Foothill Square Shopping Center

I love this shopping center at Foothill Square!

The ROSS here is so much better than the one in The City at Market & 4th Streets.

There was a line of approximately 300 people when I took a fellow veteran to buy some shoes there. Only 5 registers open, 50 security guards standing around doing nothing, no wonder people steal the stuff here! I called a manager over, handed her the shoes and told her I was posting the deplorable conditions here on Google!

Spend less on “security” and hire more cashiers!

Went to Footlocker and got the veteran his shoes!

The ROSS at Foothill Square was cleaner, better stocked and even with about a hundred people in line to pay for their items, it only took 13 minutes to get to the cashier!

That is great customer service!!!

This shopping center has a convenient location and good stores. There's even a bingo Hall open during the week. Foodsco has the longest lines because of three cashiers, sometimes there's 4 of them.

Doesn't have too many stores, but they have all you need...clothing, wash house, a cleaners, a bank, Chinese food and fast food and a grocery store. You can even play bingo here!

It's a nice quiet place to look around and buy a few things. In the back there's a family clinic center, there's a grocery store, a beauty place, Ross, Carl's JR, I think a Wells Fargo, a Shoe shop and other things as well.

I get there at 8:30 / 9:00 am . So I can take my time . Love Ross

I have honestly never shopped here. But, my roommate brought me here to play Bingo. It was a Friday evening. The bingo hall was all the way to the back of the parking lot on the left hand side.
I won $2000 that night! WOOO HOOO!

Both Foods Co. & Carl's Jr 🍔 have become Staples for me via my living area of Foothill ⬛ and 10-8th Ave.👍✊💪

Great location, well lit at night and a good mix of shops old and new. Happy to see some of the old business with new buildings and thriving! A nice Ross too! Of course, bingo is always fun!

The best shopping area in Oakland, CA

Love the Chinese food. Wash house kept up. Dry cleaner's staff nice. The hiring of cashiers at Foodco has increased greatly. Yes! Thank you for reducing those amusement park lines at your grocery store. I like shopping there again.

Now that gas prices are Hi way Robbery! I plan my driving according to Google Maps, and Items are not over priced, lines aren't long. If your in a hurry or looking for a deal Foothill Square is the place.

I mainly shop at the foodco store. For the best deals I can find on healthy and organic foods. Trying to feed my family healthier food. Always have great cashier. When my card did something funny. The cashier was very patient and let me step aside to handle it with my bank. When I resolved it she gave me some free bags for the hassle. If you download the app they always have a free item every Friday. And they take coupons for my couple people other there.

It's my first time be in this place(I come from Concord, CA.) but I'm really glad to went there because they have a different stores kaind's, all in one place. So I chose Foods CO and my experience there was excellent with the associates attention, variety of foods, beverages and all groceries. Excellent prices and parking lot is a big plus!

FoodCo. Almost as good as WinCo. It's nice to see a grocery store with prices, hands down, lower than their local competitors. Your money goes much farther here than it will at just about any other grocery store in the area. That's the good news.

The not-so-good, are their lines. I'd say that, lines are an indicator of their low prices, and that they come with the territory. But they -do- have the correct number of POS (points of sale) checkouts. It's just that rarely are more than 4 lanes of checkouts manned.

Upper management might think they are saving a few bucks by not having to pay for another cashier's wages, but I know I'm not the only one who has ever walked in, saw the ridiculously long lines, and determined that the higher prices of Safeway were worth the convenience of not having to wait in that mess.

FoodsCo is a terrific supermarket for the big monthly shopping. The prices are as low as they go. It's a huge store, they have a great selection of standard items, and a great selection of sale items. Every couple of months they will have Challenge Butter for $2.00 or $2.50 a pound! As someone who loves to bake, the second best butter around at this unheard of price...Let's bake some oat cookies! The location is a bit of a jaunt for me, but for the selection, the variety, the prices, the friendly staff, and the low, low prices, it's worth a 20 minute drive every month or two. I've found a lost item: frozen Italian Green Beans here, I grew up on these and have not seen them in over 30 years, but they have them here -- I even took several bags of them to my sister. Surprisingly, the beef and pork here are really, really good. I've had more than one melt in your mouth Rib Eye steak, Rib Roasts and other cuts that made some very special meals. One downside is that I often have to trek back into the parking lot for a cart, and the store is BIG!

I highly recommend FoodsCo market!

Food Co is the place but lines are way to long , make sure you eat before you go 😁

Young’s Cleaners is phenomenal. Priced fairly, super nice people, and they do a wonderful job with my clothes. Even got a pair of jeans fixed!
