Holiday Inn & Suites Oakland - Airport, an IHG Hotel

Fantastic, food, shopping, & if you like going for walks or rides on the bike it's everything is so very local.
Just one thing I told everyone I've known or ran into.
If you are traveling, watch your surroundings at all times. Everybody knows what locals look like everybody knows what people look like when they're traveling whatever you do don't you ever leave anything in your car nothing all that's going to cause is drag attention to you and your companions and that's it.. out of sight out of mind.

This hotel is right outside OAK airport. The rooms are nice and a decent size. Diamond sports back has great food and service. I went each morning for coffee she breakfastof steaks and eggs. For lunch I would get their grill chicken baconavocado abduction sandwich. It was really good.

I recently stayed here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, the food at the restaraunt was very good, and the bed was super comfortable! I don't particularly like staying in oakland due to the crime but I felt safe here. Super close to the airport too

Oakland is not the safest town. That said, the convenient location of this hotel near the airport, "with shuttle service" gated secure parking area, secure hotel grounds clean modern rooms
excellent food service / restaurant, a very smart accommodating staff makes it so you don't have to worry about having a secure base of operation if in town for a short or extended stay.
Very competitive pricing it is a great value.

A great place to stay for access to Oakland airport. Staying and parking with shuttle service is great.

Booked a room at this hotel when we came in to catch an A’s game. Primarily chose it based on location and reviews as well as it seemed to be one of the newer hotels in the area. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and quick to get us checked in. We also were able to get a shuttle back to the airport for only $10 for the two of us. the room was extremely large and I have rarely seen rooms with two king beds. The outdoor space was extremely nice and quiet as well as the pool area. The restaurant was an added bonus, and had great food and lots of TVs with all kinds of different sports playing if we come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

A great experience all around. We worked a wedding at the Fairview Metropolitan and thought it would be a great idea to stay at the Holiday Inn property. The shuttle service was a big plus Our room was recently remodeled and the property was flawless. My granddaughter shared breakfast with me and she gave the restaurant 5 stars. We will definitely be back soon.

A very well maintained hotel located very close to the Oakland Airport. It is not the greatest neighborhood but has a secured parking lot, and the hotel has a good restaurant and bar on site.

Very clean and professional. Rooms were more updated and modern than I was prepared for, so that was a huge plus! We had the breakfast one morning and it was a total gut bomb, but better than going out when you're ready to head home.
Oh also, walls are paper thin, bring earplugs. Lots of guests staying to catch flights, so lots of doors slamming at 4am. Not a deal breaker but I'll be prepared if there is a next time. I would stay here again.

Had a WONDERFUL STAY at this hotel. Enjoyed the spacious room and amenities. It simply couldn't have been better. We used the gym daily in the mornings to start our day. Room service was excellent, and the staff worked hard to keep the room clean. Parking was secure, with a turnstile arrangement for positive traffic management. There is a parking fee for self park, and definitely worth it. I'd stay there again without hesitation. The Oakland Airport is literally minutes away, just down the street. GREAT JOB...I WILL RETURN.

I cannot express how welcomed we felt! The gated parking fee was unexpected, but well worth it ($20/day with in and out privileges). Room was clean, bed was so comfortable, black out shades like these should be standard in all hotels! The bathroom had pleasant amenities, great water pressure (a la the Commando 450! LOL!), large dispensers of body wash, shampoo and conditioner, which was refreshing to see (I hate itty bitty single use stuff that just makes more waste than we should). Great location, and even though it's close to the airport it was absolutely silent! They also have a really cute restaurant right in the hotel called Diamond's... we didn't eat there but it smelled wonderful and the food looked tasty. They do have a happy hour between 4-7 but again, we didn't have the opportunity to stop by. I also liked that they had a paper in the room with directions o how to schedule housekeeping (if desired). We did not choose to schedule them and I was happy that no one knocked on the door to come clean. Front desk staff were helpful, courteous, friendly and accommodating. We booked through Costo Travel and got a fabulous rate! This will forever be our go-to hotel in Oakland!

Comfy bed, front desk was nice and helpful. The breakfast is from a real restaurant so it was really really good. I had eggs Benedict and my wife had an omlete and both were delicious. The hotel shuttle is easy and the drivers are helpful and kind. We had Freddy take us in the morning and he treated us so good and was such a warm and delightful personality to start the day with. Would definitely stay here again.

The only knock on the room would be lack of plugs next to each side of the bed. I use a cpap machine and had to run my cord to the other side.

This hotel is right next to the airport and although it looks a little older on the outside, the rooms are all recently updated. I felt like I was staying in a brand new hotel room.

I arrived late, looked for something to eat on the way but couldn't find anything, and was surprised to find a full-service restaurant inside this hotel open until 10pm on a Thursday. The sirloin steak salad was delicious!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The room was spacious , clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The young lady who worked that night was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed . She assisted us with the food delivery order, extra covers and everything else we needed. Thanks to her especially 😊 I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for a week for business. The hotel staff were all very nice friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was good each morning. The location was within a secure area. Felt very safe with my vehicle outside.

Excellent stay during my temporary work at the Alameda Coast Guard Base. The hotel is modern looking and bright. My first impression was the lobby. The check-in process was easy and fast. The check-in staff is professional and quickly got me settled. She offered me a room with two king-sized beds with no extra cost even though I originally reserved for a one king-sized bed room because I'm the only guest using the room. But with my luggage full of my work-related items like tools and equipment, the extra space in that room made it even more comfortable for me instead of being crammed if it was a smaller space. The small gym facility is clean and I used it for my routine workouts while on travel. The cleaning staff were always very thorough in the cleaning in the age of COVID-19. Overall, the stay was pleasant for me. Everything is meticulously clean and constantly being clean. Looking forward to another stay at this Holiday Inn when I return.

The room was very quiet and clean, excellent customer service

Great rooms! Newly modern suite is like a studio apartment. No refrigerator or outdoor access in room but really perfect for a week of business training. Many usb and electric outlets, coffee bar, couch, large bath with barn door. 2 large beds in this one and view to parked vehicle. Walk in closet! Happy hour & restaurant looks great and breakfast in morning is substantial to start the day.

Great spot for flying out of Oakland. Note that the FRONT DESK is who charges you $10 round trip for the airport shuttle. ( Tip the drivers they are really prompt) Beds comfortable, room clean and quiet for this location. We had a 4am shuttle to the airport!!
