Second time I came to pick up lunch. First time I came for lunch, I tried the Green Chile plate which was fantastic. Good amount of Pork and Potatoes in a really tasty Green Chile and Tomatillo sauce. Beans tasted fresh, and the rice was good. Today I tried the Chicken Flautas with Tomatillo Sauce and Refried beans. All fantastic and well done. Very traditional, not "white washed". One of the better places I have had Mexican food in the Bay Area. Absolutely worth a try!

Came here for a takeout on Friday night. I put in my order at the counter and waited at the outdoor tables right in front for 5 minutes. One of the staff came outside and brought out my order! The two Agua Fresca -- watermelon and cantaloupe -- were made with fresh melons. So refreshing and delicious. The Carnitas Plato was made with fresh ingredients. The beans were cooked perfectly and the marinated braised pork was tendered and meaty. The tortillas were warm. The food here tastes really good. I'm going to try other dishes on their huge menu in the future for sure.

Damn. Just had the most deliciously insane Cali burrito. Got al pastor. Damn.

Burrito is so good! Staying on the island for the weekend, we ate here three times.

Rudy and his friends are some of the most efficient, hard-working, and que linda restaurant staff in the area! We return again and again because it's such an obvious answer to: what are we gonna do for lunch?

We’ve been getting take out here frequently since the pandemic started. The absolute best service and food in alameda. Always friendly, delicious food and hassle free take out.

HONESTY!!! I left my wallet on the counter one time, I was unemployed for a while. When I went back to see if I left it there, they told me I left it on the counter. Somebody could have easily taken the cash but instead it was all returned.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and this review is long overdue.

The best tacos de asada of Alameda, also the fish taco is so delicious 😋 but Pupusas are other level... 🔥🤤 My favorite is chicharrón y queso 🔥💕 five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because also his owner Rudy is so nice and always listen to the opinion to the customer to improve this delicious food.

First time here, stopped in to get chicken street tacos and grandma tortilla soup and holy smokes I love it the service is great and fast. I will be visiting again

Food was amazing customer service was amazing.... The soup was so good .... The hospitality was amazing I'm definitely coming back .... The manager and an older gentleman who works there introduced themselves .... Good people they can have my money... Please tip them everyone they truly deserve it.

I love this place. Their burritos are delicious. Staff is friendly. The Tortilla soup is perfect. I literally eat here multiple times per week, and have not had a bad meal.

Does not get better than this food. I eat here x2 week everything is always tasty and fresh. I like the chicken tacos, the soups are amazing. Rudy and Alfonso are always upbeat and in a good mood. Prices are very fair.

BEST BURRITO IN ALAMEDA!!! I have been going here for over 15 years and I have never been disappointed. The best secret about this place is actually their soup. If you want a great bowl of soup on a cold day, this is the place to go.

Owner was very welcoming and nice. Shared many samples of their soups with me before I even had a chance to order, all very tasty. I ordered a reg burrito, very good. I'll be going back soon.
Update: been back to this place many times now, nothing on the menu has disappointed yet.

Food was authentic and full of flavor. The owner was so kind and personable. My daughter said that the bean and cheese burrito was the best she ever had. I had the pupusa and sopa de enchilada. Both dishes were so tasty with just the right amount of spice.

Love this place. Great flavor, service, and prices. The chile verde plato, desebrado de res (similar to barbacoa/carnitas consistency) and red salsa are all amazing.

Always eat here when we visit Alameda. Best Mexican food on the island. Shrimp tacos were heaven.

They have the best tacos i have had in America. The burritos are ridiculous in size and flavor as well. Skip the chain burrito places, and come here instead. But also get the tacos al pastor. YUM!
