Tasty, hearty, healthy food! 🇾🇪A true “oasis” amidst the sometimes impersonal, often pricey Bay Area.

Ammad 🇩🇿 brought the best hospitality and energy, putting together an awesome vegetarian combo plate right before they were about to close. Thanks to Mohammad for the help, too!

This has been my favorite Mediterranean / Arab food place since relocating to the Bay from Dubai 6 years ago 🙏🏻

Oasis has the BEST Middle Eastern food in Oakland. All the workers at Oasis are very friendly. Amar who works the grill at Oasis is from Algeria and he is a very friendly guy. He sure makes a tasty wrap. My favorite is the Lamb Kabob wrap. I sometimes get a fish wrap when they are out of lamb and it also tastes great. They make delicious fresh hummus every day. Oasis also bakes their own fresh flat bread daily. The bag of bread is still warm if you buy it before noon. I highly recommend Oasis. 👍👍

Their pita bread, babaganush, and hummus are simply the freshest! A delightful experience for anyone who appreciates quality and flavor.

Got a falafel wrap, the cashier and gentleman that made my food were so nice, and the falafel was outta this world! The market is stocked with necessities too. Will be back over and over again.

This was the third time I got food here, the second time got lamb shank and it was really good. The rice was amazing. This time, I bought the chicken wrap and it was really really good. The same gentlemen served us, his name is Omar and hes from Algeria; very nice with us and above all a fantastic chef. Will be a new frequent spot

They make pita bread while you watch. Though they don't sell fresh breakfast cheeses, they do have breakfast cheese available in their grocery.

The most unique and delicious vegetable samosa I have ever had, and I've eaten many over these many decades.

The staff is super polite, helpful, and inspire happiness. Honest staff, I saw them find keys and actively try to find who left them.

Made me want to visit Yemen, which I inferred from the Yemen license plate on the wall.

The nicest Miiddle East cafe attached to a grocery I have ever visited.

Samosas are delicious. Serving hot food deserts. It is also a market. Vegan. We picked up 50 samosas for an event. Ordered ahead and they had them ready.

Absolutely delicious vegetarian plate. Numerous choices, all yummy. Even warm pita if you ask for it. The Yemeni pita is very soft and fluffy and freshly made. So good. Smoky Baba Ganouj and 99¢ fresh, hot falafel. The prices are great and the personnel are very, very nice.

I have been going here for a while after the Masjid/Mosque behind. Their Lunch & Dinner Plates are Delicious & Well Balanced. Staff are always Very Polite and Nice. There were some Delicious Looking ' Flan ' Puddings in the Cooler Display in the Dining Room - Yellow'ish in Color. Then there were ' The Pale Pink Ones ' we couldn't figure out. Upon tasting one I realized that it was ' Blancmange ' !!! An Old Fashioned Dessert I hadn't had in Eons !! Was Delicious. Love their ' Always Fresh Dolmas ( Steamed Gape Leaves stuffed with Rice in Olive Oil , Fresh Falafels , Hummus, Baba Ghanoush & Fresh Pita Breads. Halal Meat Selections are Excellent, as Are ' The Mendi Combo Plates ' !!! An Older Established Oakland Halal Cafe. Masha Allah. Keep it Up Oasis !!!! Clean Spot & Servers too ....!!!!

Lamb Swarma was so good I almost forgot to take a picture

Delivery was fast 👍👍 I'm not really into lamb and they did a good job with the beef/lamb plate, the meat was perfect. Hummus was good -taste not overwhelming. Tried the falafel in my friend's veggie combo and it was pretty good! The pita bread was cold and hard but I'm sure that was due to delivery. All in all I'd order again and definitely pay a visit to their market

It's a market/restaurant. Food is top notch if you're into meet and rice and kabob and stuff. Staff is super welcoming and friendly.

This place is great! Nice staff, fresh baked pita breads, pastries. Good grocery section. I made foul madammas using their beans, and along with the bread, made a meal for 3 people for under $10. Really tasty and good for you!

I love mom and pop locations and keeping money in the community. This is great place to grab a bit to eat, it's like a homecooked meal on the go. I had the pizza one day it was good. The crust Perfect. I also had the fish sandwich it was good but next time I would get it with no lettuce.

Oh man, the Shawarma wrap I got from this place I'm still digesting a week later. This is the spot for your Arab and Mediterranean fix. Jam packed with every dip, spread and condiment barely legal in this country, just the way I like it. Why can't all ethnic spots be this good? Five stars.
