I've been shopping at Ladyfingers not for years but for DECADES!
It's a real gem, a genuine made-in-house bakery with a French pedigree...the quiche are amazing, my go-to birthday cake is a COCONUT CAKE WITH PINEAPPLE (special order). BUT, you have to try their CHOCOLATE MOUSSE which is amazingly good and made with Ghirardelli chocolate! Just a few spoonful's is all it will take. This is a treasure to enjoy!

I was really pleased that Phoebe was able to make a cake for my fiancé on such a last minute basis, especially one that MANY bakeries don’t make for some reason (Funfetti). Great service and great cake. This is a really nice local business.

Stopped by spontaneously while on a hot girl walk, and got the lemon pound cake, a lemon bar, and upside down raspberry cake. All there were amazing and the lady who helped us was so nice!

I Love this local bakery. They make beautiful and very tasty cakes. My husband is quite happy with them in his b-day. Perfect size.

Never actually gone into this place, but years ago a dude with a bunch of tattoos and piercings gave me a free chocolate cookie and it was delicious so just for that the place gets 5 stars from me.

I'm not sure why this place has low ratings. I have had a few of their delights and just too dangerously delicious. I once had some chocolate cake that a client gave me a piece of And oh my God the best thing ever. Also their little Cream puffs Are just divine. I have also Bought a Tiramisu cake from them. Like I said they never disappoint. Staff is always sweet

The only pastries I like in the bay area. Last time we got 2 dozens to share with friends, and everyone loved them. Really good quality

The mango cream cake was delicious! The owner was very sweet and helpful with our order.

I've driven by this bakery so many times and have never stopped. So this is my 1st time here. I called inquiring about a Strawberry Shortcake, which she made within a 1/2 an hour of my call and I was not disappointed. It was really really good not too sweet. So I am definitely coming back

This bakery is great! Definitely an SF/Oakland gem. I’ve had their lady fingers, cookies, smaller sweet treats, and entire cakes - everything is delicious. Flavors are nicely balanced and good texture too. Their cheesecake frosting is my favorite.

Really great little place. Got the best rum cake ever. It wasn't cheap but so big you can cut it into several pieces. She even gave me a discount, which I thought was crazy nice! HIGHLY recommended 👌 👍🏾.

I came in 30 minutes before closing. Patty was so nice and wrapped up an upside down pineapple 🍍 cake for me, then sold me a fresh strawberry 🍓 cake to die for. 😋

This is a longtime overdue. I’ve been going here for 30 years. My friend used to work here. Order the strawberry charlotte! Their croissant dogs, Their cookies, ANYTHING! They make AMAZING cakes and wedding cakes. Reliable too.

My family has been coming to this wonderful shop for years. Ladyfingers is unique and creative with all of their offerings. Never had a bad experience here, never had any problems with customer service, And their big goods are always awesome. They even sell their day-old cookies in case you don’t want to pay full price.

We ordered a full sheet carrot cake for a retirement party. The cake was the star of the event! The staff was super nice when I picked it up by physically carrying the (heavy!) cake to the car. Also, little known fact, they have spots in the parking lot just past the store on Oakland Ave.

Always make it a point to purchase a carrot cake from Ladyfingers when I visit Oakland. Absolutely delicious. Very friendly service. I haven't tried anything else since I love the carrot cake so much. Maybe I will venture to another treat soon and let you know.

Ive been here on three separate occasions and really loved their apple crisp, Russian tea cakes, and other goodies. I recently went to get an apple pie-lette (its like a cute little 4" pie) and cupcakes for a friend's birthday which was a mistake. Before stepping out the door, the cupcakes instantly fell over. Who packages cupcakes like this (see picture)?

I went back to the shop and told the lady at the front what happened. She was really understanding - offered to get me a new, padded box (she stuffed the sides with parchment paper), replace the cupcakes, and even threw in an extra one. I was pleasantly surprised by the way she handled this little mishap. The cupcakes were a little drier than I would've liked, but I'll definitely be back (maybe not for the cupcakes though)!

Fantastic almond croissant and danish, best I’ve ever had in Oakland. Carrot cake is incredible as well, not too sweet. Great little gem.

Great Covid protections: masks, hand sanitizer, barriers, and outdoor service. Always nice and helpful. The black bottom cakes have been my favorite since 2003!
