Gregory's Gourmet Desserts

Small shop that serves really good desserts. Cookies were good after a few seconds in the microwave to warm them up. Looking forward to eventually trying everything.

I’d walked past the basement before but it was closed so when I visited my friend I asked her if we could go. There was a little line because they only let a couple people in at a time but it moved very quickly. The Space is pretty small but it’s not too cramped. Don’t grab what you want to get but wait for the person helping you to retrieve your items. The person who helped us was very helpful and patient. I got a blueberry and cream cheese “scone” (more of a turnover or hand pie) and the apple streusel cheesecake. My friend got the sweet potato cake but she sometimes gets the carrot cake. The blueberry thing was really nice but I think the cream cheese was sweetened and I think it’s would have been fine just relying on the blueberry mixture for sweetness. Loved the cheesecake! Very smooth and creamy and not overpowered by the apple l. Though there might have been too much streusel topping

Super cool spot for all your dessert needs! I got the Key Lime Pie and was blown away! My fiancé got the peach cobbler cheesecake and neither of us talked while eating so that’s when you know it’s good!!

Got a slice of red velvet cake and carrot cake today. The carrot cake was top tier. The red velvet is very good, but a bit dense for me. I’ve also had a cookie and slice of cheesecake in the past, and they were damn good.

The store has great hours—particularly because everything in Oakland closes so early and/or is only open half the week.

Overall: Great selection, high quality options, and friendly staff.

Gregory’s has the yummiest Banana pudding. The chorizo pie is solid as well. Almost everything is amazing At Gregory’s but my favorite has to be the RED VELVET cupcake. The staff is super friendly as well. It’s hard not to get addicted to this amazing Oakland gem and the pricing is just perfect.

Little hole in the wall but the Peach cobbler cheese cake was DELICIOUS! The cookies are soft in the middle, can't wait to try them! Glad we stopped by and will be back.

4.7 stars is too low for this place. Everything I have ever gotten here has been incredibly tasty but their key lime pie is absolute magic. Amazing flavors and textures. This place is an absolute gem.

Everything I've had from here has been absolutely delicious! It's a must stop any time we are in town. Their cheesecakes of the day are creative and so yummy.

The caramel pecan cheesecake is divine

Come here for your cookie craving, you won't be disappointed! They are very fairly priced. The combinations of ingredients are not too 'typical'. They have a Dark Choc/Sea Salt/Almond cookie that's to die for, and it's not too sweet that your dentist will nag you over. In the picture is half doz of the forementioned, and half doz choc chip. TOTALLY worth it.
They have a sign out front, but the bakery is in the basement. Don't pass this place up looking for a glass storefront. Look for steps leading down.

The peach cobbler cheesecake will change your life. Top 3 dessert, coming from a cheesecake connoisseur.

This is my boyfriend’s and I’s favorite dessert place. We order atleast 2x a week that’s how good this place is. the cookies fire.

Every dessert there is delicious! Great assortment of cookies, cakes, pies and cheesecakes!

The cakes are moist, good portions and great flavor. The cobblers - especially the blackberry and the peach - are amazing and the best in the east bay.

Everything tastes like it was made with love.

Ok, we yelped for a dessert place after having lunch and this place came up. When we arrived, we realised what the deal was - this was no ordinary cafe - it wasn't a cafe!!! It's an amazing bakery!!! You buy and you take it to go. Lovely desserts - first come first serve so his best cobblers are gone by morning time and he shuts at 4. However, we didn't get sad, we bought a sweet potato carrot cake and a lemon cheesecake - both were delishhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and the guy is super friendly. Need my Gregory's fix ASAP!!!

I love supporting local businesses. And spending my money at places that really take pride in there establishments and have good customer service. Gregory's has all that and more. It's been about 8 years or so that i was introduced to this wonderful little gem. When you walk in there are SO many options and more. Just not dessert but other good tasty treats. And if you have the chance to meet Greg himself he's such a warm kind spirited man. If your not sure what to try just ask the workers there or the few locals that may stroll in to get there fix of some Gregory's. If I could stop by every day I think I would (smile). The pictures I posted don't do it justice as to how good and big the cinnabon is....

DELICIOUS. A friend told me about this spot, and I’m addicted. I’m basically tasting my way through the whole menu. Carrot cake, red velvet, sweet potato cake, pineapple upside down cake....more to come!

Everything here tastes so delicious! Definitely worth a stop for the red velvet cake.

i have only tried your key lime pie, it is PERFECT and deserves the 5 starts!!

My family been baking for 30+ years on the east coast and I can attest these desserts are fire. I’ve had the cookies, cheesecakes and cobbler. They are a little sweet, but that’s how Americans take dessert. The cobbler is especially fire. Warm it and top with vanilla bean ice cream and you’ve got a real treat.

First time there and enjoyed I was able to test taste the peach cobbler and it was very good!
