Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Capital View

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Robert Walker OPS Manager and Timika Kinsey Front Desk who were on duty the evening of 12 December.
I previously had a reservation at the Renaissance but because of a mix up my reservation was cancelled. Since they were booked we tried your hotel and we were able to get a room. However, all of the booking was through my job I needed a form filled out to take possession of the room. Mr. Walker and Ms. Kinsey were very patient and professional and I must stress patient because my husband and I had just got to the area from Texas and we were extremely tired. The whole process took about 30 minutes because I had to get in contact with my co-worker who booked the reservation. The room and service from your entire staff was definitely worth the wait and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to stay with you again next year!

This is a really nice all-suite hotel about a 15-20 minute walk from Crystal City Metro station, although the hotel runs free shuttles there as well as the airport. There are also public bus stops very close to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and my room was large, clean and well-appointed. Buffet breakfast (complimentary for all guests) was excellent with plenty of choices. Please note though that there is extensive long-term building construction going on adjacent to this hotel as Crystal City is rapidly changing. I was there on the weekend and my room faced away from the construction sites, so I heard zero noise but take note if you'll be there during the week.

Excellent Marriott hotel with friendly customer service. The rooms were clean and had plenty of room. We were upgraded due to status and enjoy our stay over a long weekend getaway. The rooms came with a full kitchen which made it easier with kids. We did not cook but certainly appreciated the availability of a stove, dish washer, microwave and a fridge. The hotel was also a short taxi ride to major DC attractions.

Beautiful hotel! Pictures don’t capture everything! Has its own restaurant and cafe on 2nd floor. Breakfast was great- organic sugars, grass fed butter, etc. Would recommend!

Super close to Reagan airport (DCA) and Arlington National Cemetery. Several other hotels and restaurants in walking distance. Ubers always within 4 min away. This hotel is attached to the Renaissance with a conference center connecting them. Very nice stay except for the loud construction noise starting at 6 am!

Kitchen is bareboned but fully equipped. There is a Lidl 500 yards/meters away. Cheap, good quality like Aldi.

Nice amenities. Save some money and use a laundromat.

I made Birria style taco rice and bowtie pasta with carbonara. Made the Italian sausage and ground the chuck myself.

They offer a complimentary shuttle service to the airport, which is just minutes away, taking a huge load off my mind regarding travel logistics. This hassle-free access to the airport adds to the relaxed experience of staying here.

Moreover, the hotel is well-connected to other transportation systems, making it easy to zip into the city for meetings or sightseeing. The short distance to the Crystal City Metro Station means you can be in downtown D.C. within minutes, enjoying all the capital has to offer.

The staff at Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Capital View deserves a shoutout as well. They were helpful, ensuring that the shuttle service was prompt and my travel plans within the city were seamless.

In conclusion, for the budget-conscious traveler who also values comfort and convenience, this hotel is a winner. It's perfect for both short layovers and longer stays, with its wallet-friendly pricing and stellar location near DCA airport. Great location with spectacular views of the airport and DC transportation systems overall. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport, and although the planes are clearly visible from the property, we did not experience any noise pollution. The hotel shares parking space in a nearby garage with another adjacent hotel property, but parking is easy in and out with an elevator that goes directly to the Residence Inn.

Very friendly and attentive staff from check in desk, dining room workers, shuttle drivers and other support staff. Highly recommend- great location and safe area.

Great renovated and clean room, good service, breakfast was standard fare. The airport shuttle was timely and made staying here easy.

We were so happy with this hotel we stayed here twice. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast bar is good and something we looked forward to in the mornings. Staff was very helpful and even let us store our luggage for a few days while we went on domestic travel before an international flight. Recommended!

Note: As of time of writing, there is currently some construction going on next to the hotel, so if you are a light sleeper and/or not an early riser you may want to ask for a room facing away from the construction site. They start at about 7am, and you can definitely hear it.

Service was wonderful, breakfast was good.
I do suggest bringing your own nonstick pans because theirs suck so bad! But having a kitchenette in your room is amazing and helps you save money. I loved the quiet atmosphere!

I really enjoyed my short stay here. The room was very comfortable and close enough to the airport. Free breakfast and great staff!

Great hotel to stay when visiting the DC and surrounding areas. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Beautiful and clean. Very well priced. Would stay again.

Great location if you don't have a car. It's $44 a night to park. You get a free shuttle to the airport and the train metro. Construction is right across the street and will be going on for at least a year. I love the room with the 2 king beds.

I’d say ignore the 3-star rating. This was a great stay. The hotel is in an obscure area, meaning more corporate buildings around than anything else. It is near the bus line. We found the Harris Teeter (grocery store) in walking distance. The staff was friendly. The room were clean. The beds (king size) were comfortable. Breakfast is available, as well as shuttle pickup to/fro the airport. Shuttle pickup/dropoff is available to the nearest train line. All in all…convenience is afforded. Great stay!

Very nice hotel with a lot of perks. I would recommend anyone stay here. I stayed on the 14th floor in mid March for 14 days. My room was clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet (except for the doors in the hallway that slam shut loudly). There was a large bathroom, sink, toilet and bath tub/shower area. The rest of the room consisted of a king size bed sleeping area with a large tv and a living room area with couch and chair. There was also a desk area with two chairs. The kitchen was bigger than I expected with a full refrigerator, electric stove top, microwave, full sink and a dishwasher. Some of the furniture in the room was showing signs of wear (chipped paint, fraying upholstery) but it wasn't a big deal. I had rented a car for a couple of days, which was electric and parked it on the street most of the time because the hotel garage parking was very expensive ($44 per day). There are a couple of EV charging stations in the garage and also one for Tesla. The free breakfast was surprisingly good. It is not an ordinary continental breakfast and well worth the price of the hotel just for the free breakfast. Real scrambled eggs, pancakes, meat choice, oatmeal, toast, bagels, cereals, waffle maker, etc. There is a very well outfitted fitness center and card operated laundry on the 3rd floor. The laundry is $3 for washing, etc. and proved to be cheaper than the closest laundromat. The hotel is located in a very walkable area. Close to the Crystal City metro, shops, restaurants and groceries. The only issue I had was there is no free parking anywhere in Crystal City and the large construction going on right next door to the hotel. It was loud each day but not after 5pm. It's a very nice hotel if you can afford it.

This hotel really surprised me! It was beautiful and felt a bit luxurious. Our room was clean and very comfortable.
The front desk staff and shuttle driver were all friendly and kind. I would definitely stay there again!
