Best Western Springfield

Honestly I am surprised how much I liked this place, they had breakfast from 7am till 9am !! They had a lot to choose from! From waffles to eggs and bacon even potatoes, cereal and yogurt !! I’ve gone to a couple hotels and this one truly has more to pick from! Front desk lady was super sweet and helpful! Called me when my DoorDash arrived ! The room was clean and had a refrigerator! I don’t see why there are so many comments saying the rooms don’t have one when they do! We needed a room on the first floor and they got us what we asked for! Only stayed for a night.

This is a very good place to stay at if you’re planning to visit the Capital.
It’s in a location that’s quiet but not far from the national mall and you get a very good view of the trees and highways, and even though it looks slightly run down from the outside, the inside is perfectly fine.
You get a small fitness center, a pool and 6 floors to walk around. The breakfast is amazing and hot and there are tons of options to choose from especially if you have food allergies or preferences.
The rooms are clean and have lots of commodities.
Parking is slightly limited but when I went it wasn’t packed and the lot was mostly empty.
This hotel is only 2 stars but there are so so many great things it has to offer.
An amazing option if you’re planning to limit your budget and get some good sleep and lots of energy for your day ahead at the capital.

Although located away from Arlington or DC downtown areas, their service and atmosphere are remarkable. No wonder why school trips, business corporates and Churches pick this hotel in particular for their business or tourists' visits to the area.
The towels are clean, the rooms are neat and have a very nice perfume smell. Their A/C units are rather old, but the staff are ready to work out an instant solution if your A/C has an issue.

It was similar to a holiday inn. Everything was descent. The breakfast was good. The price for me was the best. Plus they match my status to my other hotel status. This location is undergoing construction so it should be nice and modern feeling. It's a handy location to get to and leave from with various food options around.

They have completely remodeled their lobby. One word - WOW!!!

Rooms are renovated and very nice. Common areas are clean. Breakfast was great. They were renovating the lobby at time of my visit.

I previously left a scathing review, below, due to the attitudes of certain receptionists that ruined my stay in the past.
I'm changing that review to 5 stars because the receptionist, Joann, made us feel welcome and accommodated at every step. Checking in was a smooth and pleasant process and for the first time I felt welcomed here.

The first visit here, my room had a fridge. The second visit, no fridge!
The receptionist lied to my face and said "You didn't get a fridge because you're only staying for 1 night. We mostly provide fridges for people who stay 2 or more nights". I was only booked for 1 night the previous time, liar.
Moreover, I was permitted to check out as late as 1pm the first stay. The second stay guess what they said "12pm is the latest that anyone can check out".
I don't know what to expect if I were ever to stay here again.

I have more to add: two of my coworkers were here the same night as me during my second stay. I was told "12pm is the latest that anyone can check out" but they were allowed to check out at 1pm. The said the week before they were able to check out at 3pm! I wasn't rude to any of the receptionists even while I was being lied to. Maybe they're just bi-polar?

Friendly staff; especially at front desk. Clean and well organized room with small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good size flat screen TV. Room location quiet; near pool with nice landscape view. Great breakfast! Location of hotel was perfect. Easy to find.

Room was clean and neat. It did show its age a bit. However, the price was terrific for one night, travel through. A few chips in the paint, were no big deal.
Continental breakfast was awesome with a tremendous variety of breakfast items. The ladies there helping with the food did an excellent job I cannot recommend this place more highly. My son is moving into the area and we drove straight through from Indiana to Alexandria Virginia we needed a place to rest and this was it. Although we did not use the swimming pool it was clean and everything about this hotel recommends it. What I want to stay in this location for a two-week vacation this close to the highway probably not but we did not hear the road at all in our room was pretty much right against.
Five stars for cleanliness five stars for friendliness of the staff five stars for the continental breakfast five stars for the swimming pool there really can't go wrong with this place

Rhe hotel was cool. They had breakfast, not bad. They were under construction, and it made itna little ruff, to enter and leave. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was awesome. I look forward, to coming back. The staff was nice as well.

Desk attendants and housekeeping do not seem to communicate at all. You ask the cleaning people for something and they send you to the desk, then the desk attendants send you back to the cleaning people. Also, I'm not sure why, but the vending and ice are every other floor. You got drinks at B/breakfast level, then ice on the 1st floor, then snacks on the second, then back to ice on the third, and snacks at 4. I stayed on the 4th floor so idk what is above. Pool is SUPER clean and lifeguard attended, but the hours are exceptionally short.

everyone was very friendly, helpful and professional. The continental breakfast was great! They had a bag of snacks and water in my room as well which was nice to see. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. I didn't have time for the gym but they do have one there. they also have wifi. Overall a great stay!

Extremely and helpful front desk. Huge spread for breakfast buffet and all food is very good. Very quiet hotel in a busy location. Easy access to all Washington has to offer. Great value for staying in DC area.

The Best Western Springfield was definitely a comfortable place to stay. It was one of the most cleanest hotels I've stayed at. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. And all the employees that I encountered were very pleasant, courteous and helpful. It was our halfway point when we were on vacation. It was great for the night and perfect location to the national harbor. We liked it so much that at the end of our vacation we stayed there again and used the pool for the day just to relax before continuing our drive home the next day. the breakfast was perfect and had yogurt and fruit and oatmeal if you didn't want to have eggs or pancakes or waffles or any of the other things that were offered.

For the price, this is a great hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a free hot breakfast, with coffee and juice machines 24 hrs/day. I loved that the floors in the room were not carpet. It just felt cleaner. You can tell they have been updating, and not everything has been updated. My bathroom door was clearly very old, and did not shut all the way, but that didn't really bother me any. I had read a review about the difficulty finding the office when you first get there, and I still had to look for it, but I came in the middle of the night. It's right in front of you when you pull in, and there is a tiny sign on the outside of the building. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay. It's less than an hour Metro ride to DC, and I saved myself about $350 by staying here and riding in for my conference. For the area, the price was totally worth it.

Completely remodeled not happy about the $100 deposit they have always required because it takes weeks to get back and the rooms are a lot smaller now but the beds pillows linens TV everything in the room is GREAT and the price is very reasonable for the area and THEY PUT IN A BEAUTIFUL POOL THATS OPEN UNLIKE ALL THE OTHER CHOICE HOTELS such as the Comfort Inn and Suites and Quality Inn ,Extended Stay America's, Wydhams such as Days Inn and Wingate and Red Roof Inn plus & Suites that i have been living in for the past year nearly. Also BIGGEST PERK IS THE ENORMOUS AND WONDERFUL BREAKFAST THAT THEY SERVED BEFORE REMODEL AND NOW IS EVEN BETTER!!

Room was really nice, and we highly enjoyed our stay.
Well located, outside Washington DC, it only take about 20 minutes to reach the Pentagon area, or the Lincoln Memorial to start a nice "tourist day".
The staff was also very nice, polite, and helpful when it came to provide some tips on how to reach DC, where to park, what to visit etc...

Shout out to Janine and John! This is a hotel that cares about their customers, will take their time to help them. I forgot my toiletries, they made sure I got what I was missing. Advised me where to get food, took the time to chat with me. The am personel was kind too, did not askt their name. Their breakfast is good, the rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean.

This facility is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and any request we had (which wasn't much) was handled quickly and efficiently. The front desk was very friendly and speedy w/ check in and we had the express checkout. Will definitely stay again!!

This hotel has great breakfast. Vundee works the breakfast room and she is so wonderful. The front desk staff are great too. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Movie channels on TV. The metro is about a mile away. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.
