Marina Park

The marina is a serene oasis. 🌅 I frequent it for tranquil walks—peaceful, beautiful, and utterly relaxing. The breathtaking reflection of the sky in the water adds to the calm ambiance, while the occasional planes soaring overhead provide a soothing spectacle. ✈🚶‍♂I love coming for solo walks and with friends to walk and talk, enjoy nature and get some steps in. Nice and quiet place for my Betty to run around away from the sound of traffic. Instead there's only the hint of water lapping at the nearby rocks. plenty of sun or shade, depending on how you feel. 5 stars all day long.

I come here sometimes and take a walk. This park is beautiful and very relaxing. My dogs like it too. It's hard to find parking on weekends. It gets so packed. So be mindful you may have circle around to find parking. I just park further and walk to the park which works for me too. :))

Beautiful ocean front view. Nice 2 mile walking path. Big and small kid friendly friendly playgrounds. They're is plenty of barbecue grills for cookouts. The restrooms are always clean. Space to run for fur babies.

My go-to when I want to go for a walk with my dogs. Many people bring their fur babies for a leisure stroll around the park. There is even a Dog Park nearby. There is so much to see and do here. There are playgrounds for children, a volleyball ball court, barbecue pits and benches if you chose to celebrate an occasion or just have a family picnic. There are exercise machines if you want to work out.
I truly love the place being near the water.. I find it very relaxing.

This pleasant park is a gem in the East Bay....don't be surprised if you cannot locate parking since it has so much for all ages. Never ending Walking, biking, skating trails, playgrounds for every age group and plenty of grassy areas to play...be forewarned, not every dog owner cleans up after their dog so you might end up stepping in it... that's considered lucky if your pooch doesn't roll in it first!
Overall, pretty clean and COURTEOUS crowds.

Excellent place for a walk with the dog. Did the loop trail very convenient Very peaceful, very beautiful. It was a hazy day but it was still nice to look out on the water. And my dog Patches had a good time too.

Great place for jogging - there is a mile loop and you can continue on towards Hayward/San Matteo bridge if you want to go further. It’s nice not having the cross streets and continue running with no distractions. Late afternoon can get crowded especially on a nice day, will have to jog around people as they sometimes can take up the entire path if spread out or walking in a group.

I also take my dog here off-leash, however please do not do this if you are not confident with your dog as there are tons of people and other dogs around. The Marina dog park is close by too although I’ve never gone there with my dog.

This was my first time visiting Marina Park!!! My family organized a meetup for my cousin who is moving to the East Coast!!! A bunch of us met up, in the middle of the grass area and had a ball!!!

Marina Park is huge and I didn't even get to explore the whole Park!!! There was a nice breeze, since we were close to the Water, there was plenty of space for all the children, they had two different Playgrounds, clean bathrooms, sitting areas with benches, and a nice little trail!!!

This Park is only an hour from where I live and I wish I would've known about it before now!!! Overall, Marina Park seems safe and a great place to enjoy a day outside!!!

A nice place for an evening walk.

Amazing view all around.
Has a space for a bbq party and a park.
You can walk near the water and also has a restaurant near by.
Great place to hang out or just walk around and exercise.
This day a middle school had a cross country meet here.

This was my first time here and I came around 8:30pm ish, but originally I came here looking for the dog park and there didn't seem to be one although Google Maps took me here. Anyway, this place seems really cool, I didn't get to stay for very long since it was cold and windy when I went, but I'd definitely love to come back here at some point. I'd definitely recommend bringing an extra jacket or something since the bay is right there and it can get very windy, but it seems like a good-sized place to walk around with a great view.

A lot of people come to this park, but its good for walking. You can either walk in a 1 mile loop, or walk another trail that reaches for. There's a dog park to for small dogs (25 pounds and less) and larger dogs.
The best part of walking here is the breeze you get, keeps you nice and cool.

Parking is always difficult but worth the journey as this place is always very beautiful to walk with. There's a series of excersie equipment for athletes and from what I understand very popular for any pokemon enthusiasts. It is a fun and romantic walk (about a mile around in the main park) It's also party friendly as there are many tables and cooking areas available. It is also dog friendly so don't be surprised if you see a furry friend! Overall, it's a lovely place to enjoy!

Great park in San Leandro Marina Area. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was ample parking both on the street and inside the park. Families with kids can come here to picnic and BBQ, fitness freaks can walk, jog, run or bike on the paved trail. The place also gives me the vibe of muscle beach in LA as there are pull up bars at numerous places inside the park for kids and adults alike to workout on a warm afternoon. As this is in Marina area, there are also options to rent a boat to ride on the bay separating west and east Bay Areas.

Fantastic place to go for a relaxing walk, whether alone or with family. Social distancing is observed by almost everyone. A great way and great place to see the sunrise/sunset. Bring a jacket if visiting in the evening, it can get chilly.

There is too many things that I like about this place. The trail is amazing with the views, it doesn’t matter if you visit during the day or the afternoon. You get to see the airplanes landing at Oakland Airport. You also get to see the sea and the birds.

The squirrels are all over the place and you can observe them from a bench if you like. They are so funny and spontaneous.

The park counts with 2 playground areas, one for toddlers and another one for bigger kids.

The toddler area used to have a whale and a dolphin with water but they do not longer work.

Also it has a dog Park, one for little ones and one for bigger ones. The people of San Leandro is always kind and wonderful.
