This is the best place to buy freshly roasted, whole been coffee right from the factory. The Organic Balthazar and Guatemala Antigua are my favorites. If you love coffee, it's worth the drive if you're not close. They've been doing it for almost 100 years, a special place in Oakland.

I had some great coffee recommendations given to me by the workers. I left with vanilla macadamia, bourbon pecan, and Moka java, and they are all so good. So far the pecan is the best!

Purchased Hawaiian blend and Breakfast blend coffee beans, great coffee flavor....Family favorites now.

Wonderful customer service. I had an Irish breakfast I ed tea with a dash of almond milk. It was refreshing.

Great coffee, dog friendly and the staff is always so helpful and nice! I really like their chai lattes. They offer dairy free options too. They have an outdoor patio where you can sit as well.

Peerless is a gem of Oakland! When I lived in Jack London, the cafe was my go to spot when commuting to work. Nowadays, I make my way to the shop to pick up coffee beans for home. Peerless has the best flavored coffees. My favorite is the cinnamon frangelico.

Let the aroma of this little shop sweep you away to coffee Heaven, and then let their liquid concoctions float you around on a caffeine cloud. This shop is stocked with the most robust blends for every pallet. It has the quaint feel of a homegrown coffee shop and the service and product to back up that Mom 'n Pop feel. It's not as trendy as the Blue Bottle down the street, but once word gets out, I'm afraid this spot will take over as the waterfront's coffee mecca.

I first tried Peerless coffee at a drive thru coffee shop in Fort Bragg, CA. I enjoyed it so much, I went back every day while I was visiting my brother. I love coffee & I have tried many different brands over the years. Peerless by far, is one of the best brands I've had! I buy the organic Espresso Maranello. This flavor is smooth & vibrant. Thank you Peerless Coffee, for an excellent product.

We've been ordering Peerless directly for a few years now, ever since we had their Dark Chocolate Truffle at Copenhagen in Burlingame. Funny thing, even though I spend about$30-$50/month on our orders, we'll still run out to Rolling Pin to get a cup of Peerless Coffee from them even though we can make it. We love to try the different options Peerless Coffee has. The quality of their coffee is literally second to none. They have a coffee club too. We have tried a bunch but our favorites are Espresso Marinella, Colombian Pink Bourbon, Bourbon Pecan, Vanilla Nut, Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate Truffle and a few others. They offer a subscription which we take advantage of to avoid withdrawal lol.

My FAVORITE coffee spot since moving to Oakland. I've tried their seasonal Pumpkin Pie Latte and Almond Roca Latte, and both were absolutely delicious and not too sweet. There was only one time the coffee tasted way over roasted but other than that, consistency is there. Beats all the other coffee chains around.

Been coming here for more than 15 years. THE best coffee, employees and bean selection I've found in over 35 years of being a coffee conneiseur! Try their Adam's Organic Millennium Joe. Been drinking it almost exclusively for more than 15 of those years!

I love their coffee! It is cute place, unfortunately sitting is available only outside. But coffee shop itself is really nice, well decorated, service is good. If you order regular drip coffee, you are getting free refills and there are at least 3 different options of different blends including decaf. Also you can buy several types of teas, coffee machines are available to buy or any cute coffee/tea related stuff.

Excellent local coffee company with an impressive selection of whole beans and loose leaf tea. It's also a small boutique so lots of coffee and tea-related items including espresso machines and of the like. The staff is very knowledgeable about the coffee/tea as well as quite congenial. They're typically well-staffed so I've found it rare to have to wait for very long.

Absolutely phenomenal. We stayed in CA for a month long trip and along the way picked up some vanilla nut cream beans. We made it back to WI to make a cup of coffee with our roomate. From all 3 of us, thank you. This coffee was absolutely delicious.
