Zen Springs - Boutique Bath House

I loved this place! I knew the reviews going and didn’t expect much but they really impressed me! This place has such bad reviews, i didn’t have that experience there was no mold no moldy smell. Towels were clean didn’t smell. the front lady was very cool and helpful. Able to same day book. Everything was pleasant and just what we wanted. We brought our own epsom salt and were allowed to use it. I had a really good time! I booked the vip room, i didn’t expect a shower but it was nice after the tub.

I had a great time here! We had the private hot tub for 2. Definitely worth it! The customer service was great! We went around 7:30 pm and were greeted right away. They didn't rush us to leave when our time was up. The lady at the front desk was really professional and respectful. We definitely will be coming back here. This is our go to place when we visit Oakland now!

I have been to Zen Springs now 4 times and this place is wonderful. I go during mid-day after my massage treatments to complete a spa day for myself! I have an hour soak usually, and everything is always the same...clean facilities, and quiet. Today the manager treated me to an upgrade...the VIP Room for 2 people... Wow! Huge tub and room, beautiful skylights starry sky and colors. Really a wonderful soak! Thank you so much!

If you are in need of a wonderful fresh water chlorine-free soak, try this place! And/or bring your significant other for a romantic experience too!

I was there early afternoon by myself on a Thursday. Very quiet, and very clean facility. Nicely decorated. I viewed both rooms before deciding and picked the smaller room since I was by myself.

Tub and Tile clean and no mold. I had a great experience. I will come back, as I only have a shower at home and love to soak in a tub. I am allergic to chlorine so this place is perfect!

I can also see where couples will love this place!

Very relaxing and romantic spa! The atmosphere is soothing from the second you walk in with a type of floral aroma. Staff is friendly, answered all my questions over the phone and explained everything in our room. The place is very clean and it seemed they sqwuigy clean ALL glass items after every use. We paid $70 for 60min in a VIP spa room and it was worth every penny! The star light ceiling, pink bath light and adjustable dimming lights sets a very romantical mood!

Zen Spring is a place that I've been dealing almost 10 years.
The The services they offer are superb the place is always clean and ready to be used. And what I love about it most is not a traditional hot tub facility. I. I love it the most because you're not bathed in someone else's filthy water.. You are able to put the clean water in once you walk into the facility play your own music have drinks and chill with your significant other. Or have a party with your girls and have a spa day . It is definitely one of a kind. Thanks Calvin you always treated me with the utmost respect along with your staff

Very discreet place hot tubs are filled when you get there. Friendly and nice looking customer service. The best room is the vip room with the stars on the ceiling...Photo/video worthy super sexy!

My wife and I were looking for a way to get out of the house when the fires were really bad and Oakland was hard to breath. We wanted a relaxing day but just couldn’t be in the house any longer. We found this place and fell in love! It was so calming and relaxing, really beautiful in the room. We were able to soak, steam and rinse off. It was more than we could ask for and super affordable.

Nice clean hot tubs, might as well as upgrade to the VIP as you get a sauna, table/bed, and hot tub. Takes 15 minutes to fill the tub which is your time, 1.5 hours was plenty of time. An hour might not be enough

I got the 2 hour couples spa package with my boyfriend and enjoyed every minute of it. The spa room was clean and nicely decorated. The spa worked nicely with adjustable heat and after we could use the sauna. All around the room was large and the tub nicely fit two people. Afterwards our massages felt great. It was an all around nice experience and i will definitely be coming back.

This is my go to place for a nice relaxing date night with a hot tub and sauna combination room. The staff are friendly and the facilities are near and tidy. They fill up the tub after you check in and have bath salts and bubble bath that you can buy on site as an add on. They have showers in the combination rooms which is convenient. Twilight sparking lights in ceiling add a romantic and relaxing ambiance. The lights also have settings which allow you control over dimming the lights. I have been here on many occasions and always have a positive experience.

I really loved that it was a tub, with fresh water. Great soak, they let you play music, and the sauna was nice too. Great relax spot. An hour and half was perfect time

To be honest I was really scared to go because of the bad reviews.. but I went just to give it a try ... and I totally love it the staff very friendly and the massage 💆 was perfect for my bf and I.. the jacuzzi didn’t have mold and the room was wonderful and I totally love it...

We booked a couples massage & VIP suite last minute!
The massages were affordable & effective.
Our spa suite was clean and superb.
Moreover, their website is efficient & functional.
Great way to relax;-)

Really Beautiful Atmosphere...Zen is a perfect name to call this place..I highly recommend zen springs over all the hot tub spots in the eastbay. The best part is that you can run your own water like a bath and use your own soaps. Its not like you are going in someone elses water. Its very clean and each room is very pretty....Please check it out..
