It’s not that big, packed and will likely have what you need for your home DYI projects, but not that much in the way of lumber due to it’s size. There are a few “experienced” help on the floor that help you find items or help with your questions. There is a small amount of off-street parking. I come here often.

It's a lot bigger then I remember. Most Ace hardware stores I go to are small. But that's all part of the mom and pop store vibe they have. With that said, this is one of the biggest I've been to. I know this one wasn't as big the last time I went, as it is now. This one is really like a mini home depot.

The thing that stands out the most is the employees! Whenever I come here I always experience excellent customer service. The staff seems so knowledgeable compared to the employees I encounter at Home Depot and Lowe's. I am really lucky to have this resource so close to home!

Shout out to my man Brandon in Plumbing at Grand Lake Ace Hardware. I called the store and asked him about a washer I needed for a project. He told me there were two possibilities and that he would see me when I came down. I arrived fifteen minutes later and he had pulled the two washers, and had them out on the counter for me to try out. I can't remember the last time I saw that level of professionalism, competence and attention paid at a hardware store let alone anywhere else in the world. Highly recommend coming to this store as long as they keep people like Brandon working there!

The staff at Ace Hardware is very knowledgeable and helpful. We consistently receive valuable advice for our DIY projects. Today, Anthony and Bill helped us resolve an issue with an inoperable plug. We can always count on the Ace Grand Lake Team.

I always enjoy going here; the staff is so helpful and I almost always find what I need. A totally different experience from going to Home Depot (which I dread). Can't say enough nice things about Art, the manager, either.

Words cannot describe how fantastic this Ace Hardware is. Do yourself a favor and experience old fashioned service from helpful staff who will help you figure out what you need and find it. This Ace has hardware essentials as well as various housewares with a very popular garden center down the street.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and been going to them for years ever since I was 13 trying to build my first projects. Staff will do everything in their power to make sure you leave with what you need and their recommendations to me have always turned out to be good.

This Ace Hardware has a lot of roots with the local neighborhood. While it's a pretty big hardware store, it still has a neighborhood feel. I'm not saying staff at Home Depot or Lowe's aren't friendly, but my experiences interacting with the staff have always been positive.

Lately I've ordered stuff on the app and they've done a good job at preparing the orders which can be picked up in the backroom/loading dock.

A wonderful local well-stocked, well-managed hardware store with lots of friendly personal help available and reasonable prices. And easy free parking. I’m so glad we have this alternative to Home Depot. My favorite Ace Hardware.

Every Ace hardware store I've been to was like going back in time to the old mom and pop store before the big box stores showed up. The great thing about these small format hardware stores is that you can find the most obscure part or tool that you need for your project. The site employees are friendly and personable and actually know what they are doing and talking about. They actually take time to talk to you and get to know you and what you are trying to accomplish. Prices are a tad higher, but you get good service and can actually get what you need, or the employees can help you find another way to do what you need.

I love this location! Extremely well stocked and organized, esp. for how small it is. They almost always have what I need and are a fraction of the footprint of Home Depot with a hundred times better service. Yes some things are marked up relative to Home Depot for sure, others are the same price. The time it saves you finding things though is worth it to me. Cute selection of small indoor plant pots and there's a garden center location next door as well with even more pots and plants. Always someone around to help you, fast checkout, and easy returns. Love coming here and I'm not even much of a maker/builder or anything.

A true, traditional hardware store with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff who actually ask if you need help! Imagine! If you aren't handy, don't worry or feel intimidated to visit!

Daniel K.was the best! Super friendly and took the lead in a group of 3-4 staff to take the initiative to help me with my inquiry and lead me to EXACTLY what I was looking for. If he didn’t put himself out there I would have not have found what I needed. A true helper by nature and leader to blossom!

Such gems that work here! Kindness has a small town vibe. Person helping me ran right to the front of the store when he found out I couldn’t find my phone and realized I had left my phone in my basket. Also had such patience explaining to me at least twice how to put the hardware together for my project!

Went in for emergency sprinkler system repair. The customer service was excellent with getting me what i needed for the repair. Service is # 1 with this person.
