My go to spot. Lots of colors, they’re very efficient and my gel manicure can last at least 3 weeks. I always make an appointment so I get both nails and toes done at the same time.

This nail shop is the best. They pay such attention to detail, do multiple coats, and the OPI gel ends up lasting 3-4 weeks. Today I needed to leave for the airport and they were able to complete my gel removal and fresh manicure in record time. It’s definitely worth calling ahead, but they’ve typically been able to fit me in day of, except around holidays.

I’ve gotten 3 or so gel pedicures here thus far and have been very happy with my services. The pricing is clearly posted, they obviously are used to doing a lot of customized looks and they also do the basics well. Metal tools are autoclaved and they clearly take sanitation appropriately seriously. I usually call for an appointment same day and so far they’ve always been able to accommodate me.

Not a review for me, but for my partner's experience. We recently moved here and she was worried about finding a good place to get her nails done. She found The Classic Nail Shop and it has been great from the start. I'm so happy she has found a place that does a great job. She very happy which makes me happy. I had the most perfect gel manicure & regular pedicure I've had in a looong time. It lasted long for someone who constantly has hands in water. It's pricey, so booking appts for special occasions.

Easily the best nail salon I've ever been to. They do an incredible job, especially with gel manicures. They do more coats than any place I've ever been to which makes the gel manicure last forever.

Consistency, quality, cleanliness and friendliness. Other nail shops in Oakland should take notes. They use high quality nail polish, do a great job every time and really take care of you. 🥰

Got a gel manicure and regular pedicure today (called ahead and was able to get an appointment for an hour later). My nails look amazing, service was great and it felt very COVID safe (everyone masked, big window open). I'll definitely be back!

You can not find a better nail salon anywhere in Oakland. You can not. The booking process is very efficient. I love that if you book an appointment you will be seated within ten mins of that appointment which is so rare for a nail salon. The quality of the work here is so consistent and thorough. Services are not cheap if you are coming on a regular basis but the quality of what you get is so worth it.

I absolutely love this place. My mother in law introduced me to this place and I couldn't be happier. I don't think I can go elsewhere. The techs are super sweet and know their stuff. And the owner, Jason, is super friendly. They are busy, so make an appointment. You won't regret it. It's the best place on Piedmont!!
