Inn at Temescal

After camping in the woods for two weeks, Temescal felt like a dream. The hotel is clean, painted with fun colors, and the accessories are up to date and modern. Our truck felt safe with the gates surrounding the property. The man at the front desk was kind and efficient. Overall, GREAT value for your money.👍🏼

Always a pleasure to stay at this location! The staff is exceptional. The rooms are very clean, and modern. We appreciate the hard wood floors and chic furnishings. There are many convenient touches such as a keurig and coffee pods. My wife and i always appreciate staying here, and look forward to it! We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Stay here and you will have a lovely time.

Nice, clean, modern, well furnished rooms. My only complaint is the bottom of the bed frame was made of thin metal which made a noise when getting in/out of bed.
Easy to get to MacArthur station which can take you to San Francisco city.

Inn at Temescal is in a convenient spot only a few blocks from the MacArthur BART station. As anyone will tell you, the neighborhood is somewhat sketchy, but it didn't affect our stay at all. Our room was clean; the sheets and towels spotless; friendly housekeeping and front desk staff; great soft water; cute and great-smeliing toiletries; nice TV with a good number of channels; comfortable beds and pillows; parking and WiFi included; and at a reasonable price for the Bay. Unavoidable sounds from the street (some ambulances since there's a hospital nearby, honking cars, etc.) but well-insulated rooms (I could barely hear anything from the guests in adjacent rooms). My only complaint was that cigarette smoke from other guests leaked into our room on the ground floor, but I blame the obnoxious guests, not the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Great price for what you get. Room was nice sure people were outside sometimes and the area isn't the best but its in downtown location so you're gonna have people outside all the time. Management was great, helpful, caring, and very nice. Will book again.

Very impressed with this motel. The room was exceptionally well laid out, and many of the facilities in this 2 star hotel were much better than the other hotels we stayed at during our holiday. Highly recommended if your stating in Oakland; especially if you have a car.

If Nicholas (originally from Iowa) greets you when you check in, you'll feel like you won the lottery. Great, cool part of town. Can't call it a 'luxury' hotel obviously, but very comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

Easy check in. Got a room on the second floor. There's some street noise but it's not too bad. Room is clean and comfortable. Close enough to everything.

Ignore the surroundings. Its updated, affordable, nice and clean and the staff is friendly. Manager was kind enough to let me park my small trailer in the small parking lot!

This place is great for last minute accommodations at a great price. It’s really clean and the manager is very friendly and inviting. Will definitely be coming back
