Lincoln Square Park

A park by and for the Oakland Chinatown residents with events and recreation. Has basketball courts, play structures for kids and open areas for other activities. Public parking is all around but can be challenge.

This was a whole walk. You get a map and you do the walk and see the murals. It's a nice way to look around a neighborhood. There are a lot of murals and it's really fun to spot them. We started the walk in the middle of the map and didnt even do the whole thing - it was still great. You can get the map at the visitors center in Jack London square and then you can take a shuttle (free) and walk around instead of dealing with your car. You can either take the shuttle back or walk back to your car.

Love the playground which is designed to look like a Chinese junk boat. The structure is large, flat and great for young kids to run around in. The park looked clean, well maintained and full of kids.

I volunteered at an even held at Lincoln swuare park. It was so nice how they had different set ups and games for the community kids. The best part was the guy i completely forgot his name. But he would fix bikes and raffle them off to the kids, that really touched my heart. The dedication they have to the community can't be expressed by words. I would love to come back and serve as a volunteer especially since they are from a different culture really makes me appreciate it.

Junk boat 🚢 and best little park in Chinatown area of Oakland. Wonderful seasonal community events, too!

Cool place to hoop 🏀, play with your kids or get a quick outdoor workout.

They have some great summer programs, and they gave free Covid tests AND vaccinations during their events! There is a junk boat playground for small children that is wondrous! Wish I could play on it!

Great memories playing basketball here when I was younger before I moved out. One of the best basketball courts in Oakland. At the moment, baskets are temporarily removed due to this year's pandemic.

The aesthetic is compatible with my notion of peace in a public space. The park allows to let go of people, places, or things that no longer serve me.

Great community park in downtown Oakland, take my 1.5 year old there 3 xs a week....

Very active community park, basketball, fan dancing, tae kwon do, children's playground, with nice mural art!

They got pull up bars to work out on .... The Asian Og's be out playing cards dont know what game yet... the basketball courts and the gym are closed.

Yes! A good playground for kids however is in mid condition as it has missing swings and not very Clean.

Best place to play basketball ever. So many courts and friendly competitive people around.

I appreciate the pirates of the Caribbean scenery at this park, but absolutely love playing on Attles Court practicing my jumpshot.
