I used this funeral home to help me coordinate the burial of my wife. I worked with Mr. Lewis and he was absolutely amazing! At a time that has been the worst in my life he handled so many details and took care to keep me updated every step of the way. He went above and beyond and I am extremely grateful. The care that was shown to me is something I will never ever forget. Thank you for everything you did for me I truly appreciate it.

The staff provided great service for my dad's services. They were efficient informative and so thoughtful during my family time of bereavement. Tammy was such a beautiful caring person. All I can say if you want the job done they will do it. thanks to such a great staff.

Fouche's Hudson Funeral Home is the best. My cousin died in Texas but, had lived in Oakland, CA for 40 years and had planned California for her final resting place. From my initial phone encounter with Tammy Hardy who is the utmost professional and who facilitated our transferring my cousin's body from Texas and the entire business transaction with the transferring funeral home.... to Elvin Butler who made sure that her Oakland funeral and Sacramento National Cemetery burial experience was certainly top notch. Mrs. Fouche was great as well. She came in to visit our family during the visitation and showered us with hugs and with La Madeleine's and specialty snacks as well as words of comfort. Yes, this was a deeply sad period for our family, but Fouche's Hudson Funeral Home added so much class and dignity to my cousin's homegoing and left us with memories that we will never forget. Losing a loved one to advanced kidney failure in Sept 2020, has caused me enormous pain and sorrow. However, the compassion, patience, efficiency and professionalism that Mr. Wilson and Akim (at Fouche's Hudson Funeral Home ) have shown through their work, have made a difference in a time like this especially during the pandemic. The staff here is amazing !

I want to say up front that the secondary staff that are really behind the scenes were wonderful, the reception staff, those who prepared my dad’s body, etc. However the sales guy I had to work with was unbearable in a difficult situation like this. He was really like a terrible used care salesman at best. Don’t use Mr Brown! He acted as though he was pitching some circus product and no sensitivity what so ever to this situation. I had to manage this mans every move as he wasn’t getting anything done. To top it off I just got the death certificate and due to the intake report that Robert Brown wrote it says my dad is white. He’s not! He’s half black. So I have to continue to manage this process. The owner Mrs Fouches has been great about fixing the situation and resolving the death certificate issue. She was a standout as far as the care and respect that should be offered in this type of situation.

I had something to compare this to as my father was taken from Fouches to SFO and flown to Denver where Fairmount Cemetery received him. The experience with them was like night and day. They corrected the coloring that Fouches did and put my dad’s natural color on him. I would recommend Fouches yet I would not! recommend working with Robert Brown.
