Took my 6 year old here. My son was nervous, but Kayjay was so professional and friendly! I could tell Kayjay takes pride in his work and wants you to be 100% satisfied with your cut.

I’m excited and surprised to find an awesome barber shop like Juan’s in middle Alameda. The place is modern with a chill vibe and the barbers are welcoming. They take credit/debit which makes things very convenient. I’m happy to say I found my neighborhood barber I can count on!

Great fade, online scheduling, one of the least expensive places in the area but not because they're sacrificing quality- what's more to want! Oh, what's that you say, I'm super queer and they were still very friendly and zero weird vibes? Even better!

Juan and Kay-Jay have been super friendly and welcoming they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Shop is always clean smelling good great vibe's.. After a haircut they aren't in a rush to kick you out if you got a few min to hang back.

One of the best cutters/barbers I've ever seen. Really. He understands hair and what you want. Also, I thought this was awesome, he takes the time! There is no rush and Juan is invested in doing a great cut. OH, and Juan is a great guy. I took my 5 year old and now I'm heading over for my cut!

This barbershop has such a great vibe. Juan, Eric and Kayjay are great at what they do and are always fun to be around. I appreciate the safety protocols they have in place for their patrons and I like that you can easily book appointments online.

I have been getting my hair cut at Juan's Barber Shop for about 5 years now and they treat me great and give me the cut i ask for every time. KJ is my go to barber and he always hooks up my haircut. I've looking for a go to barber for over a year now since I've moved back to the Bay and haven't found one I really liked until this place. The online scheduler was clutch and fit in my schedule. I picked Kay Jay because he was open at 5:30 on the same day and glad I did. He started by finding out exactly how I liked my hair and asked a lot of questions on what I liked and not liked. He's a cool funny dude in general and kept me laughing throughout with his stories. Also the shop is attached to a cool ass sneaker store. Definitely will be back every 3 weeks!

My barbershop for life. Before Juan's I was just a janky cheap barbershop guy. But now I'm here for the experience - and it's worth every penny.

I've been coming here for years but the revamp will wow anyone coming in. I stop by once in a while even when I'm not getting a cut!

The main thing that differentiates this shop is the time and care that each barber puts into your cut. They definitely take 10-15 minutes more and the extra strokes count. I usually take my out of town friends here as a treat.

These guys are awesome. Came up to visit GF and was looking for good haircut, but moreover, a good experience. Juan's Barbershop delivered. Kay Jay cut my hair and really took the time to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it. Came back three more times - Great every time. Note: Place is a little hard to find. Hint: Find the shoe store and you'll find the shop ha.

It was a great experience. I might come back but c'mon, I came for a simple Clipper Cut and got charged an extra $10 because it turned into a Clipper cut w/beard trim combo for half of an inch on my sidebruns. It ain't fair nor a good way to keep new customers.. If there is a next time, I'll be careful about that...

Juan’s barbershop, located next to shoe consignment store prstg, is the go to place if you need a haircut, line up, taper, fade, or good ol fashion shave. Owner, Juan Sabino, and his team of fellow highly skilled and professional barbers are a joy and I feel at home everytime I am there. I personally have been going to Juan for haircuts for many years now and have nothing but the best to say about he and his team. Juan, KJ, and John are the best in town! Most down to earth, patient and skilled barbers in Alameda. Been going here for years; never been disappointed. You won't be either.

I've been getting my haircut here for the last 3 years and I'm disappointed I haven't given them a shoutout earlier. I get my hair cut by Juan, but he and all the other barbers are hella chill and will take the time to make sure you look your absolute best!

Super low key barber shop with three chairs and chill barbers and very reasonable prices. The place is small but feels like home in this tastefully done barber/apparel shop in alameda. I'll be making this my permanent place to get Ma hur done.

I’ve been going here for probably two years now. Easy to schedule appointment. They follow all Covid protocols. Do a good job. Work recommend to go get cut there.
