Hampton Inn & Suites Oakland Airport-Alameda

Rooms are clean, and the desk staff is professional. Glad we stayed here as we passed through OAK. This worked well for one night stays. It felt safer staying here than on the other side of the airport. Plus the runway noise isn't that noticeable.

The only downside is the 10 dollar charge for the shuttle plus we had to call or request the shuttle each time even though it runs 24 hrs a day.

Regardless, we will use this location the next time we are in the area.

Close to the airport so you do get some residual plane noise and the floors are bit "thin" but otherwise a very comfortable stay. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the shuttle service as well.

Nice, quiet location in spite of being near the airport. The hotel was clean, the hotel staff were polite & helpful. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable with pillows as soft as clouds lol
Loved how the clock had a charging dock.
Complimentary breakfast was plentiful. Great variety of waffles, eggs, omelettes, bacon, oatmeal, cereal etc.
Overall very happy with my stay.

Rooms are spacious! Clean and neat! Amenities are ok, and the overviewing of scenery is perfect to wake up in the morning! Limited selection for breakfast, but all good.

The location is perfect since it is close to the airport. You feel safe here and you are. The staff was very accommodating to my needs and wonderful. The rooms are very clean and maintained well. The morning breakfast has enough options to choose from so you have your fill of what you want or like. It's quiet at night and the beds are quite comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean and modern. I trust this location and its staff. Well done.

This place is nice. It has a bar plenty of seating for your large family. Clean friendly staff a must stay when in Oakland oh very close to airport

This hotel is awesome 😎! The bed is comfortable and clean. The complementary breakfast was great, the only thing I found lacking was bacon, but I barely missed it. The pool is small though, but you are not too far from cool places to occupy your time. There is a very decent gym, with more weight than I can pick up. Definitely a nice stay if I ever find myself in Oakland again.

I wish there would have been a bathtub other then that this hotel was lovely and the breakfast was amazing thanks

Our family has stayed at this hotel multiple times throughout the years for travel (adjacent to Oakland Airport) , visiting Alameda and the bay area, and to get away.
The location is excellent in a beautiful area with impressive views of the bay and SF. It is on the waterfront and the ocean is great to walk or ride a bike alongside.
The hotel has good parking, free full breakfast and spacious rooms.
The staff is kind and professional and handles most reasonable needs quickly.
The hotel has a bar with good menu overlooking the water as well. The pool is ok, warmed and spa is large and has jets.
The fitness room is well maintained and has everything for a full body workout.
Jovy the manager is approachable and professional and has always taken good care of our family as we have come multiple times a year. Great option for families.

The staff were so nice & accommodating to me & my husband. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even went to the kitchen to get him cold milk for his breakfast & when he ate his lunch in the bar while I was at my conference! The place is clean & well kept! Thank you for making me & my husband feel so comfortable & secure for my first business trip! Will definitely let my company know this is the place to stay for future conferences!!

Great experience - clean room, hot breakfast, peloton bike in the gym, free OAK airport shuttle. Just note you might have to call for the shuttle at night, though it’s supposed to arrive every :15 and :45. Nothing around nearby, so wouldn’t walk around. But the view of the water is great.

I was here with my three children and we stayed 2 nights. Wonderful breakfast each day, friendly customer service,Everything was great. The only complaints were that the pool and hot tub was not cleaned so we could not use it. However, We were even able to get a late checkout with hot tea and coffee. I would stay here again.

The room I reserved (standard king) was sold out by the time we checked in (just after midnight due to our flight being delayed) so we were given a free upgrade to a king suite! Even though it was just for one night it was greatly appreciated.
Breakfast is from 6am-10am and had a great selection. Waffles, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal and more. Plus juices and coffee.
Would definitely stay here again!

The shower head needed some CLR treatment… but otherwise the room (218) was good to go.
The bar needed some attention… as far as stocking it with some mixing spirits.
Oh… and the bartender needed to focus on people, not the register/phone. She was nice, however I had to inform her twice of people at bar… and that I’d wanted another beer.
Women at front desk were very kind.

Truly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been displaced from my apartment for a week and everyone here, from front desk to cleaning crew is smiling and happy to help. Some standout employees who helped me were Jovy, Nairovi, Maria, and Brandon, as they were so accommodating and pleasant. I wish I could individually name every employee, because honestly so many people here have made this experience feel as warm and welcoming as possible!

My Wife and I recently had our wedding on Thursday 9/2. We worked directly with Sandy who is ABSOLUTELY amazing to create a party block for ourselves and some of our guests! Her communication and turn around time is impeccable. Working with Sandy feels like you’ve known her for years and the reassurance she provides is exactly what we needed while planning our wedding. She not only was great with us but with all of our guests as well. Sandy made sure our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites was smooth and easy. Not to mention the wonderful front staff who made sure all our guests were taken care of. Breakfast was perfect ! Our stay at the Hampton was incredible and if you plan on getting married or need a party block for any occasion, REACH OUT TO SANDY ! Her and the team at Hampton Inn are number 1 when it comes to customer service!

We stayed here to be close to the Oakland airport for a morning flight. The room was very clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed. The building was well insulated to keep down noise from the airport which is very close. They provided a carryout breakfast, which none of the other hotels we stayed in were doing. I will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Really nice hotel. Location is pretty awesome right next to the bay. The runway for Oakland Airport is right there, but the windows are triple pane, you won't hear a thing. View is amazing. Complimentary finger foods and drinks and fruit around the clock is nice. The complimentary breakfast has a range of good food, from eggs to waffles, donuts, bagels, yogurts, cereal, fresh juice and smoothies, fruit, and oatmeal with various toppings etc. The rooms are cozy, beds, blankets and pillows all plush and nice. They even have complimentary beach cruisers to peddle around on if you feel so inclined. I Can't complain. It was a good experience all around.

I stayed here for 12 days and it was great. The hotel is well kept and housekeeping does an amazing job at keeping everything clean. The bar was open every night( contrary to other reviews left). I would definitely recommend this place for a stay.
