese ravioli was tasty. The kids orecchiette pasta with pomodoro was a hit.

Would recommend this place. The outside patio had perfect weather.

Absolutely delicious pasta and their bread is so tasty. The pepper and sausage pasta and pesto gnocchi are easily one my favorite orders.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The staff is exceptional, the food was amazing, and if you tell them the occasion they'll celebrate with you. I have never liked tiramisu, and this is the best tiramisu I've ever had. Very cozy and has a "small town" feel. We'll be back for sure!

So happy they're back with takeout (May 2020)! Just great Italian "comfort food" that's hearty, very tasty, and elegant in a not-intimidating way. Have enjoyed eating in before, because the dining area has a rustic "Italian Grandma's kitchen" feel - but last trip was takeout because COVID-19. Still excellent! Pictured is a gnocchi & an artichoke ravioli, both with arugula & a mushroom ragu bursting with umami. Can't wait to go back for real, to go crazy with the "Build Your Own" pasta or calzone.

My sister and her husband are regulars here. They love it! I got the veal picata today and it was amazing. The service was a little slow tonight but my sister said it's not usually like this. Everyone is so nice and kind.

A cousin found this place for dinner tonight. The food was amazing!!! Atmosphere was cozy. We had probably 7 dishes across the table and every dish tasted really good. Portion were “normal”. Good wine selection. And pricing was below the average for this area. Win all around!

This place is amazing. I’ve eaten here and ordered takeout, and both experiences were perfect. My favorite is the make your own pasta — I order two sauces, both the Alfredo sauce and the pesto sauce. Both are decadent. Just an FYI—you can’t order cocktails here, only wine, and it is a very low key, laid back restaurant.

Great meal. Hot and great flavor. I really appreciate how hard the staff worked. Place was not too busy when we arrived at 5:00 PM but immediately filled to capacity within 15 minutes. The locals must know something.

Best pizza in the world according to my son and hubby. Also the tiramisu is to die for. Friendly staff.
