How have I not been here sooner!? Great place to grab coffee with friends and let your kids run around. Perfect place my 4 year old to ride his bike. He loved playing on the big hill and watching boats go by. Loved watching the dancers and seeing such a beautiful mix of people enjoy their Sunday out and about.
Bonus for clean & accessible restrooms too!

What an exciting and wonderful place to go on a Sunday afternoon. There's dancing, great music, roller skating, people watching, you're near the Marina and Jack London Square, it's a place to rent equipment for water sports, and an excellent place for families to spend time together on the Boardwalk. Highly recommended place for dating.

This park is awesome!! I skate here all the time and people frequently run, walk, walk their dogs, skate, and dance. They have weekly salsa lessons and skate events. It’s got a beautiful view of the estuary and the sunsets are marvelous. Highly recommend!

Love this park! Anenities include a grassy hill, informational plaques, comfortable benches for reclining or sitting upright, smooth surfaces for roller skating, super clean restrooms, beautiful views, wide open spaces, and a roving private security guard to ensure cars aren't broken into.

Also, Rocky's Market was an absolute delight to find here. They have a gourmet selection of groceries, fresh and prepared foods, and beverages to pique anyone's interest- kids and adults alike.

Great addition to Oakland’s open space with access to the Estuary in Oakland built out by the Brooklyn Basin developer. And it’s an Oakland public park open to all with regular roller skating parties happening here + Salsa on Sundays! Black Joy on Wheels ride ended here on 2/6/22.

One of Oaklands newest parks that are perfect for anyone of any age. Rocky’s has ample snacks and food and you can count on there to be a roller skating jam party on weekends.

An amazing park with views of the water! Wide, flat walkways make this a great place for a nice stroll along the estuary or for young ones to scoot or bike. The design of the place is beautiful, with three sections of the old warehouse that once stood here architecturally framing the park. You'll often see roller skating, dance, and yoga groups out. A great place to go on a weekend morning to grab coffee or even a full brunch at Rocky's Market before hanging out in the park.

This is such a special place where all of humanity comes together to enjoy the water, excercise, dance, skate and so much more. The weekends are full of music and local color. This is one of Oakland ‘s treasures and we hope it always will be.

I fell in love with this gorgeous open space at first sight. A much needed public space along Oakland's Embarcadero to get outside and comfortably social distance while hanging out with friends and family. Super rollerskate friendly. A plein air artist's dream. Especially magical at sunset.
