Bay Bridge Aquarium

I had been looking everywhere for two SA puffer fish to add to my new tank with the one I had already. Literally Bay bridge aquarium was the only place that had them in stock. When I emailed the shop to be sure they had the puffers in stock the Michael responded with the minute to confirm they did have them. He let me know that since I was ordering on a Friday the fish would ship out Monday arriving to Me on Tuesday. I had never ordered live animals before, so I was very nervous about the process especially shipping to LA County coming from Oakland, CA. Delivery was fast and accurate, & much to my surprise the fish arrived unscathed. The packaging was amazing, they were 5 x bagged, and special solution was added to the water to keep the little guys calm on transport. The box also had plenty of styrofoam to keep them cushioned. I’ve had them for over a month now and they are growing and getting along very well in their new home with their big brother. I definitely give Bay Bridge a 10/10 for customer service, beautiful healthy fish, delivery time, and great prices.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly - Steve and Finn were super helpful. The entrance to the building itself is a little hard to find due to lack of signage, but they have a large selection of fish, shrimp, snails and all the things you might need for an aquarium. This is a no frills shop where everyone seems to have a passion for the life aquatic. I highly recommend you stop in for a visit.

I’ve been through a whole ordeal trying to get my hands on some Otocinclus cats from other places before this, and I am so very glad I chose this store this time! When FedEx acted up and delayed my shipment, Michael and his staff went above and beyond to make sure it got to me ASAP. The Otos arrived safe and sound and lively as can be! They were packaged very securely, and the price was very reasonable. Michael had also reached out to me directly about scheduling this delivery beforehand to safeguard against the fish languishing in a warehouse overlong; I greatly appreciated not only his impeccable customer service but also the care he showed for these little innocents. You won’t regret buying livestock from here!

So I have only dealt with them online and they have outstanding customer service. They went the extra mile with packaging and include instructions and everything you need. My order was delayed and it needed to be refrigerated as stated on the products website. They assured me it would be fine and even went as far to look up the weather in the area and where the package was at. That is dedication to customer service. Thank you. I will be shopping with them again.

Went in for my first time today and the selection was awesome! Staff showed me around at the various products and livestock. They keep some hard to find livestock which is awesome along with products at various price points. The new UNS AIO were fully loaded and looked great. Plant selection was healthy and reasonably priced (especially for some buce pieces).

I ordered the Fritz ultimate 900 Turbo/QT kit from them. Sadly they were out of stock on the Fritz complete water conditioner so they subbed out seachem prime as a replacement. I received an apology letter stating they were out of stock. Bay Bridge Aquarium is awesome in taking care of the needs of a customer and making sure they aren't left out or just canceling orders until stock is back in. Would rater higher if I had more stars!!!!

Super awesome with a wide variety of fish and products. Totally a one stop shop for freshwater aquariums. They also have a big variety of products for salt water as well, but as of now I didn't see any live coral or salt water fish for sale. THAT BEING SAID. They had a HUGE variety of very healthy plants and some live cultures as well. Any fish food, medicine, water adjustment, fertilizer, bacteria, substrate, tanks, tank stands, hard scape, lighting, heating, nets, gravel vacs....just anything. If you need it go here. If they don't have it I bet they'll fix that for you. The fish themselves all looked very healthy as did the shrimp (neos and filter feeders! And they have shrimp king and shrimp food!).

I couldn't be more pleased to find this place.

We are first-time fish owners and have found this store (staff, fish, supplies) absolutely amazing. They clearly care about their fish and their customers. We’ve had beginner / new tank problems and have come back a few times for help. Mike the owner and his staff always knowledgeable and always helpful!

They've never sold me a sick or diseased fish. While the experience amongst their staff varies, I've always found them helpful when I visit.

I picked up a few very large schools and haven't lost a single fish after two months. The staff is super friendly. It'll be great when they're done setting up the shop. It was a little hard to find, they're within a small gated parking lot.

The Best place to buy Quality tropical Fish at very fair prices in the East Bay if not the Bay Area. The staff is knowledgeable as well.

Best fish store ever! I didn’t what to support a chain business like Petco and instead of more local one so we searched this place and they have amazing service especially one person Amy! She’s so helpful and nice go to them!!!

A lot of different types of fish and large fish tanks that they're in and it's very beautiful in there. The owners or shall I say the workers in there are attentive and quick to see if you have any questions that they can answer. Very friendly atmosphere kind of dark in there like you're at the steinhart aquarium which brings out The beauty of the tanks that are lit up electricity clearly the fist that in there on sale.

Staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Some products were very expensive compared to other aquarium stores though. Apart from that, they had a good selection of aquarium plants, bettas, and decorations for your tank.

I love Bay Bridge Aquariums so much!!! I ordered nitrifying bacteria a few weeks back and the delivery kept getting reschedule which is fine. It finally said it was delivered but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I reached out to Michael Wand and asked him if he could help out and he was AMAZING. He contacted the driver, he found where exactly it was delivered (it was sent to the wrong apartment). He then had another bottle of bacteria sent out to me, even though it was an issue with delivery and not the product, and gave special instructions to have it delivered correctly. He responded to my emails super quickly, even late at night, and was super kind, even when I was a little bit rude. I’m so sorry Michael I was frustrated!!! Thank you so much. I cannot recommend enough!!!!!

This place has become my go-to ever since the little fish shop in Pleasant Hill close a year ago. Great plants, prices, knowledge, and supplies. Literally everything you could ask for from a local aquarium shop. They also have some reptile supplies as well which I have not used but looks pretty cool

The selection of, well everything is fantastic. I stopped by today just to take a looksy before they closed. All the fish and plants were so colorful and healthy. Even saw some species I never knew existed. Michael ordered two kribs for me on the spot. The care and passion put into the store does not go un noticed! Extra: some of the koi betta they had were so beautiful, I almost want to start another 10 gallon mini scape just so I can have one!

Bay Bridge Aquarium is well stocked with high-quality, well priced solutions for any aquarium need I have ever had with my planted aquarium. Also, if not most importantly, I have always been extremely impressed with the support, professionalism and experience of Amy.
