Chutzpah Deli

New favorite spot with a diner vibe with delicious NY bagels and so much more! The menu has a good variety of deli foods to choose from. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of free parking.

Crystal was absolutely amazing! Same with the other waitresses that helped her out today! They were all amazing and very helpful and quick with our orders and everything that we needed today. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone and you should request Crystal because she was so great, friendly and attentive to us!
Great food, great place! I'll definitely visit again someday if I am traveling through again!

My family and I have been wanting to check out Chutzpah Jewish New York Deli and yesterday we finally made it. Check out the sandwich I got: hot corned beef, pastrami, swiss cheese with a potato latke in the middle, topped with creamy spicy mustard on rye bread. For dessert we had creamy egg creams. Everything was delicious 😋 We can't wait for next time!

It’s pretty sad that as somebody living in NYC that I found a better Jewish style deli in Northern Virginia than I can get at home. But regardless, I’ve wanted to come yo Chutzpah Deli after seeing so many good reviews.

I was in the mood for eggs but knew I needed to try some of their deli. Good thing for me is that they offer scrambles with deli meats. I got the pastrami and eggs, which was an excellent dish. The way they make their eggs is somewhat unique and pairs well with the pastrami.

We also got turkey and brisket sandwiches. They use real fresh roasted turkey here which is definitely uncommon but makes all the difference. I wish this place was near me growing up - I used to have turkey sandwiches everyday as a kid and this turkey would have made a major upgrade to my school time lunches.

They also start you off with some pickles and coleslaw, both nice starts to the meal. I know they get their bagels brought in from Queens, NY each week but they’re not really anything special. But I didn’t come here for the bagel so I don’t really care.

I would like to try some of their other dishes but it’s hard to not get some kind of deli based meal here. I’ll need to try it vicariously through somebody else I suppose.

Nice going to a NY Style deli and sit down to eat. They also have carryout area. Plates are big. Food is delicious. Service great. Family loved the food. Some ate soup and sandwich. I had a salad w salmon. They have bagels w lox. Smoked fish. Great menu. Weekdays less people.

Love this authentic NY style deli. Top quality, friendly service, delicious large sandwiches always done right. The fries, sweet potato fries are wonderful with a cinnamon sugar dust, super. Of course the complimentary slaw and pickle is a fav.

Some of the tastiest sandwiches that I've had in NoVa! Sure, they're a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and what you get here are huge sandwiches that are incredibly delicious and will challenge anyone to eat them all in one sitting. The Ruben is one of the best Rubens I've ever had, and the onion rings are the best at a non-fast food restaurant I've ever had. The soups are chocked full of vegetables and meats and noodles, just wholesome and delicious. Definitely stop by for a soup and sandwich for lunch!

A deli with a huge menu that has a great New York style options. If you are from NY or just want to try NY style and live or are visiting Fairfax VA, you should try this place for breakfast or lunch. When I visited, it wasn't crowded but it got crowded really fast. It is a place that has been around for a while so a lot of locals go there. I had a breakfast bagel sandwich and it was super good. I will come back for lunch to try other very interesting items like the 40 oz ruben sandwich, or matzol ball soup, and so much more. By the way, don't ask for Mayo!

I really felt like I was back in NYC, at a deli. Menu is so big, you are sure to find something you like.... that said, I still wish they had plant milks for coffee, a few vegan options would be nice to add. Hope to come back often... Oy gevalt! Next time I will try a knish!

Growing up near NYC, the food here reminds me of the Jewish delis that lined the city. Friendly staff start you off with a pickle and slaw. The meal prices are in the mid-teens, but it's a struggle to finish when the deli-meat is taller than the thick toast. The fries are finger-thick and remind me of Nathan's. Don't forget the fist-size Matzo ball soup.

Authentic New York style Jewish deli in VA! Great bagels, pastrami and lox. Our server, Crystal, was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Just stopped in today for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel , and it was so good I couldn’t help but share (fresh New York bagel toasted with mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon cooked to perfection and I had my egg over hard(I was driving)) But you have it your way! I will also note that friends come to visit me from NYC and always bring up going here for great lunch sandwiches, my favorite being the “Moishe” (Reuben’s brother)

Fantastic breakfasts. Always more than you can eat in one sitting, you're golden through to dinnertime!! Great combos, bagels, corned beef, anything that you could ask for from a great NY deli (plus black and whites!)

Make sure to ask for the pickles with your meal !

Have been coming here for years, a hidden gem and always a treat.

Been coming here for a while. Portion size is very good and the food is great. Prices are comparable to the portion of food you receive. Always get the corned beef and my wife gets the matzo ball soup and it is so good. Sad that it is open only until 5pm but we always leave satisfied.

We had a wonderful time and a great experience. The staff insisted we move from a booth to an expanded table because of the size of our group. Our waitress, Crystal, was amazing. The entire staff was wonderful and very helpful. Thanks to all. The Berg family.

Found in Fairfax Virginia of all places, owner Eric knows the good food from Your Old Village. Reasonably priced, with a sweet moving vibe from the counter on into the store and sit-down area. Not a worry… You’ll soon know what it is you have been missing.

For me? Was going on multiple DECADES, then dang I am right up pleased to have found ‘mine’ once again! {Awake or asleep? Call your own — just not woke!}

Epic and comprehensive Jewish deli nestled in Fairfax County, Virginia's suburbs. Everything you could want from borscht to bagels to bialys can be found here! One of the few restaurants in the area that has Dr. Brown's Cream Soda as a default beverage on their menu. There is just so much to love about this little eatery. Even as I write my review now I'm eagerly awaiting a meal of bagels and lox, potato knish, veal parmesan, egg noodles, garlic spinach, and perhaps something equally delightful for dessert. I'm almost overflowing with excitement and anticipation! Everyone should try to have some Chuzpah in their life!

Tonight’s carry out dinner is from a real New York Deli - ovah here: 2 Combo Reubens, The Miser (smoke knockwurst w/Chutzpah onions), Chicken Noodle Soup, hand-cut fries, Potato Knish. Of course I shared. Very satisfying!
