Jade Palace Restaurant

No MSG here. Each dish I ate had its own flavor and its own style. I did take out and it was still hot by the time I got home. This is the only place I found that puts vegetables in with their chicken chow fun yummy. Shout out to Susan from "no green onions". Picture 1 is chicken chow fun, picture 2 is house fried rice, picture 3 is Kung Pao chicken.

Ordered the Jade Palace chow fun and this was very flavorful. Lots of veggies and an explosion of meats! You gotta try it!

Stopped by here on a craving for some soup. I was greeted right away, by I'm guessing the owner who was very nice. Asking me how my day was & how he could help me. I got an order of the war wonton soup & fried wontons. It came out to be $14 for the entire order, I thought that was really good considering the soup was huge and there were at least 15 large fried wontons. The soup was delicious and not skimpy either, there was a ton of meat, shrimp & wontons. The fried wontons w ere perfect and came with a huge side of sauce. He was even packed me a tea bag, soy sauce & fortune cookies without me even asking. I would go here again.

We were looking for a new place and stumbled upon this place based on reviews. The food was delicious and the customer service was amazing. We talked and laughed with the owner/staff our entire meal. We will be dining there again.

Great food and portions! Not much room to eat in the lobby but do to covid I don't think they would encourage it anyway. Great place for take out!

I really enjoyed the food and company. I found authentic Chinese cuisine you won’t find anywhere else. Example is “Black mushroom beef”.

I’m new to the area and tried a few Asian restaurants until I found Jade Palace, now I don’t go anywhere else. The service is great, and like a lot of small family owned restaurants the food is excellent. I highly recommend it!

I ordered food from here last Sunday and the owner was so freaking nice. He was so pleasant to interact and conversate with. Took good care of my food and it was delicious. My only suggestion is the sweet and sour chicken could use more flavor lol. Over than that amazing!

I have been a customer for at least 20 years, probably more. The food is consistently good! They are the only restraint I have found in the area to offer a choice of crispy or pan fried noodles for the chow mien. I grew up across the bay on crispy noodle chow mien so I was very happy to find Jade Palace. The staff is always friendly and efficient. If you dine in, they remember you when you next visit. I love the food.

Best food in town. Been in business for more than 40 years now. My favorite since childhood. Great place to call for catering too ! They always do an awesome job ! If you need a quick bite or a feast for your group Jade Palace is the place to go. You can even set up a weekly meal plan with them and just pick up on your way home. They deliver too ! Awesome !!

Love their wonton soup! Everything I've had has been delicious! Fried prawns, every type of fried rice and chow mein are always really good. I love that the lemon sauce for their lemon chicken comes in a separate container when ordering to go so it is crispy and not soggy. The service is excellent and they are the nicest family. I love that everytime I go there I see people I know eating there too. Highly recommended!

Love the food. It tastes great very good old school Chinese food.

The food was good, but the customer service and the guys running were awesome. I had the best time drinking tea and watching the hockey game. Nice break after a long day at work. I recomend the place. Looking forward to going there again.

Going to be back regularly, and the food is so affordable, it borders on a steal ! Been here 49 years apparently, so it is beloved fixture of Newark !

Have been going here for many years. Family owned. Fun to talk to the staff. Home away from home atmosphere and bargain prices especially at lunch. Not a flashy place as the food is the focus. Enjoy!

My wife and I love all of their food, especially their honey walnut shrimp! Best in the bay area no doubt.

While working on a project at Newark Jr high a couple of summers ago I noticed that
Jade Palace was still in business. As a teenager growing up in Union City in the early 80s I had heard of the excellent food and friendly family at the restaurant. I was not disappointed and always return when working in the area.

My family and I have been eating here for as long as I can remember. My godmother Susan's family own's this restaurant and I grew up eating here all of the time and I just love their food. The prawns are my favorite!

Excellent food and service, I am very picky when it comes to new chines food places but my family and I were in Newark and found this place close by. We Love it!! I work close by too so I will be a regular!
