I purchased on eBay from you The Dynamite edition of Mission Impossible the Original Series DVD box set. Packed very well took me a little bit to unpack it and I love it thank you. I hope the Oakland library's enjoys my donation. When in Oakland, California I intend to visit your fine store.

This is a fantastic little bookstore, there is no telling what you can find there. And the prices are such a great deal. And a very good reason to come here to purchase books, is because all proceeds go to the Oakland Library. And they don't just have books. There's games, puzzles, CDs and many other assorted items. I've even seen collectables of all sorts. So do yourself right and the Oakland Library come on down.

This place is dangerous. I bought 10 high-quality books here for $26, which explains the photo. Thankfully I only had one drink at the (very cozy) bar across the street from this place before swinging by, otherwise I would have bought 80 books rather than 10. Very, wonderfully dangerous place. Also:

1. It helps the Oakland Public Library.
2. The location and interior are so cozy that I'm genuinely surprised it hasn't been used for filming a Hallmark movie yet.
3. The volunteers there are helpful and relaxing and know what they're doing.

Visited for Indie Bookstore Day. Employees are friendly and it's quaint and clean. Small but good selection, even a few comic books. No public restroom, only one floor.

Cute bookstore in Oakland with gently used books for super cheap. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Well organized and a good selection of whatever genre you're looking for. Usually easy to park on the street nearby, too. By swanns market.

Friendly and helpful staff, an amazing selection of books at incredible prices, AND proceeds go to help the Oakland Public Library. You can't beat that! I highly recommend visiting The Bookmark anytime you are in the Oakland area.

This delightful bookstore in Old Oakland has all sorts of treasures. In addition to books, they offer CDs, sheet music, jigsaw puzzles and more. This shop benefits Friends of the Oakland Public Library. People who donate here read the kind of books I want to purchase. Staff is friendly and helpful, and prices are very low. I shop here every week!

Not your average neighborhood bookstore. This one is non-profit. Proceeds go to support the Oakland Public Libraries. They accept book donations, so please donate any books you've gotten the use of. I volunteered here in High school, and could use your help too.
There's a good selection of books, and a few 'bargain' book carts out front as well. Come on by and browse!

Great model bookstore that serves the local public library. They have some really great books, including a lot of rare stuff that is decently priced. Walked away with three books and could have easily found more if I had more time to spend.

I love this place! A cozy bookshop in a beautiful vintage storefront in Old Oakland, filled with books, CDs, DVDs & LPs of every genre. The prices are amazing, the variety is impressive (everything is donated by the community & the proceeds support the Oakland Public Library's special programs)...I rarely leave without a full bag or 2!

I've been going here for over 10 years. The book selection varies all the time since they depend on donations. The staff are all volunteers and super nice. Books are really cheap and usually in good condition. All proceedings go towards the public libraries. What more can you ask for?!

Cool, little bookstore in the Old Oakland neighborhood, with all proceeds benefiting the Oakland Public Library system. Great place to pick up something new to read, for a very good price. If you have any good used books, they accept donations here too!

Amazing prices for good quality books. Today I was able to get 2 books for $75 cent because they where having a sale.

One of the best Bay Area sources for quality donated used books, records (lps) and dvd's at remarkably low prices. Benefits the Oakland Public Library. Open Sunday til 2pm.

A great inexpensive used bookstore. Me and my wife found a lot of treasures here. The clerk was super cool as well. Sadly no Easton Press on hand when I was there. Still lots of great selections though.
